Discounted items for less here. Be willing to take the time to look through items. When you do, you'll no doubt find something useful for your home, kitchen or closet. When that happens, be prepared to walk out with five other things, plus the one thing you wanted. Shelves are generally stocked and organized. During the holidays not so much. Checkout lines are always long if you come midday. Going off peak when they first open allows no wait time. Staff I've encountered at this T.J.Maxx have always been helpful and cordial. Sadly the only thing it has going for it is that u will always find parking. The store itself is always a mess. The employees are always talking to one another (very loudly) and it seems the store is always with carts and merchandise that's being put out even if u go when they first open. I worked here for almost 2 and a half years and let me tell you: worst experience ever. It was my first job at 18 years old. I was so optimistic about it until I started noticing things around the store. The managers are no help whatsoever and very unprofessional. I did not feel appreciated as an employee, despite all the hell I went through just to make sure my work was up to par. The timing to get things done is unreasonable. Not to mention, they do not clean or organize this store regularly or efficiently, their escalators are always breaking down and need constant repairs, and they treated us like absolute garbage. -5/10 would not recommend it. It's a convenient location but store is always dirty. Staff is rude. Always chatting and on phones while on their shift. That's rude for customers because we are ignored. If you interrupt them to ask a question they get nasty. read more

This location is okay. It's pretty small compared to other TJ Maxx locations. Today, I was able to buy a Casemate case for my iPhone and 2 temper glasses screen protectors also from Casemate for $20. So it was definitely a steal. Overall though, to find good items in this location you must hunt around. There isn't much organization in the way items are stocked here. read more

I don't think I will return here even though it is in a convenient location for me. Today was the second time I have had to return something here & the second time they made me feel like I was doing something illegal. The first return was in January of a jacket tags everything in place,the cashier took the jacket my receipt to another area. I watched her make sure the tags & receipt matched then two more people came over to inspect everything. They took almost 10 minutes as I stood there waiting, turning the jacket inside out & everything. Then the cashier rudely proceeds to tell me because of the holiday promotion they would take it back mind you my receipt was less then 30 days so I knew it could be returned. Today I returned items that were brought on Tuesday I didn't get a chance to try on. The cashier takes my receipt again takes the items with all the tags, stickers in place to another cashier & she's pointing out the colors on my receipt. The colors that are on the receipt because it was the end of the cashiers tape roll when I made the purchase. Today reminded me why I said after the first time I would not shop at this location anymore. read more

TJ Maxx - Department Stores Near Me - Bronx, New York

a tjmaxx that is not as big as other locations , not fully stocked as other locations and not as easy to reach if you dont live in the bronx especially the throggs neck section of the bronx but you will be able to find less of a crowd and roam around freely in this 2 level maxx at the throggs necks mall right off the hutch . i was a tag along with my friend who was doing a little shopping for after christmas bargains(he is really cheap ) and even if i dont plan on buying anything i never leave any tjmaxx without buying even one item. place is easy too navigate from aisle to aisle and section to section and i found a few cool gadgets along with flannel pjs that only cost me 15 bucks instead of the original 40 bucks. checkout is quick as 4 cashiers are open and the workers seem nice and do a good job keeping the place clean and orgainized. good useful visit and my buddy spent some money and is not bitching and moaning about opening his wallet. read more

This TJmaxx cannot disappoint me ;-) staff is friendly and not in your face. Always stocked with amazing goodies and the lines are never long with annoying customers which is a wonderful thing in my book. Clean !!! Not crowded and staff is nice especially the security guards !! Literally the nicest Tj I've been too !! The one in college point is a disaster / never long moves here and no hassle returns! read more
