This was my first time exploring the Primark store. I was very surprised to the see how big the store was and the number of goods they had. Apparel, shoes, toys, home goods, accessories and so much more. Lots of signs all around made it easy to locate different sections. I found most of the sections very tidy and clean. All items were are priced decently cheap, but tue quality isn't bad for the cost. We bought some top, jeans and kids toy from here. They had two checkout sections. This was my first visit to Primark, and I was impressed by the wide variety of items for sale at very low prices. From makeup and clothes to home goods and accessories, there's an abundance to choose from. I ended up buying a pair of gloves and waited on what seemed like a short line. There are two spots for checkout, but I was on the left side, where the cashier was dealing with a price check. After a few minutes, the cashier finally directed us to the right side for checkout. Having worked in retail myself, I felt the cashier could have handled the flow of customers more efficiently by directing us sooner. Wow! Just wow! This store is huge! It has to be because it's inside the massive American dream mall. This store reminds me of a marked down H&M. The thing about Primark is everything is made from recycled polyester I believe. Some of the things here are trendy , but then you have your everyday casual items such as tees, hoodies etc. I settled for a fedora type hat as well as a beret, an oversized scarf( shedded all over EVERYTHING, a huge mess) and a pair of sunglasses. I also found $2 snoopy hats for my daughters and some under shirts. I got a dress for my daughter (5) and some socks as well. My total was almost $90, but I think the value is there in my purchases. Date of visit: 9/13/22 We've really fallen in love with Primark (I mean, as much as you can love a store) over the last couple of years and was really excited to hear that there was a Primark at the American Dream mall when we were visiting the area after our honeymoon. We didn't have a ton of room left in our luggage to stock up on things but we did see quite a few things that we liked and did decide to get a Simpsons-related long-sleeve t-shirt for a friend that's a huge fan of the series and were pleasantly surprised by the price--a common occurrence at Primark! We did also appreciate that it wasn't crazy busy at this location like it has been in the past. One place where Primark definitely could improve is customer service. The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer's mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. This is an European chain of shops that sells affordable accessories, clothes, home decors and other fashion items. We visited this shop during our visit to the American Dream and it was our first time here. The shop has a great collection of various items. We didn't intend to buy anything much when we got to this store and ended up buying a lot of stuff. Don't think that the quality of items will take a toss because of the affordable/cheap prices. The items are of standard quality and there's no compromise there. They have a huge number of checkout lanes, so the wait time is very neglige even when you are waiting in the line, while maintaining the 6 ft distance. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and we will be coming here quite often, in the future. read more

Used to love this store but after tonight I'm not so sure. Was gifted a bag from the store. It wasn't really my taste so I asked the person who gave it to me for the receipt. He didn't have it. No problem- I can just exchange it right? It still had the tags. Right? WRONG. I discovered this after wandering around the store for an hour and then waiting on a line that wrapped around the entire store. They wouldn't take it back without a receipt. I said you can't even give me store credit? NOPE they don't do store credit. I was so mad. I told them that that's the most asinine thing I've ever heard. I've never heard of such a thing! Love love Primark! Went to the one in NJ and the one in CT. I'm more of a fan for the CT location bc for one it's less than and hour away and seemed cleaner. It's got great clothes, accessories, shoes, boots, etc. prices are so reasonable. Obviously it's not Gucci lol but if you looking for decent nice clothes, this is the place! I was excited to find a Primark store in the area, but navigating the store was difficult and I had to speak with multiple staff members to confirm pricing and find certain items. The advertising for clearance items was misleading and the store should have honored the prices advertised. Additionally, a staff member took my basket without asking me, which had my sweater in it, causing me to waste more time searching for it. On the plus side, I scored 2 big bags of items at a great deal. The line was shorter than usual since they only accepted cash that day. The store had easy to find rolling baskets and complimentary paper shopping bags, and also offered reusable bags for purchase. One area that could be improved is inventory management, as customers should be able to have items shipped to them if they're not available in store. Also, there should be more opportunities to try on certain items, such as leggings. A fast line should be implemented and advertise how to provide feedback. A tip for shoppers is to go with two people and have one wait in line if possible. read more

First time i came across this store was in London because this store is super popular over there. There's so many of them in Oxford street. When i found out that they were going to open one in the American Dream mall i immediately got super excited! They have so many fashionable clothing items for so cheap. Here you will find men, women, kids clothing, shoes, home items, a lot of accessories and even makeup and cosmetics items. If you come here on a weekend you might find a line but it usually goes by quick. At the entrance you will find greeters. Make sure to grab a basket because trust me it will be full when it's time to pay. My favorite thing about the store is definitely the prices. I can't believe how fashionable everything is and how cheap in price it is but with good quality. When it's time to pay specially on weekends the lines might seem long but they go by fast as they have a lot of register open. Happy shopping! read more

I'm very familiar with this shop. In London UK, they had the best stuff. I went to the Brooklyn store. Didn't see much really worth buying. All I got was a small suitcase. Most of the stuff isn't great, Polyester PJs etc. I usual just buy cotton underwear. They last well. TIP: I rarely wash anything in hot water. I only wash in cold, unless it's maybe towels? Never put your bras in a dryer, The won't last long. Anything cotton will shrink! Anyway back to Primark, It's worth a look, It's hard to find quality stuff.. You just have to look. I went to Primark looking to get hardshell suitcase at a reasonable price on the recommendation of a friend for my husband and son's - daddy and son vacation in Jamaica. I was amazed! By this store. The prices, the select, the good fashion, the prices which is worth mentioning twice, how... How in the .... did I not know about this store before! No advertisements, no nothing but if you know, your purse and closet are blessed to know. A large hardside suitcase for only $40 an impulse purchase of only ten toddler outfits, a light summer jacket for cooler evenings, some spare t-shirts, four pajamas, two pair of swim trunks for only $4 each which is the regular price not even on sale, one pair of night slippers and a four pack of bubbles for $1.50 to appease my two year old sons growing impatience with my shopping trip for only $143.94... I win! Two days later I convince my husband who works 10 to 12 hours a day and hates spending money to come with me to Primark to get his vacation clothes. He wanted to just go to Old Navy but I convinced him with "but the prices!" Not even 20 feet into the store and he was already excited about two outfits and the prices attached. He finished his shopping trip with a large IKEA sized bag full of clothes for his eight days of vacation and a few accessories for me for just under $230... we win. P.S.
