Today I found crocheted sea creatures in the window; as other reviewers have mentioned, there are vintage compasses, dice--even some with letters showing Scrabble® values on them--in addition to the knitwear, hats, and gift objects. What drew me in today was a Panama hat; I didn't try it on, although I've been wanting a Panama for years. I ended up getting a pair of vintage Italian sunglasses that made me feel as though I was channeling Lina Wertmuller, and a pair of drilled dice--one red, one green. Meg sells these and other little chatchkes on strings hanging on the well, that you can put on your own cord or chain. Such a great store! Next time I'll explore the knitwear.

Also, the store is a mess. I thought someone was paying for something because there was a pile of clothes next to the register, and it was just clothes that hadn't been put away. I really like Carter's, so I'll probably continue to buy its products, but I'm not going back to this location.
