    The man, the owner, is perfectly friendly, business natured, and wants to help! I needed a light…read morefixture $3, 2ft wire $.98, and an infinity bulb $6.99. The place is filled with stuff, there is almost no walking area, does it matter? No! He went into his back room and minutes later returned with all three items like the WIZARD OF OZ! I left, but quickly returned since I needed one washer as well, the packs were $1.50, he without me asking, offered to find one, lose washer, he did, only $.25! I literally gave him one quarter and left. Each part worked perfectly. I will go back, RadioShack didn't have what I needed but he did! Bring cash unless over $20, but there is an ATM IN THE BODEGA NEXT DOOR! Great convenience!

Do you see how ridiculous this is?!!!? HE'S the boss!!! Why on earth would he have 'THE MINOR' work the machine then, and stand at the counter with the key machine?!!!? It seemed that 'the minor' wanted to help, and was at the counter for service. (How was I supposed to know he didn't know how to cut them?!!!? He LOOKS like an adult! Why was he even ALLOWED to cut the keys?!!!?) After the first two not working, after going all the way back home to find out, I came all the way back for two working keys, which didn't work, either. No apology from either one of them- just 'I used the wrong key'. Then he made two more. Went back home, and they did NOT work. I should have known, because the customer in there right before me was yelling at the store owner. I just had no idea what they were yelling about. Horribly rude, incompetent service. The mistake would have been forgivable if the owner wouldn't blame the customer(s) about something that's so clearly both their fault. Then he got angry and yelled at me for wanting a refund after FOUR keys didn't work- I wasn't going to go all the way back AGAIN- I would give him negative stars and revoke his 'service' store. HE HAD ONE JOB. Yelling about why your workers are incompetent really does not help your cause. (FYI, after about 8 minutes of his tirade, eventually he said they didn't work because the key was a copy. It wasn't, it was an original. I just wanted to see what he had to say for himself afterwards. If that were even a true reason, he never once mentioned it before.)

I like to use local people so I went into this store based on the 5 star review I saw. The owner was super nice and helpful. He said to just buy whatever I thought I would need and I could return things I didn't use like unopened paint thinner and primer. I took his word for it and bought more than enough to do the job. When I finished the job I had a quart of primer and a can of paint thinner to return so I brought it into the store with my receipt and asked to get a refund for the unused products. The person in the store was not the same guy that I dealt with previously. I showed him my store generated computer receipt but it was for the gallons of paint and not the primer which I bought the day before. This guy was so horrible and refused to return the unused stuff without the proper receipt. I asked if he could call his boss and ask him if he remembered me since we had a long talk about the neighborhood. He refused and was so rude that I left the store and he actually follow me out and shouted a nasty remark at me. After I left the store I decided to call back and ask about a sale based on the order number and he looked it up in the computer not realizing he was speaking to me. Once I had that information I went back into the store to demand my refund based on the receipt number he had provided me on the phone. WOW, I thought, what a fool and jerk he was. He refused me service and was rude when I came in originally; I had to outsmart him to get my refund. What a crook! I will never go in that store again. I hope the owner of the store reads this review and FIRES this guy because he is really hurting the business.

    I am a contractor and always try to buy material locally to help our small business in the…read morecommunity , after the experience I had today at Loconsolo I decided I will not be buy paint for them anymore , I stoped by on 6/21/24 to pick up 10 gallons of paint I walked into the store to the front counter as I stand there the store attendant ignores me completely, he did not ask How can I help you? What do you need so I proceeded to ask him for a 5 gallon eggshell paint as soon as I finished my first sentence they attended rushed to the back of the store to get the 5 gallons of paint . I told him I was not done placing my or order. I also need a 5 gallons flat paint , A few seconds later, he came out with the two buckets of paint without shaking them, so I ask him to shake them. He proceeded ignore me and try to charge me for the order I I repeated myself I said I need those gallons shaken at that point I ask him if there was a problem , i said your acting as if I was here asking you for a favor , I am a paying costumer , he continue to ignore me and keep asking for payment , at point he went to the back of the store to get paint and I decide to leave without the paint I have been a costumer at Loconsole for at least 10 years always great costumer service whoever hire this store attendant is gonna lose at lot of business , he acts as a Home Depot worker that's not gonna work here since business is base on costumers service if I wanted bad costumer service I just go to Home Depot and avoid unnecessary actitud
