The workers I have encountered here multiple times are all very helpful. One my last visit, I had trouble finding the single item that was the main focus on my visit. Dave/ or was it David?,... who helped locate a Drill Hole Jig with accuracy under 20 seconds from the register to the exact spot. The item was hiding in plain sight.... But whoaaa was I thankful! The name of this place is Harbor Freight Quality tools lowest price. As soon as I walked in this place the people were so helpful. There were actually employees walking around that asked if I could find everything. They were very knowledgeable and so helpful. I've been to a lot of Harbor Freight and this one here may have been boarded up and it looks like it was closed but it was had boards to keep people from messing with the store during this difficult time. The manager's name was Tamika and she came and helped me personally, I guess they could tell that this was not my store. They were so helpful I was able to purchase the two Father's Day gift I need. So my month is so much easier due to their help. I hate hate HATEEEEE the employees here. Not only are they rude and not helpful. But they just waste your time. I drove TWICE to this location. I called to see if a item was in stock and they told me yes so I drove there for them to be RUDE say that they haven't updated the system since 2019.. how is that possible if it's 2021 and the item is in the NEWEST catalog. I then started driving home and my dad decided to call back just to make sure they didn't have it (because we were told this location had 4!). Then a woman over the phone told me yes they had it but couldn't hold it for me because of coronavirus protocols..? Okay? So we drove back immediately, didn't take us more that 10 mins to get back since we were already driving. We get back in line and ask the cashier if she has this item in stock but she immediately shut me down soooooooo rudely and said "NO. We don't carry that anymore. Brandon supervisor, Brandon manager, and Rey were all so helpful and nice when it came to helping my family search for some lights about a few weeks ago. They didn't show an ounce of annoyance that they had to check in the back and even apologized to us about the wait. We had no problem waiting at all. When they brought it out, they joked and laughed with us and we left feeling really happy. Y'ALL NEED TO GIVE THESE THREE A RAISE BECAUSE THEY WERE SO NICE AND HELPFUL. I started shopping here around 1994 when it was in the Autozone building across the parking lot. I always enjoyed the catalogs and 20-30% off any item coupons that came out every so often. First time going here, a couple of people had mentioned this place before. Got an email with coupons, saw couple things that were a good deal. So we decided to come and check it out. It's a small yet clean store, the location isn't ideal. Especially for ladies so I would recommend coming when the suns out. Park up front. But it's nice, found couple things we liked. Would of gotten only 1 star if we didn't go back in a second time. My boyfriend and I are currently homeless, I know going into any store I'm going to be followed by someone, but he has not experienced this as much. The first worker that came and asked us if we needed any help sounded quite rude. We were also obviously being followed/watched. No break, from aisle to aisle. They didn't need to be so obvious lol, I just ignored it but my bf said it left a bad taste in his mouth. We bought a couple things but went back in to look at some other items that we ended up buying as well. This time we weren't followed and the cashier we had helped us out a lot. The "strong odor" probably is a result of all the rubber items (hoses, wheels, etc.) in the store. I used to manage a tire warehouse, so to me it smells like old home week. Yes, you need to be observant when using coupons during checkout and check the receipt BEFORE leaving the checkout stand. I received a coupon for 7/4, 7/5, and 7/6 offering 25% off 4th of July sale., but did not read the 25% off was ONLY for the 4th. I had to work on the 4th, so could not make it that day. The coupon also offered a free flashlight for 7/6, the day I was in the store. I did not read the receipt and the clerk charged me a discounted sale price for the flashlight, but did not ring it up as free. I went back in waited in line (not too long) and she corrected the error on the flashlight. Harbor Freight almost always has a current coupon offer for 20% off, which the clerk could have offered in lieu of the 25% off, but did not. I will be returning the other items tomorrow and repurchase them when the 20% off coupon becomes available. The only tools I purchase at Harbor Freight are those for which I will probably have only a one time need. Any tool to be used on a regular basis will be purchased at Lowe's. I have always been able to find help, but typically have to go to a register to ask for it. read more

I have been shopping here for over twenty years. The tools have never let me down. The ten dollar 4 1/2 inch grinder has an on/off switch that can be improved. I also have a Makita grinder from the big box store for over $65.00. One can buy a Ford Fiesta with no place to hang suits over the back seat or one can buy a Toyota Camry, Cadillac or Lexus. It is that simple. I want to commend the manager Jeff and his staff, Amanda, Kyley, Abigail , Troy and others for their friendliness and professionalism on every visit. I greet them with a smile and they return it. Jeff assisted me on a return without blinking an eye. That's CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A SMILE !!!! As far as Joe T's review on this site of Jan. 3, 2016, It is sad but true that at nearly all retail places such as Target, Wal-Mart, Costco, grocery stores that the employees who are supposed to be professional have nails sticking through their tongue, eyelids, cheeks, ears, chin and lips. Okay, I know this is going to sound nuts but I've been doing grounding lately and bought a grounding mat on the internet. I read about how to test it where I had to look for electromagnetic fields with and without the mat to see if it works. So I had to buy a meter for that. My boyfriend told me to come here for the meter. I'm a girl and have no clue what to look for and my boyfriend couldn't come with me that day. So I went it alone. The guy that helped me at this store was great. He walked me over to the meters and listened to what I was trying to do. (And didn't roll his eyes). Had a good experience at this location, place was clean and everyone was friendly. The only thing was that, I had some coupons and they gave me a free head flashlight with my purchase. So I took it home and when I got home I realized that the battery slot was too big for the batteries to make contact and the cap wouldn't close, so I said to myself, why give out something that doesn't even work? My experience happened at the Highland Ave. and Del Rosa Harbor Freight in San Bernardino. They had a tent sale this past weekend, the 17th of Oct. The manager is pointing to a corner of the tent saying that everything in that area is 50% off, never saying that any parts are missing from the merchandise on sale. I had bought a Predator Generator a few years ago and they had an accessory item which consisted of rear wheels, handle and front pegs. Maybe I'm too naïve but I jokingly asked the cashier if this item was on sale because it only had one wheel and to my amazement she said "yeah".
