I come here regularly for dog food, and this location has been consistently solid every time. They're always well stocked, which saves me from having to bounce around to different stores, and everything is easy to find. The store itself is clean and organized, which honestly makes a bigger difference than people realize. One thing I didn't expect at first but ended up really liking is their clothing section. The prices are actually very reasonable, and I've picked up a few flannel shirts here that hold up well and look good. It's one of those spots where you go in for one thing and end up finding a couple extras that are actually worth it. Not only is this the best place for home improvement products but also very convenient for the calimesa , yucaipa locals . Avoiding the 20 minute drive to Redlands for the nearest Lowe's or HD. They have chicks again. We get chicks every now and again, and now we have 8. The Big Layer Chicken feed is a really good price here. The only problem is that it is Purina. They had egg cartons, buy 4 get one free; $3.84, or 15 for $10. The chicks are 4.99 per chick, with a 4 chick minimum, I believe. That was the policy last time we bought chicks. FLORENCE NEEDS A HAPPY MEAL! I was waiting in line to checkout, which took approximately 12 minutes. When I was next in line, the store associate started to scan my items. The other store associate named Florence was very rude and rudely asked the asscociate that her computer was not working and that she would have to take over her computer. Florence then proceeded to rudely ask me that I would have to move all of my items to the other counter. I stated why do I have to move my items when I have waited in line for 12 minutes. Florence proceeded to ignore me. I stated to Florence that she has very poor customer service skills. Florence did not offer me if I wanted any bags or even bring up about the tractor supply credit card. I will never shop at tractor supply again due to Florences' rude customer service. I recently purchased a chicken coop and one of the last things the gentleman said to me was, "If you have ANY problems, please give us a call." Upon opening the box I found that a wood screw had split the wood on one piece. The next day I called and I was told to bring the bad piece in and they would swap the bad part out another piece out of another brand new coop they had in stock. When I arrived I was promptly and warmly greeted by BOTH cashiers at the front door and Kylie took me to the yard where she made the exchange. I was in and out in about five minutes. I called with my frustrations at a Cub Cadet mower still under warranty that had been a lemon since I'd bought it last May- I had even had the carburetor & fuel filters replaced, which did no good. The woman on the phone was very kind; she went to ask the question for me and came back with the answer, "yes, our store manager says she honors manufacturers warranties, bring it on down." Awesome. So I go down there with the mower. I encountered a woman at the customer service desk near the center of the store (not at the cash registers). Presented now in-person with my dilemma (via the person now assisting me) the store manager, Mary, refused to come out and see me when I arrived at the store to return the mower.  The woman who spoke to me when I arrived was short with me and super passive-aggressive.  When I asked to speak with the employee I'd spoken with over the phone (who had checked with the store manager and informed me that she would honor the manufacturer's warranty), the lady acknowledged that this employee was present but said, 'she is just a cashier,' and that's it.   Then she suggests I buy a gas-can and somehow pour the gasoline from the mower into the can, stating, "we don't take anything with gas."  She then outright refuses to assist any further and reads a customer service number off to me for Cub Cadet and sends me back home with the mower. I emailed corporate letting them know, and they never answered me. Terrible. So now I have a mower I can't use, that never worked all that well, and an overgrown lawn I cannot mow, and I'm a single mom who can't afford a new mower. I love that the customer service is always great I especially would like to give a small shout out to the lady working today on November 10 about 8:30 PM 30 minutes before closing I am a little over six months pregnant and I had to buy dog food I was going for a 45 pound bag of dog food and out of the three employees that were at the checkout area she stopped what she was doing to offer to help me carry my 45 pound bag of dog food to my car which I am super grateful for because of my pregnancy it has made it very difficult for me to pick up unsteady bags that weigh over 20 pounds and I just really appreciated her she had short hair and just super sweet and kind and was very nice to my dog that I had with me in the moment. I guess you get what you pay for! Our first visit, June 13, we bought a three pack pruning kit. Loppers,hedge trimmers and hand clippers. Thought it was a good price. We used the hand clippers and loppers, seemed to work ok. Didn't use the hedgers until a few days ago and they were awful! My bad, I didn't save the receipt, but had a charge on the credit card. I took all 3 back, hoping to get a refund and buy a more expensive pair of hedge trimmers. They would not return them because I didn't have the receipt. When they first opened, TSC was great. I have had a few poor experiences in the past few months but yesterday was the worst. I went in for a labor day advertised sale chicken coop. Sale add says if they don't have it, they will give a rein check. And they did not have it. Manager Rick said this is not a rain check item, but I could order it on line and pay $50.00 shipping. He said they were not getting anymore in, even though the sale is not over. He checked on the computer and said a store in Lake Elsinore and a store in Murrieta had one. We checked with another store employee and she said they have had several requests for the coop but they were only shipped one. She said she called the other stores and was able to get one for another customer but the others were sold out. She said all the stores in the area were only shipped a few. She was very nice and apologized but said there was nothing they could do, it was a corporate decision how many coops to send to each store. Rick would have had us drive to Lake Elsinore or Murrieta only to find out they didn't have one either. So I called the corporate customer service number and spoke to Brandi. She said the computer was down to see if the coop was a rein check item and said she could not verify how many coops were sent to the stores. She said I could order it on line and she'd give me half off the shipping. What's going on here? It advertised, offering a rein check but not for this item and its not stocked in the stores. This is my go to for piggy food. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They have so much fun stuff. Bird feeders and seed, food for any animal, hardware for enclosures, pest control, and circus peanuts! There's toys too! I got some rain boots with chickens on them! Too cute! The Calimesa Tractor supply has the absolute worst customer service. Long before the virus hit you have to go into the store at least twice to get someone to go to the propane tank to refill. They have no management or supervision at this store so of course the employees are undirected and do pretty much whatever they want, regardless of whether customers are waiting or not.
