Harbor Docks is one of our favorite stops after a day of fishing! There's just something about coming off the water and settling in here for a good meal. This trip, we ordered a mojito, the Pad Thai, and a blackened swordfish sandwich. The Pad Thai is always a hit and didn't disappoint! Our waitress accidentally brought the swordfish as the catch-of-the-day entrée instead of the sandwich, but she handled it perfectly and quickly brought out a bun, all the sandwich fixings, and fries to make it right. Mistakes happen, and great service is all about how they're handled. Harbor Docks made it right without missing a beat, and we still had a great meal and a wonderful experience. Went to have sushi here. This was recommended by our tiki boat driver. Sushi is pricey, but expect high prices in Destin. I did start off with the fried green tomatoes. They were delicious. I didn't even want to share with my friends. I got the volcano roll. It came with warm crab salad on top. It looked small when it came to our table, but it was definitely filling. They do have a sushi bar. There's plenty of seating. We were told it was a 30 minute wait, but we were seated pretty quickly. Our waiter was very nice. They had sports on the TV. The pickled veggies helped balance the tuna dip, making it very refreshing to enjoy! I'm not a huge fan of grits, but the cheese they added made it way tastier than others I've tried. The swordfish was a little zingy with a good peppery taste. And while the sushi portion was on the smaller side for the price and could have been wrapped a little better (bottom part opened upon picking it up), the zoo roll was very fresh and the flavors went well together! The only thing I'd skip were the hush puppies since they didn't have much going for it other than it being sweet fried dough (probably needs onions). He did feel like the crab over powered the shrimp. Service was a little on the slow side, we were there over 2 hours. Our waitress was Francesca. The other waitresses in the area visited their tables much more frequently than she did. But I still wouldn't call it bad service. We had the tuna poke nachos appetizer -- literally the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life. The tuna was so fresh, wontons so crispy, sauce spicy and delicious. I had the surf & turf, 12/10. Steak cooked perfectly, very tender and flavorful. My boyfriend had the catch of the day (swordfish) and he loved it!! Our drinks were very strong and good. Our server was amazing, very personable and on top of it despite it being very busy!!! We also had an approximate wait of 20 minutes which turned out to be about 2. We sat outside by ourselves at a picnic table waiting an hour and half for our food. Let's just say our backside didn't love it. But the saving grace was The food was amazing. I would give them a solid 4.5 b/c I feel like their prices are very expensive (and keep going up) but since we can't do half points I rounded up to 5 stars. My daughter had a kids grilled fish meal which was about $14 but came with a nice piece of grouper and grits. My husband had the grouper tacos and I had the grouper club. I wouldn't call it a club since it was more of a simple sandwich, no lettuce, tomato, onion, just bacon, cheese, and slaw. The thick bacon was good but overpowered the fish-which was fried but would have been better grilled. It was also super pricey at around $32. I wouldn't order it again but would definitely try grilled grouper next time. My other daughter got sushi and loved it. I have had the Thai food here multiple times and it is always delicious too. Highly recommend trying the key lime pie for dessert! Be sure to go to the fishing docks behind the restaurant afterwards. It's a fun place to watch the boats and see the sunset. read more

Leaving disappointed. The fish tacos were cold after waiting 1 hour for our food. We got sushi (which we were warned would be a 40 min wait), but the fish tacos came out 20 minutes AFTER we got the sushi. The server was very kind, but seemed overwhelmed due to their assigned tables being on opposite sides of the restaurant. I feel like the disorganization causes so much trouble and frustration for the staff and customers that eat here. read more
