Domo! As we've learned the menu and what we like (and like to remove) on some of the speciality rolls, Domo has become a favorite in our family. The staff is great, the food has remained high quality and delicious, and it's always a great experience when we stop in. One of our favorites to visit with friends & family as well and it always gets rave reviews from new visitors.

Domo is a Hidden Treasure and Destination in Destin! We are from California but Domo Sushi Place Brought us Great Memories of Fresh Sashimi, Sushi and other Japanese dishes and great choices! Great staff and kind team! Awesome Japanese vibe and decor! Will be back always!!

Everything at Domo Izakaya is chef's kiss!!! I stop by this restaurant every time I visit Destin and it's my fave! Definitely must try if you're ever in the area! Cute anime decor! Clean! Service is okay!

Love, love, LOVED this place! By far one of my favorite Asian restaurants around and I could not recommend it more. The restaurant was very cute, cozy, and felt easy to relax in. Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and was able to help with some accommodations due to my pregnancy restrictions. The food was amazing and came in large portions; the cucumber kimchi was my favorite. I'll be making my way back here soon.

Little gem in Destin! The ramen, rolls, and yuzu crème brûlée were absolutely delicious. Amazing flavors, great service, and a lovely ambience highly recommend. Love the kids menu, so cute and well served.

Deja Vu Roll

Yall, this was one of the best sushi rolls ever. I was going between two rolls, and the server suggested the Deja Vu roll. She also mentioned it's one of their more popular rolls, and I understand why! All of the flavors and textures work together so nicely. I also enjoy my nigiri. The presentation was not what I expected because I couldn't see the rice, but it was there covered by the spicy salmon and wrapped by seaweed. I would order that again. The vibe of the restaurant is pretty cool also. The only negative to my experience was that they didn't allow my lunch mates to order a kids sized ramen bowl. They just didn't want a huge bowl and are new to the ramen thing. I would recommend this restaurant and go back!

We had such a good time! The sushi was spectacular- truly some of the better sushi we've had in a long time. Service was quick and the drinks were filled many times without asking. It was busy when we got there and it was a random 2pm on a Tuesday so it's clearly working for them!

DOMO Chicken Ramen

We went to Domo Izakaya for the Ramen but we also got the Bun. Bun appetizer was great! 10/10 The Goku Ramen was also great! 8/10 The Domo Chicken Ramen not so great 3/10 I'll start out with the bad. The Domo Chicken Ramen is let down by a prepackaged chicken they add. It looks and tastes exactly like it sounds. Like chicken lunch meat you get from a package that's already precooked. Awful flavor and really makes this Ramen dish horrible. Being truthful we told our waitress and she was like ya it's preference but confirmed that it's 100% pre packaged chicken and they just heat it up. I thought she would offer something else after telling us that but she smiled and basically said, " Better luck next time". The Goku Ramen was stellar, great broth with a little spice and fall of the bone tender meat. They even give you a dipping sauce for the meat. It's great but pricey at $32 and I only got 4 medium chunks. It doesn't have much veggies or extras. It's broth, meat, corn and noodles. That's it. The bun was the best bang for your buck. $5 but you only get one and it's lightly flavored but in all the best ways. Overall experience was a 6/10. Food was hit and miss. Confirming the quality of one meal by staff but not offering to provide a better dish was a huge miss on their part. I'll return for a follow up visit but initial impression is mixed. I think it has potential though

Food, service, and ambiance is as great as usual. I got a little more sushi than usual but they were all delicious. Great portions.

Food and service was great. All the servers were very friendly. And they are pet friendly as well which is one of the reasons why we chose this place. We tried the smoking dragon roll, which was unusual and delicious. Next time you're in the area you gotta look this place up.

* The food is amazing. * It was super busy, yet we were seated within 10 minutes. *The staff were curious and professional. *Great atmosphere. *Clean bathrooms.

Domo Izakaya has a great ambience offers a variety of Asian cuisine. There are TVs showing Japanese cooking shows and anime figurines lining the front of the restaurant and bar area for decor. While the food wasn't bad, the service left a lot to be desired. It took us about 10-15 minutes to be seated due to the busy crowd. Once we were seated and ordered our food, it took almost an hour for our food to come out, most likely due to being understaffed as I only saw one or two servers waiting the entire restaurant. They need to do a better job with this because that wait time for our food was way too long. Food wise I got the Black Tonkotsu ramen which was actually pretty good, though the portion could've been bigger. I left still feeling hungry. Overall it's not a bad spot to check out if you want Asian food in Destin, but be aware of their wait times and lack of staff members.

Domo was a pleasant and delicious find during our stay in Destin. As soon as you open the door, you are greeted by the friendly staff and are smacked in the face with the delicious aromas. The appetizers (KFC and crab rangoon) were so delicious I didn't get any pictures but are a must. The sushi here is fresh and tasty, especially the Tokyo A5. The restaurant is trendy and casual and has a locals feel. Definitely a must while in Destin!

We went to Farm & Fire looking for quality food and we found it there along with bay views and great service. My table had salad, steaks, wagyu burgers and crab and artichoke dip. All were quality choices. We were seated in the inside bar area which was nice from the standpoint of having views of the Choctawhatchee Bay. There is also an indoor dining room with table clothes that feels a bit more refined. In addition to watching the bay, we were also able to do a little people watching. The crowd at the outdoor picnic tables enjoying drinks on the edge of the bay also seemed to be having a good time. Our server was awesome. She said it was her second day but I assumed she was a seasoned server for Farm & Fire. She was friendly and attentive and great with all of our questions. She had clearly studied the menu and knew the restaurant. The building has lots of different levels/elevations and stairs. Additionally, a majority of the parking is across the street. For that reason, I wouldn't take someone with limited mobility there but I enjoyed it and I would return.

I don't understand how you can fuse those two dishes. It didn't have the signature flavor of either independent dish. It was more like yakisoba that you buy premade at an Asian market. Extremely disappointing. Also please explain to me how slamming rice, chicken, cucumber, and peanut sauce into a bowl constitutes a Cambodian dish. I have a disdain for any asian fusion restaurants because they lack true creativity and cohesion. This is coming from someone who grew up in Japan and the Philippines with all kinds of East and Southeast Asian Foods. To add insult to injury, our server forgot about some of our drinks and nearly charged me for the wrong meal. I just can't recommend this anyone who truly knows the flavors of each region they supposedly offer on the menu. Please come here to pay California prices on the most mid "Asian" food you've had tho be my guest.

As for the sushi it was fresh & delicious. I really enjoyed the food I got from here and I would eat here again if I can back in town. This review really is between 3-4 stars but the reason I'm going with 3 is because the way they seat you is pretty confusing & inefficient. You have to order prior to being seated which cramps the entrance and slows down people trying to pick up a to-go order. Which that being said.. I WOULD 100% recommend this place to anyone into looking for a good dinner.

Since my first visit, the smiles throughout all the staff made me feel so welcome, even at- home like. Very kind, very attentive, and again, very smiley! When I arrive, I can always expect something new for the month. Their monthly specials include ranges of sushi, entrees, and appetizers. The creative excellence always makes trying something new an easy 'Yes!' The hot green tea is very calming for the cold days and the sakes always warm you up in the right places. Today, I had hot green tea, miso soup, a sake flight, and a January special: The Dynasty Surf Roll. The miso soup and hot tea are consistent with tradition but the special was a culinary rockstar. It had steak, cream cheese, avocado, mixed ceviche, masago, with these crunch chips topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Can you say "Happy New Year!" . It was so flavorful. The mix of textures was complex but worked great with the ceviche and steak. I was pretty impressed. Not only does it look artistic, it taste like a masterpiece. If we can have this January special all year, I'd definitely add it to my go-to list. At Motto's, I believe the sushi is the star of their show. They do have bento boxes and kitchen entrees, but the sushi is unmatched. If you visit, I recommend exploring the sushi menu and trying their specialty drinks like the milk and fruit teas. The sake options also give range to their menu, with not only flights but dozens of sake and wine options. If you ask me, sushi, sake, and smiles keeps this restaurant dear to my heart. I'll definitely be back next month for the February specials, but truly, the sushi keeps me coming back much sooner. See you next flight!
