We weren't feeling like eating out but wanted to try this food so we ordered takeout. We were happy we did. Unfortunately I forgot to take any food pictures. A chicken lettuce wrap from the appetizer section was ordered as an entree and was enjoyed. Others appetizers ordered was a steam bun and steamed dumplings. The stem bun was delicious abet a bit messy. The steamed dumplings were tasty. UDON PORK (TONKATSU) Udon noodle in clear broth soup with scallion , fried pork and vegetables , seaweed on top. I ordered this and it was delicious. I got 3 meals out of it. YELLOW CURRY Yellow curry paste rich creamy coconut milk with choice of meat ,potato ,onion ,carrot served with white rice. My father ordered this as he wanted to compare to another favorite Thai Restaurant. He said it was different so he could t compare but it was very good. He also got 3 meals from this but he is 86 and doesn't eat much at a sitting. MASSAMAN CURRY Massaman curry paste rich creamy coconut milk with potato ,onion ,carrot ,peanut and fried shallot served with white rice. My husband ordered Massaman Curry which he has a favorite in our home state. He said this one is the best he has ever eaten. I also had a Thai tea that was tasty. Our order was hot and ready for pick up within 20 minutes at the lunch hour. We will definitely eat more food from this establishment and next time would like to visit inside to experience the service.

(3.5 stars) Been here many times. It's still good, although a few of my fav menu items aren't here anymore: fresh spring rolls, roti massaman and sweet sticky mango rice (mango isn't sweet at the moment). This time I decided to get something different and went with the Thai sweet and sour with tofu. It was pretty good, but the sauce tasted more like a sweet tomato sauce, which I wasn't really expecting. The veggies were great and plentiful, as usual. I'd probably not get the sweet and sour again, but I'm not disappointed I got it. Until next time!

Absolutely amazing food that was to die for! I got the yellow curry with medium heat and definitely could've gone down in spice, however it was a great portion and with the rice two people definitely could've shared. We got fried dumplings and crab rangoon's for appetizers that were delightful. We also got pad thai with tofu for the first time and it was amazing. The boba was beyond what I thought it wouldve been with pineapple milk tea and mango popping boba I was in heaven!!And the ramen bowl was so good!!! This was a one man show. Our waitress was also busting tables, doing dishes, doing to go orders, and doing the dishes. He was so sweet and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Although it's tucked back a ways it is totally worth it for the reasonable prices!!

Great food. Huge portions. Seemed a little under staffed. Udon Pork Tonkatsu. We'll definitely be back!

Last night in Fort Walton Beach area and one restaurant to check off. Lol Funny thing is I saw this place had Ramen and I had to come here! :) The location of this restaurant is very unique as it looks like it's the rear side of a shopping plaza as I almost missed it. Parking looks like it could be limited as there were only 2 rows on each side. While walking inside, the decor is very simple. Nothing crazy like the Thai restaurants in Atlanta. There were two cute statues towards the front. It was a Monday night around 7:00 PM and there were 2 other parties inside. I was allowed to sit anywhere I wanted which was awesome. This place like most FL restaurants didn't have any kind of Coviad requirements anymore so I won't go into my spill about all of the precautions. The staff did have masks on. The menu consisted of a large variety and the prices reflected like your typical Thai Restaurant from Atlanta. This spot is very unique as it also offers Ramen unlike most Thai restaurants. Complimentary egg drop kinda soup was served. It wasn't bad. I went ahead and ordered the Calamari appetizer where it was consisted of fried calamari, fried carrots, friend broccoli, fried onions, and came with sweet chili sauce. Let me tell you, I was expected a small typical Thai appetizer portion. I was sooo wrong. The Calamari appetizer portion was gigantic. I was like holy cow! I knew there would be left overs going into a box. The sweet chili sauce was awesome. I dipped everything inside the sauce. For my entree, I got Ton Kostu Ramen which consisted of the following: Ramen noodle in white creamy pork bone broth topped with chashu pork, scallion, corn, pea, egg, ear mushroom, and seaweed. Well, behold the portion was huge!!! The giant bowl it came in was enormous. Atlanta Ramen spots need to take note from this place. Price was super reasonable for around $13, you get a lot of food for the value. I really enjoyed my Ramen as it had awesome flavor and fresh veggies and pork. Service here was top notch hereX The female staff members were super friendly and attentive. I can see why this place has 4.5 stars!!! I didn't try any of the Thai dishes here but if your looking for some good Thai/Ramen noodle dishes in the Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and Okaloosa Island, this is the spot for you!! They close at 9:00PM so you may want to hit this place up before your late night drinking on the beach! I can't wait to come back again to try out their Thai dishes!!!

My husband always give me a hard time about using Yelp to find restaurants. He had to eat his words when he tasted his dish at Thai Ramen. We found the food to be large servings and very tasty. We stayed away from the Ramen since many complimentary reviews advised to stay away from the Ramen. My husband had the fried rice with pork, chicken and beef. He loved it. My mother the beef and broccoli also a hit with her. I had the cashew chicken. While this was not as spicy as I was prepared for, it was delicious. We tried the crab Rangoons. They were good. Not the pre made frozen ones you get at many restaurants. My only regrets are that in the Winter they do not have calamari and that we stoped in the last week of our vacation. Next year we will visit Thai Ramen early and often.

What...A...Disappointment?! I have been dying for some ramen since I moved to the area. This place has a pretty high rating, so I figured why not give them a try tonight. Big mistake! I ordered the "Spicy Ramen". I received a bland spaghetti soup, with no spice, flavor or anything that would bring me joy. There were spaghetti noodles instead of traditional ramen noodles. The egg was a hard boiled egg instead of the soft boiled egg. The "spicy" broth had no seasoning at all, but plenty of oil. The seaweed tasted like it was freshly plucked from the gulf this afternoon. The entire dish was horrible. How do you mess up ramen when that's a part of your name?! It's a no for me...

    D2. Chicken Pad See Ew

This dish came out with little to no heat compared to everything else. It had a burnt taste and smell. When we told them about the burnt taste and smell they claim it was because of the wok. We had another noodle dish, that did not even have the burnt taste or smell. They will not refund us or give us a new dish. We were told that this is how the dish is. We had it multiple times other places and never did it taste burnt. The whole time here they did not come check on us or check if the food or everything was fine. Pad See Ew was the dish burnt. Pad Kee Mao dish came out fine. Last photo shows how burnt the Pad See Ew noodles were. Both dish uses same kind of noodles. We came in a group so was charge for tip. Don't waste your time coming here. Go to a place where they actually care about their customers. Come at your own risk!!!!!

The Tom Jha was definitely my husband's favorite soup ever. The coconut milk made it light and bright. Added tofu for protein. Veggie fried rice was so filling and light. Chicken ramen noodles was great. Everything we've tried has been full of flavor.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Fort Walton! Staff is always so welcoming and friendly. The food is phenomenal. The portions are so generous and the quality is the best. We go about once a week at this point because we love it so much! 11/10

As for the sushi it was fresh & delicious. I really enjoyed the food I got from here and I would eat here again if I can back in town. This review really is between 3-4 stars but the reason I'm going with 3 is because the way they seat you is pretty confusing & inefficient. You have to order prior to being seated which cramps the entrance and slows down people trying to pick up a to-go order. Which that being said.. I WOULD 100% recommend this place to anyone into looking for a good dinner.

Since my first visit, the smiles throughout all the staff made me feel so welcome, even at- home like. Very kind, very attentive, and again, very smiley! When I arrive, I can always expect something new for the month. Their monthly specials include ranges of sushi, entrees, and appetizers. The creative excellence always makes trying something new an easy 'Yes!' The hot green tea is very calming for the cold days and the sakes always warm you up in the right places. Today, I had hot green tea, miso soup, a sake flight, and a January special: The Dynasty Surf Roll. The miso soup and hot tea are consistent with tradition but the special was a culinary rockstar. It had steak, cream cheese, avocado, mixed ceviche, masago, with these crunch chips topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Can you say "Happy New Year!" . It was so flavorful. The mix of textures was complex but worked great with the ceviche and steak. I was pretty impressed. Not only does it look artistic, it taste like a masterpiece. If we can have this January special all year, I'd definitely add it to my go-to list. At Motto's, I believe the sushi is the star of their show. They do have bento boxes and kitchen entrees, but the sushi is unmatched. If you visit, I recommend exploring the sushi menu and trying their specialty drinks like the milk and fruit teas. The sake options also give range to their menu, with not only flights but dozens of sake and wine options. If you ask me, sushi, sake, and smiles keeps this restaurant dear to my heart. I'll definitely be back next month for the February specials, but truly, the sushi keeps me coming back much sooner. See you next flight!

The first time the waitress was exceptional and asked us if we wanted chop sticks, which we did. The second time was around 4:30 on New Years Eve. They were closing early that night for a private party. There was only one waitress and service was slower but still exceptable. 3rd time had the same sweet waitress (Jam) as the first time. They seem to get as many takeout orders as sit in and the bar was full-all seats taken. Here is the food review: Appetizers: Bang Bang Chicken is lightly breaded with an amazing sauce. We have ordered this twice. Gyoza is a fried dumpling. We had ordered these the second time we were here because they were out of the steamed pork dumplings. They are good but we prefer the steamed pork dumplings which we have had twice. Their sauce is awesome. On our 3rd visit we wanted to try something different and ordered the seafood wonton. We are happy we did because they were the best we have ever had. The wonton is light and crispy with ample filling of seafood and cream cheese. Mains: Grilled Chicken sandwich-light and tasty with a side of cole slaw just like grandma made and lightly breaded onion rings that were not greasy. Delicious. SuKiYaKi Noodle Soup- had this with chicken and spice level hot. The soup is mild but the hit level is very spicy. Pad Thai- one chicken and two combos were tried. I order the medium level which is plenty spicy for me. My husband orders hot and sometimes it is a tad spicer than other restaurants we have tried. They even have a Thai hot and one more level. The Pad Thai was delicious on all accounts and a step above to other places we have tried. Drunken noodle-a delicious meal Pepper steak: Was delicious even without the peppers. After a few bites I noticed that there were not any sweet peppers in the dish. I mentioned it to the waitress and she came back with a bowel of stir fried peppers to add to my dish. The beef was tender and good quality. Yellow Curry-this dish was enjoyed and the blend of coconut and pineapple was delicious. We have also enjoyed the iced Thai tea. We believe we have found our fave Thai restaurant. It is similar to our previous fave in food but this restaurant has a better ambience.
