Good quality was good. I had red curry, wife had fried rice, we each enjoyed it. We also had spring roll appetizers, served outrageously hot and also good. My biggest complaint on the food was the white rice that came with curry. They make cute heart shape with it, would be nice, but not enough rice was served. Why be cheap with the rice. Their menu is pretty basic and the cooking is geared towards tourists' tastes. For me, it's not authentic enough. This was a very nice find, tucked away and unassuming, but with a friendly staff and good food. My first visit I had the fresh spring rolls with tofu and they were excellent. I always get the hot chili paste to go with the peanut dipping sauce and it is a great combination. My main dish was the Massaman curry and I got a number 2 for spicy and it was not very spicy at all. (good thing I still had the chili paste). However the ingredients (potatoes, onions, carrots and soft tofu) were very good, fresh and tasty with the curry sauce. The Singha is a natural with their curry. The second time I visited I got the red curry and it was very good (lots of broccoli) but I had asked for soft tofu and they gave me fried tofu. Not a big problem but I dropped a star for it. They have a lovely staff but are often quite busy and I can see how things get missed. They do a lot of take out business which adds a lot of business (and busy-ness). read more

Our meal tonight was great. I ordered the Thai basil which was chicken and vegetables with a little chicken broth. I found it very delightful because it was not heavily spiced and the vegetables were fresh. We have ordered their chicken noodle soup which always has fresh vegetables and we enjoy every morsel. The waitresses are attentive so we have felt well taken care of. The restaurant interior could use a little refreshing and updating. read more

We had pad Thai and drunken noodles. Both were very delicious! The restaurant had a lunch rush while we were there, so it was 25-30 minutes before we got our food. They gave everyone waiting for food a plate with 2 fried won tons (comes with lunch order.) If you only have an hour for lunch, maybe call ahead and order take out. The restaurant seating is pretty limited and very crowded, we have 5 people dining and they put us at an end table against wall with only 4 seats, the table was not clean, and we had to hand wipe the table and chairs by ourselves, had to get up to walk to the register multiple times to get our silverware, water, papers, and menus etc... Stopped in to carry out lunch, got home and opened the container, removed the abundance of "salad" (just lettuce) to reveal a tiny portion of Larb (less than a cup) for a not so tiny price. Very disappointing. Paid 43.00 for mostly cheap rice, not even Basamati rice. The food bland, unappealing. Little bit of vegetables, but a ton on onion. Kept finding weird stuff in my soup. We ordered the beef and shrimp pad thai, beef noodle soup and crab rangoon. The food was alright. The soup was really flavorful but my pad thai came out kind of wet for my liking. It also tasted like it had too much soy sauce. Interior could be upgraded. We had to ordered water bottles cause the water tasted a bit funky. Keeping this short and sweet! This was the worst Pad Thai I've ever had in my life. Absolutely terrible. I ordered double chicken, it didnt even look like I got a single serving. Additionally, the short ribs (btw I've never had bad asian short ribs) were smaller than mcdonalds chicken nuggets and again tasted terrible. Not sure they were even ribs. Drunk Noodles are, by the very nature of the name, supposed to be very flavorful--sweet, spicy, and salty. These drunk noodles barely had sauce on them and it was indistinguishable. Even after jazzing them up with everything in the "spicy rack" that was brought to the table they were barely edible. Had we if not been starving we would have sent them back. She said I didn't ask for the condiments and wouldn't refund me for the dish she left out of the bag and then had the nerve to hang up on me. The initial caveat is that this place is a bit hard to locate. It is part of a shopping plaza and is not really visible directly from Harbor Blvd. We missed it once, and nearly missed it again. They had a good selection of dishes and we split two entrees among 3 people (as my daughter already had a smoothie for semi-dinner).
