I'm beginning to believe Destin has no good food. I don't think we will travel to this part of Florida again... nothing we ate was very good. Jasmine Thai was no exception... we decided on Thai because 1) it was a mile from our resort and 2) we thought it might be less of a "tourist trap". The atmosphere is cute and clean enough, but pretty barren. Our waitress, a younger lady whose name I forgot, was pretty sweet but the servers were definitely more interested in serving the men at the bar than tending to us. I get it, but come on, you barely have any customers to begin with!! The food was really weird, everything was sickeningly sweet. The actual quality of the meats and noodles were fine but they were drowning in a ketchup-type sauce that was just not appetizing. We went on a Thursday mid day, service was amazing! My husband saw fried wontons and ordered without reading that they were not crab rangoons lol, but whatever was inside was flavorful! He ordered the panang curry neither one of us had tried that before and oh my GOODNESS talk about a flavor explosion!!! Literally the best dish both of us have ever had, so good! I order the pad Thai and it was super delicious!!! Kids got fried rice and it was also filled with so much flavor!! We visited Jasmine Thai Restaurant on Thanksgiving Eve during our getaway in Destin. We ordered online and were told our order would be ready for pickup on 35 minutes - which pleasantly surprised us in light of it being the night before Thanksgiving-- which is typically a busy night for restaurants. We ordered potstickers, spring rolls and chicken pad Thai. Each were flavorful and done to perfection. The staff was friendly and accommodating- making certain we had any extra sauces that we'd like and chop sticks, cutlery and napkins since it was a "to go" order. We were visiting from out of town so we relied on the driving directions provided by the website - which took us in the complete opposite direction that we need to go. Tried out some Thai while visiting in Destin and sadly we were not impressed. Had the Pad Thai, Curry and Pad Kee Mow. None of them had any flavor. The curry was watery, other dishes no sauce and flavorless. The spring rolls were great though. We'll keep searching for Thai nearby. read more

The ambiance is light and incredibly informative as the menus are displayed on the walls in a tasteful fun manner . We found this place on our way to Destin commons. We went there on a Friday evening and it wasn't packed which was good we were seated right away. We got panang curry, wantons and pad Thai. I wasn't really happy with panang curry as it had a heavy chicken smell. There was on only zucchini in it as vegetables. However the pad thai was good. Been coming here every year we visit Destin. Tonight the food was HORRIBLE. We had the beef salad and drunken noodles. The cook must have been drunk when he cooked the drunken noodles as it was super sweet. The beef salad has no flavor. read more

I think I would give this place 2 and a 1/2 stars but I'm actually going to round down up to 2 because of the fact that I had ordered takeout, and did not get any type of silverware at all. By the time I got to the hotel, I saw that they gave us our food and for 4 people's worth of food they did not give a single fork or napkin at all. I had to find forks and ask the hotel clerk even though it was late at night by the time I reached there so it was a hassle. This place is quite a bit more expensive for Thai food than I usually get, but I can understand because of location that the  rent is probably more as well, so I will let the we'll let the expensive prices go. However, the Thai tea was not very good. The shrimp pad thai was good, but only 6 shrimp was way too little.  Only a few shrimp for the amount of noodles was kind of sad. I would have liked to see more shrimp. The tofu pad Thai was fine as well. Overall, I will not be visiting this location again the next time we are in Destin.  At least I would not order for takeout. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they are better for in person dine in. read more

This has been my go to Thai restaurant, I'm very picky when it comes to Thai food but I can say this place has been very consistent. I ordered a duck dinner and the flavors were amazing! The presentation was very good and the portions allowed me to have a decent lunch the next day. On my second trip a couple weeks later I tried the 3 flavor shrimp dish, it was served with rice, I should have ordered a side of veggies but the shrimp and rice by itself was filling and very very good. When ever you are looking for "Thai food" in Destin make sure you try this one out. read more
