But there are levels to this, and this place is the pinnacle. I was blown away by how nice it is. The room is beautifully designed and clean top to bottom, run like a fine-tuned machine. And the kitchen? Incredible. The food was perfect. Every single bite. The cocktails were excellent, and everything came out piping hot. The whole family was in heaven. The P.F. Chang's back home is fine. Just okay, a typical chain. This is a different animal. If you're anywhere near Destin, make the trip for this one specifically. It's Shangri-La. Stop reading and go.

First time here but definitely will not be the last! Atmosphere is great very good vibe we went on…read morea Saturday night and it was packed inside and out so I feel that reservations are a must at least on weekend nights. We ordered a round of drinks I got their old fashioned which was great! They also have a wagyu tallow inspired old fashioned as well, more on that here in a minute. Staff were super friendly and didn't keep us waiting. Inside seating is rather limited, but they do make up for that with what I'd say is a larger proportion outdoor seating. The tables and seating outside tho are done well and not like cheap patio furniture. The food; so there are a few other sushi/ Asian fusion places in the area but this one is a Strong contender!! The rolls were excellent if you would rather have the more traditional Nigiri or Sashimi they have those options as well. We had the spicy salmon and Mahi machi rolls and they were so delicious that we ordered another round!! Which brings me to the last item as we were too full to try any desert a friend and I did opt for the Wagyu tallow inspired old fashioned. While it was good it just seems to taste like the other original we had ordered. Perhaps there was a mixup or that was the intent, but the price didn't back up the difference which was more expensive. YMMV on that one but something to keep in mind. Bottom line is if you are in the 30A Rosemary beach area and craving sushi with some good vibes do not pass this place up!! We will be coming back!!

They have expansive menu; sushi and stir fry. The sushi we ordered were fresh and well prepared…read more The stir fry options were ok. We ordered the wagyu beef stir fry which was decent, and slightly on the sweet side. The white rice was very dry. The fried rice was also on the sweet side and the chicken was way over cooked. The peanut noodles was ok, not something that I would recommend. The 2 dishes that I would recommend are the Spicy Seafood that comes with noodles and their Ramen. The broth for the Ramen was very flavorful. The Spicy Seafood dish came with calamari, scallops and shrimp and the sauce was spicy and not overly sweet. The fam also enjoyed their fried cheese cake dessert which I didn't try. Be warned, this is a very expensive Asian restaurant so be prepared to spend some money. Our waiter was great and very attentive. I didn't get to check out the decor inside because we were sat outside which was not ideal because it has a view of the parking lot. But I'm sure it was really nice inside based on the menu price.

Recommendations: Crab Cake…read moreChinese Barbecue Duck We visited Basmati's Asian Cuisine on a Thursday night with a group of six to celebrate Chinese New Year. The atmosphere felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the staff made the evening special. We started with the Basmati's Pu-Pu Platter, which is a sampling of dumplings, spring rolls, and crab cake. The standout item was definitely the crab cake. It was full of seafood flavoured, while the dumplings and spring rolls were more standard. If you want to try something special, I would recommend ordering the crab cake on its own instead. Next, we had the Firecracker Grouper, a tempura-fried grouper served with a spicy sweet and sour sauce. The fish itself was fresh and nicely fried, but the sauce did not quite work for me. It lacked sweetness and did not enhance the flavor of the fish. Compared to the crab cake, this dish did not have a wow factor. The Chinese Barbecue Duck was a highlight. The duck breast was served on top of a scallion tempura pancake, which made the dish feel creative and innovative. Both the duck and the pancake tasted great. The plating of all the dishes was top notch, and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating, but since it was a bit chilly at night, we decided to dine inside.

After looking around, the restaurant is cozy with lots of references and art relating to popular Shonen anime. The decorations were super awesome! The food is on a whole other level. My husband and I got the Naruto, Dynamite and the Super Volcano rolls. All the fish we had in our rolls were super fresh, tasty and well complimented by all the accompaniments. Our favorites by far were the super volcano and the Naruto rolls. We also ordered the cookies and cream boba milk tea and it was so delicious! The boba was nice and chewy and the milk tea wasn't too sweet. It tasted like Oreo milk is the best way to describe it. We wish we lived closer as we were traveling to Florida for vacation but we'd definitely stop by if we could again to try more items!! Great job!

Since my first visit, the smiles throughout all the staff made me feel so welcome, even at- home like. Very kind, very attentive, and again, very smiley! When I arrive, I can always expect something new for the month. Their monthly specials include ranges of sushi, entrees, and appetizers. The creative excellence always makes trying something new an easy 'Yes!' The hot green tea is very calming for the cold days and the sakes always warm you up in the right places. Today, I had hot green tea, miso soup, a sake flight, and a January special: The Dynasty Surf Roll. The miso soup and hot tea are consistent with tradition but the special was a culinary rockstar. It had steak, cream cheese, avocado, mixed ceviche, masago, with these crunch chips topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Can you say "Happy New Year!" . It was so flavorful. The mix of textures was complex but worked great with the ceviche and steak. I was pretty impressed. Not only does it look artistic, it taste like a masterpiece. If we can have this January special all year, I'd definitely add it to my go-to list. At Motto's, I believe the sushi is the star of their show. They do have bento boxes and kitchen entrees, but the sushi is unmatched. If you visit, I recommend exploring the sushi menu and trying their specialty drinks like the milk and fruit teas. The sake options also give range to their menu, with not only flights but dozens of sake and wine options. If you ask me, sushi, sake, and smiles keeps this restaurant dear to my heart. I'll definitely be back next month for the February specials, but truly, the sushi keeps me coming back much sooner. See you next flight!

As for the sushi it was fresh & delicious. I really enjoyed the food I got from here and I would eat here again if I can back in town. This review really is between 3-4 stars but the reason I'm going with 3 is because the way they seat you is pretty confusing & inefficient. You have to order prior to being seated which cramps the entrance and slows down people trying to pick up a to-go order. Which that being said.. I WOULD 100% recommend this place to anyone into looking for a good dinner.
