This place is not worth the money. I got a very basic mani pedi with callous removal and paid 77 dollars without tip. I get the same service at better salons for 45-50 dollars I also took my own polish and when I asked for a third coat to make the nail color a little more opaque she refused a third coat because she had a customer waiting even though I gave her a large tip when they asked me to pay before painting my nails. The pressure on my massage could have been stronger and I wasn't keen on how they told me a total and ran my card for several dollars more (though it was an amount that was likely just tax, still; just tell me) Overall, if I was local, I'd come back. After going to this salon/spa for years; my last two visits have turned me off for good. I do NOT mind paying extra for high quality finish and service/experience. Had an appointment for Gel mani/pedi on a Monday evening. They were busy, but not crazy busy- always 1 tech not working throughout the visit. Female Owner told me to sit down so she could start removing my gel polish. This was weird to do this before pedi, but she's the expert, right? :( So she got my hands all covered in tinfoil and sent me on my own with my stuff to a pedicure chair. I am wearing UGGs and socks, but I came prepared with my bag and my flipflops. I start trying to remove my boots and socks with tinfoil fingers. A tech named Max came and ripped my socks off my feet and threw them on the wet and nasty floor. I couldn't get my airpods in to try to enjoy the pedicure either. :( I tried to relax and enjoy anyway even though I couldn't use my phone or listen to music. Max didn't want to cut my toenails- I had to beg (I don't have nasty feet). He also did a sloppy and lazy job with the polish. Didn't polish tops, polish on my skin etc. Right when he starts the foot massage and I chill out the female owner decides to come over and start scraping the gel off of my nails and on to my UGGs and socks which the tech had tossed on the floor. I asked her to please move my belongings so that I didn't get fingernail scrapings in them. gross. Next up was the gel manicure. Well Max wasn't about to use the dremel tool. He was determined to remove the gel and my cuticles through a prolonged period of torture and pain. He was literally ripping my cuticles out, while refusing to listen to my cries of pain and my pleading for him to cut my nails to the length I desired. An hour for gel nails- un believable. One week later and my nails and toes look like hell. Anybody have a recommendation for a nail salon that doesn't charge 80$ for crappy service and horrible looking nails? read more

The owners and people up front were amazingly friendly and helpful! I am giving such a low rating because I got a manicure and the manicurist didn't ask me anything before she CUT my cuticles! She was very gentle and by the time I realized what she was doing (I was looking away) it was truly too late. I felt it was common knowledge to not cut cuticles and really didn't think I would have to go in with a big "please don't cut my cuticles off" sign. my sister and i got both our nails done before we were going on vacation. they split us up so i was getting a pedicure first and my sister and manicure first. my manicure took longer than hers because i didn't like something i had wanted and asked them to change it. i thought of something i liked and they changed it for me to what i wanted. i felt bad for being indecisive but they cared more about the customer being happy. the place is very nice, very cleaned up, i always love going there, it's local, and i know the owners very well. my sister and i both love our nails very much and we would definitely go back again. read more

My teen daughter paid an ridiculous amount for a pedicure and manicure they took advantage of her 100%!!! And when I called the lady hung up on me after asking what were the prices! $111?? for a pedicure and manicure?? They did an okay job on my pedicure, but they were extremely rude from the moment I walked in. I went to look for colors and they assumed that I couldn't afford the gel pedicure and I have no other reason but to assume that it was racially motivated. It also took over 10 minutes for anyone to come and work on my pedicure. After all of this, at the register they added an extra $6.30 to my total because I paid with my debit card. I used to come here all the time, but recently it hasn't been the same. I'm so disappointed. read more

This is my tried and true. While it is on the pricier side, I do go here as they keep the establishment clean, they have dedicated boxes for their repeat customers, and they really aim at serving you. They will offer you hot team or other beverages as you get your nails down. If I head in for a manicure / pedicure combo (with the pedicure being a spa pedicure) I can plan on spending a good 2-2.5 hours there. Now that is service. On a regular basis, they don't seem to rush. Only when they have lot's of walk-ins that come in at the same time. That would be my only suggestion - don't rush your regulars out just because you have walk-ins. I have fallen pray to that and with the cost of the services, it can be discouraging. I will admit though, this doesn't happen too often so don't worry too much. Once you are done with the service, they tend to give you a free massage while you are drying. I really enjoy the free chair massage as it tends to wrap the entire outing up. They also offer an ATM in-house as they can't put tips on the check. I am very excited because most places don't offer this service and the ATM fee is only 75 cents - not your normal $3.00. Nice job Happy Nail Spa! I have visited this is salon on two separate occasions for shellac manicures. The first time was summer of 2017 before a week-long vacation. First and foremost, the manicure is very expensive here. I was charged $37 for a shellac manicure, which is over $10 more than anywhere else I've had it done before. My manicure was chipping on the edges within 4 days. I am generally pretty careful with my nails, taking care not to wash dishes without gloves or do anything stupid that would cause damage, yet they still chipped anyway. I swore I would never go back but I gave them a second chance this past week. I went and got another shellac manicure on Thursday to have a nice set of nails for an event I was going to on Saturday. At some point on Saturday morning of big chip happened on one of my nails where I had to rush back and get it repaired. Again, nothing out of the ordinary happened to cause the chip. It just happened. The salon does not take particular care to make sure that the manicure is done well on the edges of the nails. They also don't take the time to put an additional coat of top coat on which makes the nail more durable. The place where I normally go is not only $10 cheaper but it also lasts for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, it's in New Hampshire and I can't get up there every time I need a manicure. I am very disappointed in this nail salon because I really had high hopes. I like how clean they keep it but I just will never go back because the quality of the product is not there. The only reason I gave the salon to stars is because I have gone there for a pedicure and had a very pleasant experience. Otherwise this place would get 0 Stars. read more

But man and another co worker from my warehouse went to get our hands cleaned up and were told they could not serve us we had to make an appointment. What I liked: Happy Nail is a really clean salon! I appreciated this. Also, the shoulder massage while my nails were drying was a plus. What I didn't like: they charged me more for paying with my debit card. Umm, sorry for not having $75 of cash on me at all times. They did have an ATM in the salon (convenient!) but they asked me to pay while I sat in the massage chair with my feet in suds (inconvenient!). Happy Nail, if you don't want your customers to use debit/credit cards, then don't advertise them on signs all over your salon. I came here during my lunch break to get a gel polish manicure and regular pedicure. They did not disappoint! It was a very relaxing experience and I don't have any complaints. They use high quality nail polishes and provide great service. The staff here are very polite, even help you put your coat on at the end of your service. This was my first time here with a friend. We had pedicures. She called ahead and they obviously fit us in. From the minute we walked in until literally walking out the door it was rushed. The nail tech that I had was having issues with the plastic pedicure liner in the tub and spent more time on that than my feet. He was rough and literally was pulling on my big toe to direct me. As I am sitting here writing this I felt my feet and they are not smooth like I have experienced with previous pedicures in other places. Essentially I paid too much money for a substandard job. My advice, if your establishment is too busy, don't take on the extra work. read more

This Spa is really great, it's very clean and everyone is extremely nice and the two people who I think are the owners always speak and are welcoming. I've only ever gotten pedicures but my sister has gotten manicures and has gotten her eyebrows done and she has been happy as well. What I like about this spa is you can call ahead to see if your favorite employee/nail tech is working (check out Ben, Max, and Kate for pedicures !) and then you can schedule a time with them so you know that when you go in they'll be free to take care of you. Horrible horrible nail salon! If there was an option to give 0 stars I would!This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to! I was in town on business and decided to get my nails done here. They charged me $50 for sns powder which is more than I normally pay. The very next morning my nails were cracking, breaking, and chipping. I went back to show them and ask them to fix it and they actually tried to blame me!! They said it wasn't their dip powder it was my nails that broke and chipped. I have been getting sns powder on my natural nails for a year and have never had them chipping and breaking literally the next day! One of the reasons I get sns powder is to protect my natural nails. The whole point of sns powder is to protect and prevent your nails from chipping and breaking. I think they use cheap ineffective products and did not apply enough powder to coat my nails the first time. They had the nerve to yell at me and blame me for the horrible job that they did. Extremely rude and unprofessional. This was a complete waste of money! $50 down the drain!! I will never go back to this place!! You've been warned. read more

I am always happy here. I have been here on a regular basis and taken breaks. It is rare when you are turned down as a walk in. Somehow they manage walk ins and appointments nicely.
