If I could give more stars I would! I was in need a serious hair update and my former stylist just wasn't giving me the big vintage bangs that I would ask for. I always left disappointed. I heard good things about CC Beauty Bar and the ladies looked like they had funky styles that would work well with me. Michelle was awesome from the first few minutes! She made me feel right at home and the other employees were also so friendly and funny! I showed her a couple pictures and let her work her magic... I could have cried right there in the chair! IT WAS PERFECT! I left the salon with a new bounce in my step and couldn't wait to show my honey! I have found my new salon and will also return for other treatments like spray tanning and nails! I was in need of a brow wax and happened to be driving by. The salon is very cute, looked clean and had a nice atmosphere. There was no wait which was great and the receptionist, who is also a hair stylist but I didn't catch her name, did my brows. She was very sweet and very friendly. She took her time and was very attentive. The bed you lay on is very comfy and private, and I was there for about 15 minutes or so. I do think my brows look uneven and ones too thin for my liking, so I probably wouldn't stop in again, especially at $16. read more

Finally found a new place for waxing. I came here off a Groupon but I re-booked immediately after. Kristen was great. Attention to detail, fast, comforting when she knew a certain part would hurt worse than the other. I got a Brazilian and I don't believe they are ever pain-free but this one wasn't painful at all! Completely overpriced, so-so cut, stylists were loud, rude and condescending when I questioned the cost. I used a Groupon and somehow I ended up paying $10 more for the same services I received my previous visit. (Also, one of the stylists got pretty nasty and smug when I mentioned the fact I had been there before. My maiden name in the system so they didn't catch it. Apparently, the Groupon's fine print states that established clients can't use it. However, I checked, and the Groupon ALSO states that you can buy the Groupon every 6 months. What?) Anyway, they really jumped down my throat. The lady who did my hair whipped out a calculator and started pounding numbers and listing off services, stuttering that SHE was confused over why -I- was confused. (Maybe because I'm using a coupon and paying MORE?) She said that without the Groupon, I would be paying $210...which is now $30 more than what I paid for the EXACT same services last time. Perhaps I was undercharged last time out of the goodness of the previous stylist's heart? I do have sad, short, thin hair. Who knows. Here is what I DO know: I received the exact same services last visit; regardless of what was entered into the computer for billing purposes. I think it's important to mention that at no time did I ever imply I wasn't going to pay for what they asked. I said it several times. I just wanted to let them know that it didn't make sense that I was paying more when using a coupon that covered a bunch of services. In fact, I had to ask them to please charge my card so I could leave. As soon as possible. And never go back. *****Update 2/11/16***** I received a voicemail message from CC Beauty Bar yesterday afternoon. They called me to explain that my confusion must be over the fact that last time I did not have a full hair coloring done, like I did during this visit. The problem is, first - I never asked for that. I asked for my roots to be touched up (which the Groupon covered) and also asked for some highlights. I requested brighter highlights this time around, because Winter is dreary, etc. I mentioned that I would like them on the ashy side because my hair likes to turn bright orange if the highlights are gold. The stylist knew what I meant and assured me that she would use a special glaze to tone down the gold. She did my roots, my highlights, sat me in front of a neato red lamp, then shampooed me, added the glaze, let it sit, and shampooed me again. At no time during this visit did I think, "Well, this is out of the ordinary. Is full hair color being applied to my hair?" Again, this was the same exact series of events that happened my last visit. I'm not going to call them back. My mediocre ("$210") hair cut and I just want to move on with our lives. But what bugs me is WHY they felt the need to call. They got their money.(I even tipped. I'm not a monster.) They were rude enough to cement the fact that I was never coming back, so they certainly weren't trying to salvage my business. Which leaves only the possibility they were still stewing over me questioning the pricing, and they just wanted the last word. Holy crap. I mean, it already ruined my special day out. Why are you contacting me MORE? Stop, please. Just stop. Stop. Thank you. read more

C C Beauty Bar is absolutely amazing. It is the only spa I have found where all services are 5 star. Let me start with Carly who does skincare and nails. She is amazing. She does skin peels which have made my skin look better then it ever has. Her manicures and pedicures are also wonderful. Next, there is Joanna, my hair stylist. My hair color has never looked better. She listens to me which I so value. She also put extensions in which were fabulous. I also had my eyebrows micro bladed which was amazing. I also had my makeup done for a party and it was the best application I ever had. This place is a gem. It is a high end luxury spa in a small town. I feel so lucky to have found it. JoAnna was right there and ready to take me, so I didn't have to wait at all. She took the time to really consult with me so she knew exactly what I wanted.
