I explained kindly the details of what I would like for this next cut, and that I would bring a photo also. She never responded, and instead canceled my appointment without telling me. When I called the salon to ask why I hadn't received an appointment confirmation, they were very short with me about it, and told me that Alicia felt like she wasn't "the right fit." They never apologized for the inconvenience, or even tried to get me with another stylist. I was very upset about the situation, and confused also, as I had loved my previous haircuts and had recommended Alicia's services to others, and spoken highly of her and the salon. I do appreciate that the owner was always willing to make things right, which says a lot about their commitment to customer service. Unfortunately, I reached a point where I couldn't continue trusting that I would leave happy. My biggest frustration was with the lack of professional accountability from some stylists. If a result doesn't look good, it should be acknowledged and addressed rather than pretending everything is fine.
