I understand the business , I too was a stylist in Enfield for many years. I had told the stylist about my upcoming brain surgery, not sure if she remembered, but I had to cancel my rescheduled appt as well. I apologized, and was told she could not afford another cancellation. I felt I could not make a appt in the future. . My bill for the services plus the buying of retail products was a shock, 400.00. Did not know what to expect, just knew I wanted my hair colored and cut and shaped into a short bob. The stylist was running about 15 minutes late when I got there on time, but did not realize she had another client that was taking a substantial amount of time to bleach out some old color and then to apply new color. Needless to say, a color and cut took over 3 1/2 hours! It would have been appreciated if there was an "I'm sorry for running behind", but there was no acknowledgement of how late she was running. Very disappointed in the cut which was not tapered nor short enough. The color was ok, nothing that can't be fixed somewhere else. I'll probably find a salon now, rather than waiting when another color is needed to get the hair cut I wish I had received. I had a feeling when I walked in and wasn't greeted that I wouldn't be happy. Wish I listened to that feeling!

During the process you could tell how much precision was put into the layering. Left the salon feeling really confident about my hair! Will most likely be returning for my next haircut.

WORST EXPERIENCE!!…read more First off, I want to say that the girl who did my hair and the other girls who helped were very sweet. However, my experience with the manager, Ashley N., was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. As seen in pic 1, my hair was a pretty neutral/cool medium brown, which I had done myself at home. I was actually very happy with my hair color. My roots were just growing out, so I went to the salon specifically because I wanted my roots done to match the rest of my hair. When I went in, they bleached my roots and toned my entire head. Unfortunately, my hair came out very uneven, patchy, darker than I wanted, and much warmer than my original color, as seen in pics 2 and 3. I went back to the salon to have it fixed because I was obviously very unhappy with the result. Unfortunately, I still left with uneven color and a dark red-brown/chocolate color, as seen in pics 4 and 5. I was extremely upset because I had already been happy with my hair when I came in. I paid a lot of money for this service, and then I also had to take additional time out of my schedule to go back and have it fixed, only to still leave unhappy with the result. I did call the salon to ask for a refund, but the manager, Ashley N., repeatedly told me that the outcome was essentially my fault and that they had done "the best they could." If they felt they couldn't get my hair to the color I wanted, I wish they would have just been honest with me about that before doing all of these additional things to my hair. Instead, my hair went from a color I was already happy with to the red/chocolate brown color it is now. I even specifically asked the manager if she thought my hair looked cool or warm toned, and she told me, "I think it looks pretty cool toned." Looking at pics 4 and 5, I personally don't think the result looks cool toned at all. It looks noticeably warm and red compared to the color I originally came in with. When I asked the manager for a refund, she told me, "I can't give you a refund. I think it's best if we both just move on from this situation."

Your job is to do what is asked of you by the customer not what you want to do. With that being said, the woman who did my hair fried it, I have fine hair, you don't get to rip it out, she literally pulled the comb though the knots she created, anyone with common sense knows you don't do that, even after conditioning my hair it felt dry and fried, she was extremely rough and couldn't tell that I was getting madder each pull of my head. If this is how paying customers are treated you do not belong in business, and the hairdresser should be fried or retrained, but in my opinion she doesn't belong as a hairdresser. I will never ever go back, she didn't even cut or style it as requested. Very poor service and quality, I guess you get what you pay for.
