I am not a tiny gal…read more Not a single soul has ever described me as petite or waiflike. So, the fact that I'm such a massage wimp is baffling, even to me. But, don't make me lie to you - that's exactly what I am. My first massage experience ended so horrifically I've been very hesitant to try a second time. However, as I'm preparing to run my first half marathon this weekend, and my legs have been feeling a bit sore, I decided it might do me some good to try again. After a little research, I found Therapeutic Solutions in Windsor. They had an informative website, fairly decent prices, and they scheduled me the same day I called. All good things. I arrived, filled out the pre-requisite paperwork, then met my masseuse David - from the start he was incredibly professional. Asking relevant questions about my health history and experience with massage to-date. I was able to explain to him my preferences and he confirmed exactly what I was looking for before he got started. He then checked in with me a few times throughout the session to ensure I wasn't feeling any pain, and that I was comfortable. The hour proved extremely relaxing and I left pleasantly loose and more importantly, pain free. My faith in massage has been restored!

I asked for the 30 minute Swedish massage, and they were able to fit me into the schedule the same day. When I first arrived, my first impressions were that the space was on the small side, but it was cozy nonetheless and very clean. I ended up getting massaged by Jaqcueline, the owner. She was super nice, and I left feeling like a million bucks. She managed to do a little of everything (my face, neck, arms, shoulders, and back) in such a small period of time. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth. I thought the pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely return!

Amber is an awesome esthetician! I was in the market to get some peeling done on this face of mine…read more I had a wedding that was coming up and per my wedding checklist; I needed to get some facials in a few months prior to that big day! I have had peels before and I was in seeking out spas that had packages, because I know for a fact, one does not do the trick and you need to do a series of chemical peels to get that amazing glow! This happened to be the spot for me. They had a special going where you buy 3 peels and you get the fourth free. So I called and made an appointment with Amber. I had laugh lines and crow's feet that I was rather concerned about and I wanted to get rid of some acne that I had going on. Come on, I am in my thirties, why do I still have acne? Darn hormones!!! Amber suggested that I get ten peels done at a rate of one a week until the week before my wedding, and then do one monthly. Her suggestion worked out perfectly, as well as the different home remedies that she suggested. My makeup feels like it goes on much more smoothly, I also feel as if my skin is glowing again! For awhile, I just felt like there was no way to get that glow, and now I have it! I feel much more comfortable in my skin! Amber is absolutely awesome! I totally recommend her!!! I liked her so much that I booked a gentleman's facial for the hubby and he also felt the same way! Hopefully he doesn't get addicted like me, we would probably go broke! LOL.
