It's been awhile since I posted a review is C.S. Nails. Guess what? They're still wonderful! Clean environment, they have everyone wash their hands upon arrival. Disinfect the spa after every customer. Atmosphere is nice too. Soft music in the background, two large TV's, each turned to a different station, with subtitles on if you're interested in following the show. First and foremost though, they are meticulous. I almost wanted to say, "That's good enough, it's only my toes." The technician took such great care in getting it just right. Lovely leg and foot massage as well. But wait, there's more! As you sit waiting for your nails to dry there is a bonus shoulder massage as well. Honestly, there have been times when I have received 3 different massages! Monica, an owner, is so welcoming also. She makes you feel like their best customer, even if you haven't been in for awhile. They simply nail manicures and pedicures. (Found out today you can get a gel pedicure. I didn't know that. I have been going here for years just for pedicures. My last two times were awful!!! Saturday July 18 2026 I went with my girlfriend and was so rushed. I flinched a couple times because the girl dug so hard on the side of my toes. My toe nails are uneven and very short. I'm so disappointed! The polish is not shiny either. Decided to treat myself today and so glad I chose CS Nails & Spa for my pedicure! My friends recommended it and it did not disappoint. Super clean, great Covid protocol and friendly staff. Relaxing massage chair for the massage, and awesome neck and shoulder massage during drying portion of the service. My nails came out perfect and the pain and stress from running melted away and went down the drain with the tub water. They are doing a great job of taking care of customers and going the extra mile to keep everyone safe and healthy during these pandemic times. Reasonable rates, only $32 for everything. I will definitely be back. You can book an appointment in advance or you may get lucky like me and call ahead shortly before coming in. Check them out, you will be glad you did!!! read more

This is my second time going to this place; however, this is my mother's go to nail salon. Right before New Years's Eve, I thought it would be impossible to get 2 appointments; however, they were able to find a spot for my mother and I at the same time. Environment: Upon arrival were were welcomed into the cozy, but beautiful salon. Wonderful, but not overpowering music was placing and they TVs played either the food network or HGTV (fun channels to space out to and watch while getting your nails done). All the staff was smiling and seemed professional & friendly. Services: My mother and I had just wanted to do manicures - normal for my mom and a gel one for me. They had ample color choices and were open to a customer bringing their own nail color. For frequent customers they have a wall which houses bins to keep nail supplies and a running list of past colors and services. All of the tools that they used were clean and sterilized. My nail technician, Monica, was one of the most attentive technicians I've had. I love getting French tip gel and she made sure to pay attention to my desired nail length and white tip length (I like the tip a little thinner than most). She was very detailed oriented and made sure to make everything perfect. After my manicure, she gave my a shoulder massage - omg shes magic! Overall a wonderful experience here. Great detailed work and a relaxing environment. Also, the manicure and pedicures that they do are very lasting! No issues getting the gel to last for 2 week and a regular manicure about a week. read more

Had my first pedicure at C.S. Nails today. Two months back I had a pedi at a place in Enfield people raved about and was super disappointed and paid a ton! I had seen C.S. nails recommended on the Ellington Friends page so I gave it a go! Called yesterday and got the appointment I wanted for today. The spa was very clean. Staff was quiet but friendly. It was 32$ before tip for a very nice pedicure. It took about an hour excluding drying time. He worked very hard to perfect the polish job which some places just don't. It included a leg/foot massage, nice lotions and scrubs, hot towels, and a shoulder massage while drying. Very pleased and will 100% utilize this as my new spot. read more

I have been a regular here for over a year and I am so happy to have found my favorite nail salon in the area. It's extremely clean, they have great COVID protocol, a relaxing atmosphere with soothing music, and 1-2 neck and shoulder massages included with your manicure during service. I have been consistently happy with the outcome of my nails. They have a great selection of colors (gel and regular) and get new seasonal things in all the time! After you go for a while, they start to know you by name. Definitely recommend calling in advance as they're usually busy, especially in the afternoons! This is my second time coming here. First time they did so bad on my sister full set she didn't have the lady paint them and she came back for them to be taken off. Sarah did great on my nails the first time. Then I called 2 weeks ahead for us to get pedicures with Sarah and lili and then we get there and Sarah doesn't work there anymore. Okay fine but then instead of lili we got Yuma even tho lili was working. Then they start doing my toes and they don't start my sisters toes for another 15-20 mins. This place is a mess. I come here with my mom whenever a holiday or special occasion is coming and I love it! The staff is very thoughtful and thorough when they were doing my nails. The last time I went in I had July and she was very good at making sure everything was done! The owner remembers regular customers' names!!! I will never go back there again. Everything is clean and nice atmosphere however horrible service. I went there for the first time for a gel manicure. The workers did not realize I understood and spoke their native language. I was looking for a certain color "Cajun shrimp" but it wasn't on the wall so I asked for it. And so began the comments in their native language. They were making comments such as: we can't help her, I don't know what she's looking for etc. Then another client spoke up and said she had it. After the employee filed my nails, a frequent customer walked in and the owner told him to let me wait and take the other customer first. Then the owner took over after having me wait ~15 min for her to finish with her other customer. While she was doing my nails her other frequent customer walked in and started rushing through my nails. They did give me a light back massage while she was finishing my nails. I've had my nails done enough to know that they usually do the same thing to both hands. She put the warm towel on my left hand and lotion but never my right hand and told me I was done. The man giving me my back massage saw that and said "you didn't do the other hand." (In their native language) and she said "it's ok we don't have to." The other employee repeated this twice to her but she didn't care. And she continued to rush over to her "favorite" customers. I paid and went out to my car and decided never to go there again. But then I looked at my nails and saw a black thread glued to one of my nails that I could not remove on my own. I reluctantly went back inside and asked them to fix it, and they did. This is probably a great salon if you are a favorite frequent customer. They need to watch what they say in front of their customers (even in their native language). I'm truly disgusted at the service and lack of work ethic at this place. read more

Place is clean and they do good work when they aren't rushing. I usually come on a 2-4 week schedule depending on how my feet are. Today I wasn't even in the chair for 20 min and the guy said i was done. I usually upgrade my pedicures so it's not just a basic pedicure so I get the longer massage and whatever else they do. Today he didn't say a word or ask what I wanted and was clearly in a rush. If you didn't have time to do a proper job then ask me to come back or a different day. Total waste of $37!! Glad I didn't get the more expensive one after all I would have wasted more money. I will go elsewhere that want my money and does a good job without the rush!!! read more

I recently moved into town and visited this location. They quoted me $49 for a basic nail fill because "we use non toxic materials". The location I regularly visited in the next town over (South Windsor) charges $30 for a French nail fill. Found this place to be overpriced. I chose to over-pay. read more

I love it here! It is immaculate and warm. You feel as if you are in a big city, high priced salon! The service is wonderful and the nails are always great! They accommodate large parties and made my daughter and her wedding party look awesome! They also allow you to bring in cakes and other things you might want for a special occasion. First walking in it seems great. I always get gel on my toes because it lasts longer(not here). Here they wrapped it in foil then didn't wait long enough and started filing it off which hurt like hell and cut me up. 25 minutes the gel still wasn't all gone and I tried to say that but they couldn't understand what I was saying. Finally the owner took over and she was cutting my cuticles and took too much and I started bleeding everywhere! My toes are all cut up & hurt. Not to mention I had my own box there, but they weren't using the tools from it, but from somewhere else. I would never suggest this place to anyone!!!! read more

I made an appointment for a gel manicure today. When I arrived it was pretty busy. I was early for my appointment but was taken within 5 minutes of arriving. I decided I wanted to get artificial nail enhancements and the technician left me to speak with the owner. Then another technician came over and started filing my nails down. The owner came over and seemed upset that I wanted longer nails and told me it would be $90 for a full set! $30 for a basic manicure with gel polish. $90 seemed outrageous and I felt like they were trying to talk me out of it. So I just got the gel polish. The entire service was rushed. My nails are square when i asked for round, some edges are sharper while others are rounded. And my nails were filed way to short. I have never gotten a manicure and not had to wash the dust off of my hands. But here, she just painted over my dirty nails. Needless to say, the paint job is horrible. One side of one nail isn't even painted. There are bubbles in the paint and it's lumpy looking. I am in the beauty industry myself, so I hate to complain, but I take issue with a business that does not care about the quality of their work. Would not recommend this place. read more
