They wear gloves and line the foot baths with plastic which I love and is sanitary. They had an amazing variety of nail polishes. The deluxe pedicure was amazing. It was about 45 min and it didn't feel rushed at all at any point. She removed calluses that have been there for years and haven't been removed by other nail spa visits to other places. I didn't really pay much attention to it at the time, but when I arrived home, I noticed that there were a few missed spots on my inner thigh and other lady parts . Checking out I was offered to purchase a bunch of different options for wax passes for one or three of the services that I just gotten and I felt bad that the receptionist did all of the work out to offer several different kinds of payment plans declined as I always do at EWC - like most people I don't go in for a $60 wax and just casually drop 900 bucks on a year worth of waxes that's some thing that I deliberately purchase and don't need to be asked every single time I get a wax. I wasn't even annoyed and even thanked her for doing the work, but she simply shook her head and checked out. It's such a cute spot. You're 1:1 with Susan who is incredibly personable and there's never an awkward silence. She educates you about your skin and makes you part of the choices. She sells all the products she uses so that if you really love something, you have the opportunity to bring it home with you! For 35$ and an hour of time I had my brows waxed, and shaped. They were ratchet and long overdue. She taught me how to fill them in with the perfect eye pencil. This all included a hand treatment which was lovely. With the little extra time she had she applied her matte mineral powder to my face which literally took away all my redness and applied mascara and eyeliner for me! I felt SO beautiful when I left there and I was SO happy that I was able to purchase that matte powder to take home. I will never go anywhere else ever again for my brows. My mom and I were looking for a new nail salon. This place had 4 stars and I can definitely see…read morewhy. Salon was clean and they had a beach/vacation video playing with claming music. Everyone was very sweet. Something to note though, theres currently only 3 people working; as they just re-opened. Walk-ins may be a little hard to do, so I suggest making an appointment like my mom and I did. While getting my nails done, there's a couple things I want to note so I made a list. - Before they were ready for us, they sat us down and asked if we wanted some water. I have never been asked if I wanted water. It was very sweet of them to ask while we were waiting. - I was nicked with the drill. She immediately asked if I was okay and apologized. I don't see this as a big deal but if this is something that is to you, just be aware. I was also shaking my leg so it may also just be on me. - While painting the stars on my nails, she really took the time to make them as good as she could. She restarted if she thought it didn't look right. I appreciate the effort and time she took to make sure my nails came out as good as she could make them. - I read about free shoulder massages in the reviews and I thought there was no way they did that, but while my hands were drying for the final time, she came around and did my shoulders. It was a solid one too, she really put effort into that aswell. - After my hands were dried, she put on oil and lotion and i also got a little hand massage too. Nice little surprise, definitely wasn't expecting a hand massage as well as a shoulder massage. I will note there were other people while my mom and I were there and the two ladies bounced between people, making sure everyone is getting tended to, they definitely work hard. If you like having the same person throughout the appointment, I would wait until they hire more people to go. I myself don't see this as a problem. I'll definitely be returning, my mom and I found our favorite nail place. Definitely would recommend.
