Messy! Garbage and boxes everywhere! Clean the place up! So dirty! I don't understand how they think all the junk in the fireplace is nice to look at when you're being pampered and trying to relax. Went to Annie's for an emergency fix after getting bad acrylics at another place. Ting was able to reshape and fix my nails to exactly what I wanted, and have been coming back ever since. Pedicures are great as well. Staff is all friendly and will give you exactly what you are asking for. Appointments are easy to get. My first experience was not good. So I gave them a 2nd try for a Pedi. Waited 20 minutes for my appointment. Salon decor is old & looks dirty. Way too busy, was not relaxing with all the hustling & rushing. My Nail tech did do good job, hence the one star. Not going back. read more

I am not a typical customer of a nail salon, but my doctor suggested a manicure to help me stop biting my nails. So I said why not? I called and booked for a specific day and she got me in right at opening that day. I opted for a mani-pedi (to treat myself while I was already there), and the foot and shoulder massages they gave were an amazing addition! The massages were better than at an actual masseuse! Went here with friends for manicures. Two stars are for ease of getting an appointment - experience was pretty subpar. Towels were so hot they felt like they were burning my hands off, technician was BRUTAL on my cuticles to the point of pain, and a week later my cuticles are getting inflamed. My friends' gel mani started chipping within a few days, something we haven't experienced at other Glastonbury nail salons. Definitely a pass for me in the future. read more

We got manicures and pedicures here the day before my wedding with the bridal party. The entire staff was incredibly nice and reserved pedicure chairs for us next to each other, the place was super clean and they required face masks still which made us very comfortable since it is a small space and there were a lot of people. It's been 5 days since our manicures and the regular polish still looks absolutely perfect. read more

First time visiting this salon, and I won't be coming back. The nail tech cut two of my cuticles with the drill, broke skin leaving the area inflamed and infected, did not apologize or even realize she did it. I also paid an extra $20 for a design that looked nothing like the picture I showed and was very poorly done. This place was recommended to be but I would not recommend. read more

I've been to Annie's Nails salon several times as well as other salon's for pedicures. mostly. My recent pedicure was most disappointing. I had to wait 15 minutes past my appointment time, which wasn't a big deal. My problem was with the technician who did the pedicure. He was very rude and unprofessional. He was commenting, I believe, on my feet and looked afraid to clip my nails. I'd been there approximately 8 weeks prior for a pedicure, so it's not as if I don't take care of my feet. He was making grunting sounds as he was clipping one of my nails, leaning away like a grenade was about to detonate! He laughed with the technician next to him and then got up to get a file of some sort. I felt embarrassed as he made me feel like a freak. I've never had anyone act so unprofessional or make comments about my feet! I couldn't help but think of the Seinfeld episode when Elaine believes the techs are making fun of her! I'm hesitant to return to this salon, but if I do, I'll be sure to not have Jason! There are plenty of other salons where I can spend my money. This experience was not the relaxing one I'm used to when I go for a pedicure. read more

I made an appointment in the morning for a pedi for 2. We arrived right on time and were welcomed warmly and seated immediately. They asked what we wanted and we used their catalog to determine our needs. My tech was polite and courteous. She even tried to talk me down from a service offering based on the condition of my feet. Me and my partner both received good service in a nice environment. My feet look and feel great. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is that the prices are slightly high. I don't understand the great reviews of this place since I have never had a worse experience getting a pedicure in my life. For 32$ for a "basic" pedicure it's pretty expensive. Don't know if they offer points for pedicures or anything like that cause my pedicurist didn't let me know. She was actually the worst. I've never not given a tip but I didn't leave a tip and I don't feel bad. My pedicure lasted a full 20 minutes no lie. Start to finish 20 minutes. I barely got a massage on my legs, she used a cold towel to wipe my legs, she did a crappy job painting my nails... looked like I gave my 2 year old nail polish and asked her to do it. Also I noticed everyone else got a back massage but me at the end of their pedicure. Tiffany literally forgot about me. This was my first time here and it will be my last. I tried this salon last Friday because it's near my house and I thought why not? I walked and and the woman kindly asked me if I had an appointment which I did not. I had not realized I needed one. I apologized and told her I would come back. She said no don't do that we can work it out. They took me within 10 minutes. I wasn't even thinking it was prom season. Even though they were super busy they still took me and gave me a phenomenal gel manicure. All the ladies in there were so friendly and the salon is absolutely gorgeous. Absolutely lovely experience. Two friends and I decided to get pedicures on a day off. The massage chairs felt glorious, the staff took their time (regular spa pedicure took approximately half an hour), friendly conversation, and I felt super relaxed before they even started polishing my nails. I got the regular spa pedicure and they placed my heels in little bags of warm wax after and they made my heels feel butter soft! Beautiful salon..no doubt about it. They probably have some great services but do not go here if you are looking for acrylic nails. Very slow and the tips not properly fitted. They were not buffed properly and are all scratchy looking. Two have broken in less than a week. I guess when the owner asked me why not get gel I should have taken the hint. me and my sister got the extension with the uv gel (basically acrylics) mine came out beautifully though it was very very painful getting my nails done. Yes sometimes it can hurt while buffing or filing etc, this was worse pain than you should feel. On the other hand my sister asked for white with silver glitter and showed the guy both the polish bottles she wanted. She somehow ended up with pink nails??? She did not ask for that. and her nails came out extremely bumpy and her pinky's were bleeding. It also took over an hour, I just got a fill and it still took over an hour. I've gone here for years and decided to go back when I was home for the holidays. It was a great pedicure. It was very relaxing and she definitely took her time. My manicure on the other end wasn't as great. While cleaning up my cuticles he made two of my fingers bleed. They still are sore and have blood around the cuticle and it's been over a week. My nails do look great, other than the blood around the cuticle. My only other complaint is that I was there for two and a half hours. I didn't have anywhere else to be, but I'm not used to being at a nail salon for two and a half hours for a manicure and pedicure. It was a little long for me. Everyone that works at Annie's are very nice and professional. They were completely booked the entire time I was there so they're definitely doing something right. I highly recommend making an appointment if you're planning on going in because it is very busy. read more
