This was the worst pedicure I've ever had. I've been to a number of different places in this state and I was completely shocked at how this place did not care, didn't take time and I left looking like a child did my toenails. The nail technician, Kim, completely rushed my pedicure. She used nail clippers to cut down my nails but then never filed them to get them even or to get rid of the rough edges. Cuticles were not trimmed or pushed back, no paraffin wax or hot stone massage with a basic pedicure as is the case with most other places. A very quick scrub of my feet without any attention to calluses. Polish was applied quickly and unevenly with many spots of polish left on my skin. I am beyond disappointed because I work very hard for my money and when I treat myself to a pedicure, it is my time to relax and catch up with a friend. $28 went right out the window. I didn't even want to complain to them because watching how they were with us as customers, they clearly don't care. If it wasn't for our usual place in Wethersfield being closed today, this would have never happened--I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Honestly don't waste your time here. I used to go here all the time until they started cheapening their services. The prices stayed the same but the services are not worth paying for. I paid $60 for a 'spa pedicure' that is supposed to come with a 20 min essential oils massage. Nope. I kept track of the time spent 'applying the oils' and it was 14 minutes. No massaging took place, just applying of the essential oils. Maybe spent 30 seconds in total applying the oil to my feet the rest was the front of my leg. The entire process took less than 40 minutes for a deluxe spa pedicure with 20 minute massage. Honestly I am just going to stick with New Noble nails in Rocky Hill. They actually take their time when doing pedicures, clean the nails, file, massage and paint nicely! I went home and had to remove sooo much polish off my toes. This place isn't clean as well. My daughter wanted acrylics on a Sunday, which was amazingly hard to find. My daughter got acrylics done by Mimi. She was running a few minutes late for our appointment, but nothing crazy. Mimi did a great job with my daughter's nails and she ended up doing my polish because she was the only one who knew how to do chrome powder. I am only saying three stars because of her. I was REALLY turned off by the woman who started my regular manicure. The tools were just loose in the drawer and had not been sanitized before she used them on me. She wanted to use the sander on the tops of my nails for a regular manicure and I had to insist that she stop. Even the filing left my nails uneven. I'm not sure why getting chrome powder turned my regular manicure into a UV gel manicure, which jacked the price up about $20. I wish someone had mentioned that. Not a good welcome from the beginning , I should have just walked out. Initially I said a gel fill , what I meant was gel COLOR and acrylic fill. Anyone I sat down she told me $35+tax for gel fill and gel color. I told her I want an acryllic fill and gel color. I had been previously for a pedicure and enjoyed the clean atmosphere and nice nail tech named Tee. This visit wasn't as great. I booked an appointed for a pedicure and gel manicure for 11am. They were late which wasn't a big deal to me. My pedicure was first and Tee did a great job as she did the previous time. My gel manicure was done by the female owner. I was surprised when she applied the gel and put my hand under the light because it burned. I told her I wasn't picky but really liked my cuticles to be neat and clean. She did a gel overlay which means I didn't get tips glued on, just gel over my natural short nails. $98+ dollars later I walked out with thick nails and total confusion on why I wasn't' satisfied with my nails. I asked about the sns procedure and the technician briefly answered my question. I decided to go ahead and give it a try (since I had done my own research before coming in). The nail technician was careful and detailed in her work. I also had a basic pedicure which consisted of a clean up, color, and hot towel placement. Nothing fancy but was suffice for what I needed. Super Nails & Spa 2 is still shiny and new so it may eventually lose some of its luster, but right now, this new nail shop/nail spa is wonderful! You are able to select various aromatherapy herbal mixtures for your pedicure which promise to alleviate an array of physical symptoms. I chose the migraine treatment and it was the best pedicure I have had in a long time. My feet and legs got scrubbed and massaged and pampered in every way imaginable. The treatment was not rushed which is what I appreciated the most. Nothing is worse than paying extra for pedicure add-ons then having them hastily applied. I went here two weeks ago for a dip powder MANICURE and was charged $35 to have my nail polish taken off, my finger nails buffed and the dip applied. I walked away with dry flaky cuticles, and a dip powder application that looked like I had tried it at home for the first time. Not only did I walk away from this place with a crap manicure and rushed service, it was also the first time I've ever had a bacterial infection in my nails from a nail salon. I soaked the dip powder off after just a week of having it on when I noticed the strange black discoloration forming on my nail bed. Consider yourself warned. read more

This is by far the worst place to get your nails done. I had acrylics tips and gel powder and I wanted them almond shape which was 60$ for nails that looked extremely bad. The utensils are not sterilized between customer use, extra money charged for the shape of the nails . At the end of the treatment they just slap oil on your nails and that is it. We just had them done 30 minutes ago and both of our sets, the polish already looks chipped in some spots, cuticles are a mess, polish feels bumpy, and it's not even dry! This is my absolute favorite nail & spa within a 15 minute drive from Manchester. The staff here is always welcoming and courteous. The salon itself is kept immaculately clean. All metal tools are sanitized and they use protective liners in the pedicure basins. All of the seating in the pedicure area is brand new and extremely comfortable. I get my gel manicures and pedicures done by Kim. She does impeccable work and is extremely detail-oriented. She listens to exactly what I am asking for and does it, ensuring I am satisfied. The prices are reasonable to me because I believe you get what you pay for. Last week, I had a gel fill, gel specialty manicure, organic lavender pedicure with 10 minute massage and a full set of single lash extensions and the total cost was around $250.00, which included $30.00 in gratuity (they let you tip on your credit card unlike other, cheaper places). My nails came out perfectly and the lashes are better than I have had done for more (full set, before tax is $100 and fills are $50 before tax). I have a lot of lashes and many places charge on a tier structure based on how many lashes you require. The pricing for lashes is set and doesn't not fluctuate based on sparse or full lashes. Gina did my lashes and she was swift, yet skilled. The result was natural looking lashes that are still fully intact a week in. I will happily drive the fifteen minutes there and pay a little more for the quality services provided by this salon. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a nail salon. They are more expensive then anywhere else around the area. They quoted us a different price then our friends who had just left. My nails are uneven and the polish does not cover the complete nail bed on 6 of my nails..I had to ask to have under nails cleaned she still used wrong tool and when I asked for the proper tool she said she didn't have it .... I was staring right at it. They never cleaned my daughters or washed her hands after they drilled ... My pedicure is disgusting they cut my nails so short and so uneven that I can not wear sandals or put on sneakers because of exposure of nail bed and my toes actually hurt. They told us $107 price we handed them cash plus a $10 tip and then as we tried to walk out she said you forgot tax??? Terrible experience. I went for a fill and had just started a new job. The cranberry color on the gel example was a TOTALLY different shade than what was being applied on my nails. You could see there was a different color than what was in the bottle dripping down the brush. The technician realized and asked if I minded I said I don't mind the color but that isn't what I asked for. She said she would have to charge me extra to fix the color even though it was not a fault of mine, so I kept the color. The next morning I woke up, washed my face, and looked down... MY NAILS WERE YELLOW. The brush was put into the wrong bottle and it was a color changing polish. I had to go to work with mustard yellow nails. Not worth the money spent. $35 for a dip manicure. however, this did not include anything other than having my nails filed, shaped, colored, and oil added at the end. I had a hard time choosing colors because there are so many. However, my tech let me know that the first color I chose would be $45 instead of $35. The dip powder was added to a small cup, which appeared dirty. Not sure if they actually clean them inbetween clients. The remaining powder was poured back into the original container. After my hands got oiled, my tech thanked me and told me that I could pay. No paraffin treatment, no hand massage, no back/shoulder massage. For $35, don't waste your money. read more
