When i walked into the room i could tell the white hygienic paper had already been used that was draped over the table because not only were there wrinkles in it but there were dark spots at the top where you rest your head, in the middle and down by where say your ankles would be. i concluded it could possibly be post wax oils(?) and frankly i almost walked right out the door because i was really grossed out but i was desperate since my regular lady who i have been going to for 20 years is on vacation. In hindsight yes i should have asked her to change the paper, and i didn't, so that's on me. But the point is i shouldn't have to ask, it should already be done.

Piper's studio was clean and welcoming, and she herself was very friendly and put me at ease. This was probably the least painful one I've ever had too. She uses a combination of strip and hard wax which (I feel) made it easier to get everything off. She is a true professional and clearly knows what she's doing. Jessica is my massage therapist and she always asks how the pressure is, which I really appreciate, since sometimes it's hard for me to speak up when I want something changed. She also remembers that I don't like the front of my neck touched and other little details. Her technique seems to be the perfect fit for me and she's the only person other than my partner I trust to touch me so I can really relax (and I'm the type of person who needs to really relax)! The receptionist and other staff I've met are really pleasant people.
