It's been a hot minute since I've reviewed anything on Yelp! but i feel so strongly about this i…read morecan't let it go. I visited EWC at the Glastonbury CT location this morning. They open at 8 and my appointment was 8:30. The secretary was lovely and the aesthetician was great. That's not my concern. When i walked into the room i could tell the white hygienic paper had already been used that was draped over the table because not only were there wrinkles in it but there were dark spots at the top where you rest your head, in the middle and down by where say your ankles would be. i concluded it could possibly be post wax oils(?) and frankly i almost walked right out the door because i was really grossed out but i was desperate since my regular lady who i have been going to for 20 years is on vacation. In hindsight yes i should have asked her to change the paper, and i didn't, so that's on me. But the point is i shouldn't have to ask, it should already be done.

HANNAH B.! THE S KNEES!…read more I'm several treatments in now and my only regret is not finding this spa (read: Hannah) sooner. From my first consultation, I felt like she really took the time to understand my skin and what I was hoping to improve, which meant a lot because dealing with problem skin can be SO frustrating and overwhelming. Also, shoutout for the honesty. I recently wanted to come back earlier than my already-scheduled facial because I just love how much improvement I see after each treatment, and she actually told me to wait because it was better for my skin I never feel like she's trying to sell me on more treatments or get me in more often than I need to be. She's really working with me to get my skin where I want it to be, and I trust her advice completely. My skin has improved so much since I started coming here. It feels smoother, healthier, and just overall so much better, and I've noticed a huge difference in how confident I feel about it. The spa is also beautiful, spotless, and everyone there is always so welcoming. I seriously wish I had found Hannah sooner. If you're struggling with your skin or just feel overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do, I can't recommend her enough.
