I told Chloe the water was too hot & she immediately started making it cooler. My comfort was her priority. I paid extra to have a 30 minute chair massage. I'll let you know how that goes, also. So, I finished with the chair massage & I know you're all waiting for me to tell you what I think. I Loved when she rubbed my head!!! Other than that the whole chair massage thing was meh. I came up to visit school for the weekend and needed to get my nails done so though I should come back here. I got powder French ombré done and it didn't come out the way I wanted them to unfortunately - but it is my fault because I didn't tell them that I was not happy with the final product. I saw ombré nails on the internet but I assume they are harder to do but my nails kind of look like clouds or snowflakes. I am giving this location 4 stars because the employees are super nice and very helpful. They cared a lot about what I had in mind for my nails - my nail technician spoke to other nail technicians to try to figure out the best base color for me and I appreciated the conversation we had. The price is a little steep for me, the powder cost $45 and $55 for French or two colors and I'm a little disappointed since I showed them a photo of what I wanted and my nails didn't come out like that but I am sure if I said something, they would have tried to fix them. I would surely return here because regardless of design, my nails are even and clean and everyone is extremely nice!

A bottle costs between $14-25 . For each bottle they use and charge customers $20 a piece to have gel polish. ONE bottle can cover 20to 40 manicures. 20x 20=400 30x 20=600 40x20=800 TAKE NOTE- That is how much they are making off an entire bottle (less what they paid) Sickening ! So that cost $70!

As someone who is not local to Connecticut, I took a chance on M Nail Spa. Immediately, I was horrified at the lack of care for basic hygiene and cleanliness. Their pedicure tubs were unsanitary. They do not put a plastic sheet over the pedicure tub and I saw them lazily scrub the tub for 2 seconds with a dirty sponge and then rinse it off with water for the next person. The water was also freezing and no jets were going? Not wanting to get athletes foot, but still wanting to get a pedicure, I didn't put my feet in the water. I tried to not make a big scene but ended up telling them why I didn't want to put my feet in after they kept urging me to put them in the water. The women working there did NOT like that and I felt judged and uncomfortable ever since that moment. The women had a real attitude problem and were giving me and my family side eye the entire time. After my lackluster, stressful, and bad pedicure, I waddled over to get my fingers done. I will give credit where credit is due, the woman who did my nails did it really well! I love my fingernails and the color is beautiful. Now here is where it really crashes and burns... after I paid and tipped $20.. the woman had the audacity to ask for more of a tip!! Yeah.. That didn't go down well. I recommend going somewhere else for your nails. They don't even do acrylics! Not only are they rude and unsanitary, they also are incredibly overpriced.
