Made an appt., the place was packed when i arrived. I waited then left. Lady came outside and called me back. I said, hey, when I asked for the appt., I asked if you were busy and I said i was flexible and could come another day. She apologized and assured me I could get seated right away. Sure, seared, soaking in foot bath for over 30 min. I endured it, its a good basic pedi, but I dont know why it was $60 when I asked for a basic pedi and gel change. There is a language barrier, too. Honestly, I'm glad they get the business, they dont need me. Can do good nails, they have enough clients to practice on. I can pass on the back rub and save that for a real masseuse. read more

1 week in and my nails are still perfect. I always go in to see Grace and she's always willing to accommodate and try anything I come up with. I already can't wait for my valentine nails. Our cuticles are red and and painful. Uneven thickness in application, couldn't not do the most SIMPLE design. It's more than a week out and my cuticles still stinging. First time visiting. Not sure they get many men in because they all looked surprised to see me. The regular pedicure $32 was what I wanted. I went with my wife to see if the treatment was any different. Everything was the same. They were good at offering additional services and letting you know the price. I had Jenny. She did a great job. Would recommend her. Very clean inside and smelled nice. Only the price difference in paying between cash or credit caught is off guard. My 11 year old wished for her nails to be done as a birthday gift. So after yelping a lot, I decided to go with Happy nails. She wanted long nails and I am not sure what they are so the staff had me explain different types and options but due to the language issue few things weren't very clear but once agreed on the selection, it went smooth. They took time and care to do them nice and well. I wasn't expecting it to be that pricey but with tips it came out to to be around 72$ - a little on the expensive side though for me . Was in Manchester for business and needed a mani bad. The reviews for this place were good so I figured I'd try them out. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Salon was clean & decorated nicely. Got a standard manicure it was $15 - not overpriced. The guy who did my nails spent a lot of time buffing and cleaning up my cuticles which was nice. Sometimes when you get a standard mani places try to get you out the door quick. This was not the case for this place. All in all I had a good experience! read more

This is the second time I've come to happy nails & spa (I came about a year ago while I was still enrolled in school) and I remembered my nails looking amazing after the nail technician was finished. I came up to visit school for the weekend and needed to get my nails done so though I should come back here. I got powder French ombré done and it didn't come out the way I wanted them to unfortunately - but it is my fault because I didn't tell them that I was not happy with the final product. I saw ombré nails on the internet but I assume they are harder to do but my nails kind of look like clouds or snowflakes. I am giving this location 4 stars because the employees are super nice and very helpful. They cared a lot about what I had in mind for my nails - my nail technician spoke to other nail technicians to try to figure out the best base color for me and I appreciated the conversation we had. The price is a little steep for me, the powder cost $45 and $55 for French or two colors and I'm a little disappointed since I showed them a photo of what I wanted and my nails didn't come out like that but I am sure if I said something, they would have tried to fix them. Randomly went to happy nails to get my tips removed. I was disappointed by the methods my tech took to take off the tips. Which was using a metro card and then pulling off. The follow up manicure was no better. I had a nice jacket on and my tech spilled the soap scrub on my jacket. I tried Happy Nails twice because of the great reviews and all the extras they provide. I do agree, the paraffin dip, massage, and extra little things they do are nice. The regular pedicure ($30) comes with hot stone massage, shoulder massage, and small callous removal. The regular manicure came with a parrafin dip and a very nice massage. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't find this salon that clean. Their tools were kept Ina drawer and not sterilized or in a cleaning solution. If you're removing skin tissue from my feet/hands I would like a sterilized instrument especially since I have experienced them taking off too much callous and drawing blood. I can only imagine the cross contamination that happens with these instruments. The biggest disapointment was that they rushed me out the door both times and my nails were not dry. The first time I blamed it on not getting the fast dry top coat so the second time I tried it and they still rushed me out the door and my nails got all messed up. I'm completely fine with waiting longer and having dry nails. So in conclusion, even though the extras are nice I believe I'll be finding a salon that is a little bit cleaner and who gives me enough time to dry my nails completely. If these two things hadn't been a problem, Happy Nails would be an ideal salon. read more

Stumbled upon Happy Nails when trying to get in a quick manicure before getting my son from school. I've been twice since then. My dip powder manicure lasts 3 weeks with no chips what so ever. They have a ton of colors to choose from. My tech had great attention to detail when doing my manicure (I wish I could remember her name). I went on a weekday but I would definitely suggest an appointment on a weekend. It was a little more expensive than the last place I was going to, $47, but it's worth it for the quality. I arrived around 4pm and they were very busy but I lucked out and didn't have to wait at all despite not having an appointment. I got a regular $30 pedicure done and paid an extra $10 for callous treatment. They have a variety of spa pedicures which include hot stones, reflexology, and more. Even though they were so busy and a bunch of people were waiting after I arrived, I never felt like they were rushing through people to get to the next. This was by far the best pedicure I've ever received. All of the technicians wear masks and gloves and they were cleaning all of the tubs after each use. I went with a nude color because I was attending a wedding and hadn't decided my outfit yet. My girlfriend and I made appointments, even though we are a few minutes late they still took us. They did a fabulous job, back rubs and hand scrub to wash the hands with was great. I was super happy with the results. Fast forward three weeks, and I went to another salon to get it removed and get a new manicure done. Their removal is fine, it was the new manicure that was horrible. I wish I hadn't gone to a new salon, I should've just gone back to happy nails. They did a great job the first time, I went to a different place out of convenience at the time, but I wish I hadn't. Happy nails is now my go to salon. I wish prices were a little more inexpensive, but the service is very good. So my feet are in the water she had already gotten to my cuticles and she asks "Do you want to pay an extra $10 for heel scrub Callus removal" I was in shock. $30 Pedicure usually INCLUDE callus removal. And if not let me know before I put my feet in the water don't up sell. I was pissed so I said you know what I'm not going to do my full set here. Just add the callus removal. Not that I couldn't afford it but it was the principal . I rather give my full set money to someone who appreciates it. So my pedi ended up being $47 and I was not giving them a dollar more. I chose this place solely because of the yelp reviews and it was awesome! My nail tech was very gentile with taking off my previous gel manicure and through the entire process. She did a great job without using a buffer and just a few different nail files. A few of my nails were splitting pretty low down and she did a great job of repairing them to make sure they would have a chance to grow out. Their colors selection for gel polish was great and it was a very relaxing environment. I also liked that there was the option to pay $3 extra to get a nail strengthening base coat.
