Yesterday would have been my third time at Bronze Effects. As I didn't remember what I had paid…read morefor my previous brow tinting, I checked their website for pricing prior to leaving for my appointment. The website said $20.00. I walked in for my appointment and was charged $25.00+tax. When I mentioned this to the receptionist, her answer was their website was out of date. The manager was on vacation and the person in charge said she could not change the $20.00 price as 'the website was out of date'. They would not honor the price listed. I left hoping my credit card charge will be voided. Poor business practices.

I told her they were uneven during the touchup appointment but they don't draw an outline to start. I needed a 2nd touchup because an area had scabbed and had to be refilled and at this point she told me I would probably even need a 3rd. And I did point out each time they still weren't even or the same shape. When I contacted them about the touchup, the tech's sister (the owner) said that there would be a charge for this since there should have only been one. I explained what I just said above and she said she would get back to me but she didn't. When I contacted them again the whole story changed to: they don't feel comfortable doing it; they can't keep adding strokes or it'll turn out a messy blob; I kept changing the brow shape every appointment; maybe I should go someplace else. My response was I was "changing" the shape to make them match; I wanted strokes added where there were none so that the brows would be the same; and was she going to reimburse me if she wanted me to go elsewhere. And why was she willing to do the touchup for a charge until I said I wouldn't pay for something they did wrong and needed to fix. They said it was a costly and timely procedure for them and even admitted the tech lacked the expertise. So apparently customer satisfaction or even business image is not high on their list. They have no idea of good customer service. I spent a lot of money poor service with poor attitude.
