A8. Purple Taro Milk Tea with Boba Cold
Dominique D.

Cool tea spot! Was in the mood for boba so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the taro milk tea and it was tasty. The inside has some room for seating and games if you come with friends. The service was great and I got recommendations for flavors. I'll stop by again when I'm in the mood for boba.

The best egg waffle, thunder agrees, just wish there is a Happy Lemon in New Jersey!

Brought my dog to visit Boston, we had the great Bubble tea and egg waffle from Happy Lemon in Jamiaca plains.

I felt the need to update this review as this location has really gone down hill in the last several months...there's usually only one worker in there, and when you arrive at their opening time you're told in a frustrated tone that there is no boba, no black tea, and no waffles because they just opened. Either they need to hire more workers, or they need to have their employees come in an hour earlier to prep the things that they're known for serving. Why would you open without having your basic staples prepared?

Mango matcha with boba

I have always loved Happy Lemon in California and the one location in the Downtown Mall. However, it's nice to see it expand! The mango matcha is my go-to and it's such an addicting taste. It's probably one of my favorite boba drinks in Boston hands-down. Just wish it were closer such as in Coolidge Corner. Maybe for the third Boston location?

Cute cozy bubble tea cafe. I had the strawberry black tea with lychee jelly. The tea was made with fresh strawberries which was nice touch.

Make sure to get there well before closing time because they are cleaning up and what not and don't make drinks.

Went to pick up a nice morning boba at 11:20 am and they were not open when they say their hours are 11 am - 9 pm. Very unhappy.

Sweet Sip definitely met our expectations that day. I got the dark and stormy milk tea which came with honey boba. It was interesting to see that you could add free toppings to your milk tea which you rarely see elsewhere. I added the passion fruit jelly and pudding. Unfortunately there were no options in the delivery app to adjust for sweetness or ice so we got the drink as is. It was very well made but was sweeter than I'd prefer (my sweetness level is 70%). However because our accompanying dinner was spicier than expected, the sweetness of the drink actually helped us! I also ordered the mochi eggpuff with pandan flavor. I'm not sure if I could taste the pandan but the eggpuff was delicious. Again, sweeter than I'd typically like but the texture was great - crunchy outside with a chewy mochi filling. We had leftovers and it heated up excellently the next day in our simple toaster oven. This was intended to be a fun add-on to our meal and turned out to be quite essential - glad we tried them out!

They have both bubble tea and frozen yogurt with plenty of topping choices. My favorite flavors are the mango, pineapple, and coconut. I love the fresh fruit and popping boba and mochi for the toppings. As with many froyo spots they charge by weight so depending on how much you loaded up would be the cost. I believe they also had 2 different size containers. In the past I remember my total being between $10-$15 so it can definitely add up! The owners also seem nice I think they tried offering a free milk tea that was made as a test for me and my friends that were hanging out in the space. Pho Le Restaurant is a Vietnamese restaurant in Dorchester's Little Saigon area that focuses on…read moretraditional Vietnamese dishes with a large menu covering everything from pho to noodles, rice dishes, and specialty items. We walked into a classic neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant with a straightforward, comfortable setup that makes it a reliable spot for a casual meal. The interior is modest and functional, the kind of place where the focus stays on the food rather than the decor, and the steady flow of regulars reflects its reputation as a local staple for authentic Vietnamese cooking. The pho is the main reason we would return. The broth has the kind of deep, comforting flavor that comes from slow simmering, and the combination of fresh herbs, tender meat, and well-cooked noodles makes each bowl feel complete. We also appreciated that the menu goes beyond pho, with dishes like bún bò Huế, vermicelli noodles, bánh xèo, and other Vietnamese specialties that give more variety depending on what you are craving. The bún bò Huế had a bold, spicy broth with a depth that stood out from the lighter pho, and the vermicelli bowls were fresh and well balanced, with grilled meats and pickled vegetables adding layers of texture and flavor. Some of the more specialty dishes stand out because they offer flavors that are harder to find at more general Vietnamese restaurants, giving you a reason to explore beyond the familiar. Service was friendly and the restaurant had a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. Parking and the busy area can be something to consider during peak times, but the overall experience feels casual and approachable. The restaurant is the type of place where you can come for a quick meal or bring a group and order several dishes to share, and the portions are generous enough that sharing works well across the table. Pho Le is a solid choice for Vietnamese food in the Boston area. The variety, comforting dishes, and traditional flavors make it a reliable spot, especially for pho and other classic Vietnamese favorites. It delivers a meal that feels both familiar and satisfying, the kind of dependable neighborhood stop that keeps people coming back for a warm, authentic bowl of soup or a more substantial Vietnamese meal.
