I've been waiting to try this spot for a long time. Let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. Taste on the majority of the donuts were the best I've tasted in the area. The donuts were fresh, airy, with a slight crispiness which came through even with frosting and glaze on top. The only reason why I had to deduct a star was because the texture of the boston creme was off. The donut tasted grainy for some reason..and I bought 3 of them! Overall a solid donut shop to try if you're in the area. This is a no-frills, locally owned small business - so don't expect anything more. The business is located in a small strip mall.

Still my go-to donut shop in town after 2 years. This place is super busy on Friday mornings, but that's a good sign these days, right? I notice a couple changes: 1) price has gone up slightly: 2) some small tables and chairs are added for people to eat breakfast inside. They were out of my favorite Maple Bacon bar due to the morning rush, but the female cashier was nice enough to make me one (by putting bacon bits on the maple bar). I'm pretty sure she gave me extra bacon. YAY!! Also got my hubby's favorite per his request, Apple Fritter. It was a bit oily today, but didn't stop me from eating a quarter of his on my way home. Also got a croissant for my baby, which was pretty big but nothing special. Tip: Bring cash to avoid credit card charge.

The donuts are average. The lady working is very friendly. Good selection. $23 a dozen.

I decided to give Happy Donuts another chance. I ordered the night before so the donuts would be delivered early and fresh to our door. I used Ubereats again, which the hand off delivery was fine, and arrived in time for breakfast. I did give them an extra star because not all of the donuts were bad, and they finally gave me the donuts I ordered correctly. Only reason they didn't deserve more stars, was because the main reason I ordered was for their chocolate French crullers. Four of us took a bite just to taste, because looking at the crullers, you can tell it was dry, and hardly any chocolate on top!!! I've had French crullers since the 80s from different states, mainly L.A. area. Here's what a French cruller is supposed to look like https://pin.it/1Z09QfR Happy Donuts, I gave you another chance via ubereats. You failed me!! I posted the latest photos. You can see what the chocolate French crullers looked like. My husband and kids were grossed out by the dry chocolate French crullers, with hardly any chocolate. Not sure I'm willing to give anymore chances :$

I first had these shortly after moving to Seattle. One of my coworkers brought us a dozen and they were very good. They are very fresh and soft. They also do not have that super sugary taste like some donuts. These are well balanced. I like the Bavarian ones, but do think they could use more custard. The raspberry filled one is delicious also. I recently tried the apple fritter and that was yummy. I warmed mine for 20 seconds in the microwave and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for some good donuts. They have all of the basic flavors/varieties that you could think of. They will last about 2 days if wrapped up properly, but will vary based on your temperature inside your home. The employee was very nice and was wearing their mask as it should be worn.

Straight up Im in love with Happy Donuts. I happened to walk in right when the maple bars came out and let me tell you. I felt instant happiness. The apple fritters also top tier. The lady who gave me donuts was so kind and I was in and out in less than 3 minutes even with a small line. I would eat these any day over a Safeway donut and I highly encourage you to go if you're in the area.

This is a little Moms & Pops donut shop. There isn't a big variety however they are delicious. I would hands down stop here first before considering stopping at a grocery store for donuts. They are very friendly, patient and helpful. My daughter isn't a big cake fan and loves donuts so I decided to stop by so I can make her a donut tower in the afternoon as her birthday so call cake. I usually stop by early morning before work (6am) so usually they aren't crazy busy then and there's a variety still available. They also have coffee and drinks available. Their donut holes are also delicious, they are my children's favorite. You can stop by or sit if you choose. They have a few tables and chairs available.

Truly a happy boy ._.

I've been wanting to try this place & finally went today. They have a large selection of donuts +…read morecinnamon rolls and also offer savory options that you could heat up: breakfast burritos, sausage rolls, empanadas, etc. I ordered a classic maple bar and what I thought was a pistachio donut (I asked and the employee confirmed it was pistachio). When I got home it was actually a full on blueberry donut inside with green frosting on top. I'm not a fan of blueberry baked goods so that was disappointing. The empanada somewhat made up for it. I got the Chilean pino since that was the only flavor left. I had never heard of the flavor (and neither did the employee). It was delicious...but over toasted. Next time I will just heat up the empanada at home to avoid this. I would return for the empanadas. It would be nice if the donuts had signage for the flavors and/or if the employees were knowledgeable on what they are selling so customers like myself don't go home with mystery flavors!

Crown Donuts - Maple Valley, WA…read more I stopped in and grabbed a half dozen and honestly... every single one hit. What I picked: 3 blueberry cake donuts 2 Fruity Pebbles raised donuts with white icing 1 cinnamon sugar twist The verdict: The blueberry cake donuts were fantastic. Not dry. Not crumbly. Not overly sweet. Just soft, balanced, and exactly what a cake donut should be. The Fruity Pebbles raised donut with white icing though? Exceptional. Light, fluffy, perfectly iced, and nostalgic in the best way. The kind of donut where you take a bite and immediately look back at the box like... okay, who's next? The cinnamon sugar twist was classic and comforting. Fresh, generously coated, and exactly what you want from a simple donut done right. Bonus points: The atmosphere was great. Bright, welcoming, and unhurried. The short-term parking out front made popping in easy (and felt brand new ), and the staff were kind enough to let me look-e-loo for a minute while I stood there happily overwhelmed by the choices. If you're in Maple Valley and craving donuts that are actually worth the stop, Crown Donuts is absolutely it. No gimmicks. Just really good donuts made well. Nothing like a sweet treat after a 500 + burn workout to refuel. No one is looking. Eat more donuts.

Got a couple glazed, couple blueberry cake, one cruller and dozen glazed donut holes. Didn't plan on eating them all in one day. The glazed donuts are heavier than I expected- hoping for light and airy but the blueberry cake donut tasted great the first and second day. The glazed and cruller the second day had really lost their glaze- it had become soaked in and watery. The donut holes also didn't have the same taste the day after. If they had retained their freshness for the second day it would have been 5 stars... doesn't seem crazy to keep donuts for a second day and that's when I can see the quality of the product if it retains it flavor as intended. I can see us coming back but we wouldn't buy as much bc we know second day how they'd taste. Also the blueberry cake donut was significantly smaller than the glazed one. Would be nice if they had uniform size.

A Sweet & Savory Morning Win!…read more Stopped by Lucky Donuts this morning and left with a box full of happiness--and maybe a little glaze on my fingers I treated myself to a French cruller, bacon maple bar, old-fashioned, and apple fritter--each one a little masterpiece. The French cruller was light, airy, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The bacon maple bar? Sweet, smoky, and totally addictive. Whoever invented this combo deserves a medal. The old-fashioned had that perfect nostalgic flavor with a lightly crisp edge. And the apple fritter--crispy outside, soft inside, with just the right amount of cinnamon-spiced apple chunks. The shop has this cozy, no-frills, classic donut shop feel that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff was quick and kind, and you can tell this is the kind of place locals have loved for years. Whether you're a donut fanatic or just need a pick-me-up, Lucky Donuts delivers the good vibes (and the sugar rush). I'll definitely be back!

But do not let the outside deceive you because the inside is filled with fresh baked donuts and they're so delicious. My partner judges donut places by the quality of their plain donuts, and this place did not disappoint. I would say our favorite donuts are the cake donuts of any kind and their glazed donuts. Everything just was very flavorful and delicious. And you cannot beat the price here. I'm glad I only get to come here once in a while (only when I come get my oil changed) because if I live close by this place would be very dangerous. Give them a shot! The family that owns his place is super friendly and nice and I'm happy to give them my business.
