I am a lover of Hong Kong style egg waffles (aka puffed waffles or puffles oro bubble waffle). They have a crispy exterior and a chewy almost creamy interior. I came across Puft when they were servicing the Issaquah Sports Medicine Combine last month. The owners of this food truck are Filipino, so you will see some filipino menu items. Today, the truck, worked by 2 other employees, was there as early as us 5k runners. When I saw them, I knew what my post-run meal would be! When I finished my run and was ready for some nosh, I came by and ordered the lumpia burger. The guys working today were very friendly. My burger came out shortly. I expressed surprise because I thought the bun was actually going to be a puffed waffle but they said sorry and explained the pan de sal bread is simply pressed in the waffle iron, and that they tried a waffle before but the pan de sal bread worked much better. I totally understood, said it was alright and I proceeded to eat the burger. At first it does not look like much, but the taste of the lumpia-style pork patty was delicious. There was also banana peppers or some other sweet relish on top that added to the overall flavor. The burger came with a side of coleslaw and 3 little lumpias, which I greatly appreciated. The coleslaw could use a little more flavor tweaking in the area of seasoning and tanginess, but was good enough (I am a coleslaw perfectionist ;P ) Later, the guys let me try a puffed waffle, which was so nice. The classic puffed waffle was so good, even by itself. It only needed a touch of the syrup it came with. I tipped the guys for the nice gesture. Give these guys a try if you see them around! Try something new like the lumpia burger! Get a waffle! It will be delicious!

I had the pleasure of this waffle truck at my work's business complex. I love it! The waffles are not too sweet and just perfect. The Seattle Dog is a good savory type of waffle. It has grilled onions, bacon, cream cheese and a hot dog. Better eat it fast though. I'm a very slow eater and the juices from the hot dog did make it soggy towards the end. The classic Bubble waffles are the go-to. Simple and delicious. Add as much powdered sugar as you want. I can't wait til the next time they're at the Times Square business center!

First time this food truck has come to my job. Pretty impressed. The prices seem high, but when i received my food I ate half and was still pretty full. Hopefully they become a regular on the schedule. But my coworker didnt gave a good experience. Sge said her food was burnt and she was missing her bacon from the order. With that being said, only 3 stars this round and hopefully they come back so she can get an opportunity to try again.

Delicious ube puff waffle. Coconut notes in the ice cream too. This was a sweet way to try a new flavor and we absolutely loved it. Do yourself a favor and also order a side of Lumpia, essentially Filipino egg rolls. Great food, great service. Thank you!

I can't say I enjoyed the service here. I ordered and ube bubble waffle and was expecting the one with ice cream. I received an ube bible waffle, however it was a plain one with no ice cream or jam. I'm disappointed, but I guess it was partially my fault for not clarifying that I wanted the deluxe ube bubble waffle. On the menu however, the one with ice cream is listed as "Ube Bubble Waffle" and when I ordered that, it apparently meant a plain ube waffle. The cashier wasn't the friendliest and I feel the wait was longer than expected. The waffle wasn't too bad and it was crispy, which is the only reason why I am giving two stars instead of one.

Really slow service. Food was good but they didn't seem to have it together. Forgot the egg, after I was asked how I wanted it.

Walking into the establishment it was well lit and the decor was simple but efficient. I was seated promptly and the menu and a glass of water so their after. It was a two sided menu, with a good variety for breakfast and lunch items too. I ordered breakfast. The service was consistent as my server did check on me and asked if I had any questions about the menu. I asked one and they were very polite explaining it. After my order showed up, I proceeded to eat it all. The combination of the eggs, tomatoes, bacon and cheese was equally satisfying and balanced. It was topped with Avocado slices ( slightly brown, but still good). The sourdough toast appeared to be from a freshly made loaf ( served with soft butter and raspberry jam) and the hash browns were cooked lightly. Overall this place will do well in this part of town. Yes, I would return again. Good service, good selection and great prices too!!

I will definitely be coming here again! There are a lot of options for food which can be a little overwhelming. However, it is VERY reasonably priced. $15 for a toast is wild but that's how cafes price things everywhere. However, other cafes smear some avocado on toast and add a tomato and charge you $15, here they give you a whole meal with an egg on top, cucumbers and tomatoes, avocado, and more. It actually feels like it's worth your money. The coffee is good even though it's not too unique. I feel like they used to be a specialty coffee shop before they turned to the crepe/cafe scene. The coffee was very sweet though so I would highly recommend getting it half sweet. The crepe is good, stuffed well and worth the price. It is obviously sweet as well so it's hard to drink a very sweet coffee with a sweet crepe. The barista was kind and helpful with any questions I had when ordering. There was gentleman with a disability ordering before me and the barista was very patient and kind when taking his order. Seems like they have good people working here, which plays a big role in atmosphere.

Since it was our first time there, we weren't familiar with the ordering process or menu. I didn't want to hold up the line trying to decide what to order, so I asked if we could sit down first and look over the menu. She cleaned off a table for us, but then told me I needed to hurry up and order because she didn't want other people getting upset about how long it would take me to decide. I didn't respond and simply waited until we were ready to order, which only took about four minutes. What confused and upset me was that shortly after, a white man came in and she told him he could sit down, take his time, and order whenever he was ready because "it's not busy." The difference in treatment was very noticeable and honestly made me uncomfortable as an African-American woman. Maybe this was a misunderstanding, but the interaction did not sit right with me. I believe every customer should be treated with the same patience and respect, especially first-time customers who are simply trying to understand how the restaurant works. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and does better moving forward. This needs to be addressed immediately not deleted

We were planning to come to Gig Harbor again very soon anyway and planned to come back here and eat. We were under the impression here that the restaurant served sandwiches but that is not correct. It is a waffle place in which you can get sweet and savory waffles. When I am at a waffle place and I have the choice of and I am hungry enough I will get a savory waffle and a sweet waffle. That was just such the case here and so sweet and savory waffles were ordered. I ordered the Blackout which was a sweet waffle with whipped cream cheese, jam and some powdered sugar. For the savory waffle I got the The Hilltop which was a chicken and waffle arrangement with breaded chicken, maple syrup drizzled on it and some powdered sugar. Both waffles were good! They are served kind of in a rolled up manner and not served flatly on plates so it makes them easy to become "to go" orders if that is your desire as well. But if you want to sit and relax the dining setting is nice and laid back.
