They did do an excellent job replacing the grass area. They didn't do a good job on the DG paved walk way, it's already cracks and when we told them about the crack, their responses is that's how it is and we can try to rake it. One last thing, they broke our electrical outlet cover. We told them about it, but they never come back to fix it. Plants: we told them that we would like to reuse some of our plants and that they would provide additional California native drought tolerant plants. We were not happy with what they provided. We paid them around $12k for the entire project and it's a lot of money. So it would be ideal if they could at least given us 5gal plants considering we are also reusing some of our plants already. Instead....We were given plants, but they were the ground cover types. they were so small, you can't see them. The mulch is covering everything because the plants were so small. They were like those small plants you get at home depot for 5 bucks. Honestly, we could have gotten the plants ourselves. And when we asked about the plants, they said the plants will grow. Yes, but it's not going to be big in like 3 years with the types of plants they gave us. They should have consulted with us on the plants they planned to provide or offer to switch out any plants we are not happy with. And because the contractor excavated our plants and let them sit out for a couples of week, they don't look very good when they were being replanted.

They do not stand behind their work…read more Spent over $23,000 on landscaping and construction services from this company less than 2 years ago, and have had terrible service from the moment final payment was made. When Brandon (my contact) told me which plants they intended to install, I told him some wouldn't survive the hot, dry, full-sun location. He insisted they would work, and told me they all had a one-year guarantee. Within three months, when they started to die, I sent him photos and asked that they be replaced with others. Despite promises they would be changed (at least six times over the next few months), they were never replaced. Likewise, the artificial turf that was installed was not installed with enough/the right adhesive and the turf has become a serious tripping hazard. Again, calls to Brandon were met with promises that someone would come out to fix it, and no one ever did. Repeated messages were not returned. Last month an obviously broken irrigation pipe under the tile/artificial turf they installed caused flooding in my yard. When I called the company to ask for someone to come out to evaluate what could be done, Jordan told me Brandon no longer worked for the company. (I guess that explains why my messages weren't returned.) Jordan told me he was Brandon's replacement, and that he would be out in two days to take a look. 10 days later, he came out and confirmed it was a broken pipe, but said my warranty had expired and there would be a charge to repair the pipe. He told me it would require the large tiles and turf to be demolished to find the problem, but he'd send me an estimate. It's been over a month and again, I've been ghosted. I consulted another irrigation specialist who told me that if a pipe underground ha broken, it was likely cracked when it was installed. I hope this serves as a warning for anyone considering paying this company to do landscaping and installation.

What made this project especially important to us was that we managed the entire job remotely from our home in Northern California. Danny made that process remarkably easy. He communicated consistently, answered every question thoroughly, sent frequent photos and videos, and kept us informed throughout the preparation and installation. We never felt out of the loop. The quality of the work was outstanding. Their team removed the existing decomposed granite, properly prepared and graded the area, installed and compacted a base, added the weed barrier, carefully laid and trimmed the turf around curved borders and existing stepping stones, secured the edges and seams, applied the upgraded zeolite infill, and power-broomed the finished surface. They clearly cared about the details--not just whether it looks good on installation day. Danny also stood out during the bidding process. We received several quotes, and he was transparent about the exact turf product, specifications, backing, base preparation, and infill options. He did not simply recommend the most expensive upgrade. Instead, he explained what he believed was the best balance of durability, appearance, and long-term value for a family rental property. That honesty gave us a great deal of confidence.
