Steve at Ireland Pools helped us with an urgent repair during the sale of our house. He was able to work quickly to find the section of pipe that was blocked by tree roots and repair a broken pipe. The quality of work is also top-notch. His pricing is very fair. Steve's communication is great and kept us updated while my wife and I were out of town. I will definitely be using Steve and his crew at Ireland Pools for a future pool renovation project! Thanks again, Steve. You are a life saver. read more

Steve and his guys were amazing. I needed an old spa heater replaced and he presented me with 3 options (different name brand heaters), with different price points, within just a few minutes of contacting him. Then his team came out the next morning and replaced the old heater with a new Pentair 250 heater. They were finished in less than 2 hours and left things cleaner than before they arrived. Plus Steve's prices couldn't be beat. He definitely has my future business! read more

Steve helped us with a tricky issue with our pool. We had a lot of vendors ghost us or quote unreasonable prices. He collaborated with us and respected our needs and budget and was a creative thinker and strategic partner. I felt safe with him and well respected. His team was great and really easy to work with. We love our pool and all the results, I couldn't ask for a better person or company to work with us. Highly recommend!!! read more

I would give 10 stars if I could. Steve and his crew were amazing. I needed my old pool heater and filter replaced. Everything works great AND they made everything look 1,000 times better. They delivered beyond my expectations. My family, friends, and pool serviceman all said "WOW" when they saw the new equipment and workmanship. I didn't even know pool equipment could look that good . I met with 3 other companies. I went with Steve because I could just tell that he was the most knowledgeable. I'm so glad I went with my intuition because I couldn't be happier. First off...I can't say enough about my recent pool repair experience with Steven, and his primary team Jaun and Jose. I was so nervous having my pool replastered and equipment replaced, based on all the horror stories I heard from friends with pools. However, that feeling quickly changed once I started working with Ireland Pools. From start to finish they did such a fantastic job with all aspects/phases of the work. Steven, and his team, were always available to answer any questions that I had, which were many, and he/they were able to communicate clearly in explaining to me each step in the process. I am happy to say the pool is complete, in record time, and I can't wait for the summer weather to go swimming! And since I was so happy with their work, I chose to continue working with Ireland pools by hiring him to maintain it as well. I highly recommend Ireland Pools! read more

I HIGHLY recommend this business. All the reviews are true. Steve responded lightening fast and fixed the problem the next. Pricing was super fair. He was honest about what we needed and didn't try to get us to buy things we didn't need like another service did. I'm so happy I found them!! Finally a great experience with a service business. read more

Called Steven and texted him photos of my old spa motor/pump to see if he could replace everything. He had all the answers and knew exactly what he was talking about just from the photos I sent him. He was able to do the maintenance and replace the motor/pump 2 days later. It all went smooth and took about an hour ands a half. He even painted my pipes so they look clean now. Everything works perfectly and I am very happy with the service from beginning to end. Thank you to Steven, Juan, and Ireland Pools! read more

I've GOT to tell you how impressed I am with the detail, quality and timing of Steve Ireland's pool and paver remodel. If you want to make sure everything is done right, this is where you want to be. My pool is about 30 years old. I could have gone with a cheaper quote - whose recommendations were bare minimum and did not include all the new pipes and electrical that were crucial. I was steered in the right direction by Steve/ and in fact he made some great custom creations we suggested. He's not afraid of hearing good ideas! I'm so glad my pool service man recommended him. He told me Steve Ireland is the only source he would go to for pool upgrades, remodels and pavers. DONT HESITATE CALL HIM read more

Like many others, we took bids from a bunch of other pool contractors when looking to remodel our pool and add new elements to our backyard. We were disappointed by most, who were unresponsive, or just seemingly unwilling to take on our project. Then we met Steve. What a difference right from the start! He spent lots of time with us as we juggled the many facets of our large project, and was attentive to our asks and changes along the way. His crew was always there and kept the project moving and on time. I'd recommend Steve to anyone looking to do a pool project large or small. We are quite simply over-joyed with the results! Steve gave me a quote via text after I sent him pictures of my equipment. He answered all my questions and explained everything he recommended. Price was fair and he provides quality equipment. Highly recommend them for any of your pool needs! read more

Ireland's pool services was everything I could have ever wanted and more. All the quality of the work was top notch, every detail was paid close attention to. Ireland's was very accommodating to changes we had during the process, able to work with our budget and get everything we wanted done. Everyone that was over to work in our backyard was really nice too and worked so hard thru the summer heat. It was such a fun process and I have no regrets on our outcome. If only I had another pool to remodel, what a great experience and outcome! Ireland's pool also beat the deadline and finished before our son was born and we were able to break in the backyard with a baby shower. Can't wait for our son to enjoy the wonderful backyard. Cheers to Ireland's pool for everything! read more

Steve just replaced our old pool heater. Super painless process. Quick communication and appointment, quoted via text with pics (and price didn't change), was prompt, price was reasonable compared to others we obtained. Would definitely call them again and will when the rest of our equipment goes out. Also able to discuss adding jacuzzi, so that was helpful as well. read more

I contacted several companies when my pool pump needed to be replaced. Ireland's Pool Service was very quick to respond, and continued to respond to follow up questions and recommendations even after letting me know that I'm a little outside of their service area. Per my request, they provided a quote to replace the pump and filter. They were competitively priced, and they followed up with me to provide available dates for installation in the event I wanted to move forward. The installation went smoothly and was completed in several hours. Once it was completed, the owner took the time to show me the features of the new pump and filter, and walked me through the process of downloading the app to sync/control the pump on my phone. Excellent service in every way. read more

If you're considering putting in that pool you've always dreamed of, or improving the one you already have, we cannot recommend Ireland Pools enough! We knew when we met Steve Ireland that he was our Pool Guy, nevertheless, we entertained an embarrassing number of bids....a HUGE waste of time. His prices are competitive, but reasonable, and he doesn't mess around with BS sales pitches. He really grasped the vision existing only in our heads....and his ideas and suggestions made them so much better, while doing everything possible to maintain our budget! Steve and his entire team were a lot of fun to work with, their attention to detail is exemplary, and, simply put, we really couldn't be happier. One of the smoothest construction projects we have done, with a beautiful finished product. Over the summer, we met and got bids from 5 pool builders, saying that while we were not doing the project right away, we would be once we were done using the pool for the summer. While Ireland Pools wasn't the lowest bid, it was fairly priced and we felt confident with Steve's ideas and suggestions. So we hired him to resurface, retile, split drains, and replace the lights. Selecting the color pebble and tile was tough with so many options, so Steve sent us down to the NPT showroom to look at things in person. Within a half hour, we had everything picked out, and ready to start our project. Unfortunately, right before we were about to start, the tile that we loved could not be found anywhere. Instead of pressuring us into other options, Steve made it his mission to track down the exact tile we wanted, and was able to find some in Colorado which he had shipped out the next day. All of the subcontractors were polite, and thorough. Steve was around every step of the way to check in, and keep us updated. He would let us know the night before who would be coming by and when. He wore a mask when talking to us and kept his distance, which surprisingly not many contractors do. Even with the delays waiting for the tile, we still finished on schedule and with a pool that is beautiful. It is exactly what we wanted, and exceeded our expectations. I only wish that we were in his area to have them service our pool as well. read more

I am very happy with the job and service from Ireland Pools. Our pool was over 30 years old and needed updating. We got several bids. Steve's was in the middle. I choose based on his communications and referral. Steve discussed several options without pressure. Our pool is gorgeous! I waited to write the review for several months just to make sure all was good. We had a very small issue with decking. Steve was right on it. Can't say enough about the company. I want to give huge shout-out to Ireland Pool Services of Newbury Park. During the remodel of our aged-1970's pool, Steve Ireland and his subcontractors were professional, considerate, and fast! We chose Steve after getting three quotes. We found all three pool contractors through Nextdoor and cross-referenced the reviews on Yelp. We ultimately went with Steve since his pricing was competitive, and he could start at the earliest date. He gave us a three week project completion date, however he was efficient! The pool was ready for use, after only 16 days of deconstruction/reconstruction. (We also contributed to the speed, by picking out the pebble tech, tile and purchasing the stone ASAP.) They replaced the coping, tile and plaster, repaired damage to our spa spillway, replaced old copper pipes, retrofitted our filter with new guts, and replaced the spa, jets, skimmer, heater and pump. Ireland Pool Supply did a fantastic job! Steve was very tuned-in to our needs and his sub-contractors work. He was very easy to communicate with. We whole-heartily recommend Ireland Pool Services if you are considering getting work done to your pool! read more

Steve remodeled our pool a year ago and we highly recommend him! Total transformation of our dated and aging pool, with new coping, tile, mini pebble, equipment, electrical and plumbing upgrades. Steve was terrific to work with - very knowledgeable and responsive throughout. The project itself was totally smooth - NO SURPRISES on schedule or budget! That is incredibly rare for a contractor! Teams of subs came and went like clockwork and all did great work. Beautiful tile work and they made sure the mini pebble surface was even with no rough spots. We LOVE the final product and would not hesitate to work with Steve again. read more

In response to the Owner . I was not upset because it was a holiday. I also observe the holiday . I was also aware that you are one of the best in the area , which is why i chose you in the first place , we wanted a place that could service us under any circumstance be it cleaning or repair , my 35 years in construction industry I know that most pool services are not all inclusive . That's why we chose your company . We also gave you a date a month out , The years i've spent in construction has taught me to never turn away a new client especially when a client guaranteed me a contract . In today's competitive climate i would have done everything to accommodate . it was one small hot tub , probably take 30 minutes to clean on a weekly basis . You couldn't find time for one 30 minute client? that's where I don't understand why you so willingly throw away clients . Maybe it's because it is only one small hot tub and you only want new clients that will be big revenue generators . So be it . I hired another contractor. read more

We just had Steve @ Ireland Pools do an amazing job! He is recommended on NextDoor multiple times. He builds pools but also remodels them, relaxes old equipment and basically can do whatever anyone wants! He redid the micro-mini pebble with glass and replaced all the tile around the perimeter of the pool and matching ribbon tile. He's immediately responsive which is pretty amazing considering how busy they are. We would get text replies from him at 10:00pm! He'll offer ideas but doesn't push anything. And the vendors he works with have incredible tile selections. Was here when he said he would be which is huge! Great, great crew to work with! read more

Look no further for a top notch backyard remodel with Ireland Pools. We just redid our entire backyard with them and had an incredible experience with them. We installed pavers, replastered our pool, installed all new plumbing and equipment, moved our pool equipment, added a built in bbq and pushed our hillside out and added a retaining wall. Steve was here every day with his fantastic team of workers. He was available to ask questions to in person, through texts, emails or calls. He completed his work on time. In fact, he finished several days early. I was worried about doing a backyard remodel during Covid while my kids were home for Distance Learning. I didn't think I would have the time. Just found this company through Yelp and spoke with Steve about needing new equipment for our pool. He has excellent customer service skills and does his best to accommodate your needs! He was able to come over the same day I called him for an estimate on installation for a new heater and filter (which was awesome!) Steve is knowledgeable and had great additional suggestions for our outdated pipes and valves etc. He came out 5 days later and completed the job within hours. His experience and knowledge on many different pool systems shows through his words and his work!
