Crabmeat spring rolls with vermicelli (bottom) and chicken satay pho (top)

Got treated for my birthday! Super clean place (including bathroom) and the ambiance is really nice. It's more expensive, all around $19+ for a bowl of something but that's Vancouver nowadays. However, the portions are HUGE. I took some of my soup home. I got the Crabmeat Spring Rolls with Vermicelli and my girlfriend got the Chicken Satay Pho. I was pretty content with what I ordered. I'm from Hanoi so I sometimes miss home and it's nice to have northern spring rolls. The pho that she got is on the richer side.

The beef pho was delicious. The soup was flavoured to perfection. It was so satisfying and wholesome. This is something I can have weekly. We ordered an appetizer to go with our pho. Great service!

The food was not bad. The portions were small for the prices we paid. Everything was over priced! The small cup of Vietnamese ice coffee for $8 , seriously? We are not going there anymore.

We went to Vietnam a few months ago and loved the food we had in Hanoi. This is one of the very few restaurants that offered the specific Hanoi dishes that we were looking for - cha ca la vong and bun cha hanoi. These are some of the dishes we ordered: - Papaya Salad: nice and refreshing appetizer - Pork and Crabmeat Spring Roll: Not bad but slightly different from the usual Vietnamese spring rolls I'm used to and preferred - Cha Ca Ha Noi (Turmeric Fish with fresh dill): If you're not sure how to eat it, the staff said they can definitely show you. Their sauce had shrimp paste, which is different from the cha ca we had in Vietnamese. Some of the people in our party preferred the sauce this way. - Bun Cha Ha Noi (Grilled Pork Belly and Patties): Loved this dish in Vietnam. Theirs come pretty close to it as well. - Beef Stew in Claypot: We ordered this just to try out and was pleasantly surprised how yummy it is. The bread they serve with it was delicious as well. Overall, I would definitely come back here when I'm craving Bun Cha or Cha Ca. I would likely reorder the papaya salad or beef stew as well. They also have egg coffee on their menu so I'll try that next time as well. Highly recommend this place to try some Vietnamese dishes that are not readily found in most Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver.

Tumeric Fish with Fresh Dill. So yummy!!

By far, my favorite meal in Vancouver!! We got the tumeric fish with fresh dill and the crab and pork spring rolls. The ratio of crab to pork was generous. Normally, places skimp on crab, but not this place! It's half and half. And they're huge! Overall, suuuuuuper delicious, home-style food with great flavors and portions. Friendly service, too!

Amazing Vietnamese food here. High quality, fresh, non greasy/oily. The spring rolls are a must order. The steamed rice rolls have the perfect texture and chewiness. Prob the best ones I've ever had in Vancouver. It wasn't busy when I went, server was super nice and attentive. And not to mention the decor of the restaurant is incredibly cute. Go go go!!!

Food photos attached, forgot to attach them last time. Came here a second time and got pho and egg coffee. Still just as good.

COVID #19 A Viet place that doesn't serve up much fuh (pho) They do have it on the menu, but not the plethora of offerings that other places have. See my pics Very crispy chicken wings and Viet rolls The fuh that was ordered had a very deep broth flavour, unlike other fuh I've had. Stop pronouncing it as fo pfffffffttttttt...... Curry chicken on rice. This is a first. I have never had curry in a Viet place. Ever. Very different than any other Asian curries I've had. I had a bit of heat and the chicken was boneless. Nicely done.

Love this place! Northern style viet food. Not your usual beef pho place. This place serves up authentic viet food. You can try the chicken pho but if you're really feeling for authentic food, try the meat balls or the Steam Rice Rolls. Amazing!! Definitely coming back

Looks like the HK cafe here (AA Plus) has died and reincarnated again. Parking is available on the side streets, and along Victoria. The place looks quite modern. Cool and cute looking decorations on the wall. Staff were friendly. The menus are pretty neat, as they are etched boards. Hope they don't change the pricing anytime soon. Food is definitely a bit pricey here, but the quality is something different. I tried their tumeric fish with dill, which is served in a sizzling skillet, with a side plate containing fish paste, vermicelli, salad, and crushed peanuts. The presentation is definitely there. The fish chunks were fresh and fragrant. Definitely impressive. My only complaint was that the food portion was definitely smaller than other Vietnamese places. Both my buddy and I left hungry. Should've expected this though, as I had the same complaint about Mr. Red which has the same owners. Might be back to try some other dishes in the future, though the small portions are always going to be at the back of my mind.

After tasting their Amazing Salads, I know where to go when I am on a diet!! Since its a warm day and we didn't really feel like anything heavy, we decided to try their Green Papaya Salad with Beef Jerky, and I ordered my new found favourite : Free Range Chicken Pho. The Salad came first and wow, the presentation is great and it is so FRESH!! The dressing is just right with all the right elements! Perfect balance of saltiness from the fish sauce, tartness from the lime juice, natural sweetness from the different vegetables, and of course the natural crunch from the green papaya!! After finishing our first salad, we thought we would also try the Chicken Feet Salad, with a different texture altogether, this has cucumber, jicama, bean sprouts, carrots, boneless chicken feet, this is another salad that will make you want to eat more, I added some of their homemade pickled Garlic & Chilli and it elevated the whole dish!! Now that I have tried their salads too, I am very confident to award them with an extra Star!

We went here for dinner after hearing many good things about this place. We got there around 6:30pm and the restaurant only had two other tables. The decor was very quaint and cozy, and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the waitress. All throughout the night, service was very speedy and friendly. We ordered the chicken feet salad, the deep-fried chicken wings, and the pork and crab meat spring rolls as our appetizer. For our main course we want it the vermicelli noodles with pork hock meatballs, but we were told that they ran out of the meatballs that day. So we opted for the Stir fried beef noodle soup instead, as well as the steam rice noodle with pork patties platter. The chicken feet salad was pretty good. The chicken feet was deboned and slice thinly. The salad dressing was sweet, sour and savoury. The crab spring roll has a nice crunch on the outside and had a generous filling of crab. Dipping sauce though was a little bit bland. The chicken wings had really good crunchy batter on the outside, but the chicken wing itself can use a bit of marinade as it was lacking flavour on its own. The stirfried beef noodle soup was full of flavor, the broth was super tasty. I like the big sheet of rice noodle with the pork patty platter. Overall food was very nice, the presentation was exactly how you see it online. The atmosphere was quiet and great for conversation too. It's not your typical pho noodle place, but I like it and I'll definitely be going back again soon.

The space is much nicer, with high ceilings and lots of light - great looking bistro. I ended up trying the following: - Mussels: Very good. Classic dish, but I really like the use of cream in the broth. - Bánh Mì Cay Hải Phòng (Spicy Baguette Sticks): Good. A nice little snack, although it would be easy to recreate at home. - Lamb Chops: Very good. Cooked just right, and the pepper sauce added extra flavour. - Fried Frog Legs: Very good. This was probably the surprise dish for me. They weren't just the legs, but the entire bottom of the frog, so the pieces were huge. The garlic, butter and chili flakes gave it a extra punch. I really enjoyed this one. - Pho Bo: Good. Not the best pho I've had, but it's good enough to stand on it's own. Service was quite good. Very cheerful and quite attentive. Overall a nice meal. It's a great space, the food is solid, and service to match. What I really like is having the variety of both French and Vietnamese dishes, without either of them suffering in quality. Only downside is that is it expensive for what you get.

The menu isnt big but they do have a reasonable selection of items but mostly dinner entrees We ordered a mini version of pho bo (beef broth pho), french escargot and the spicy baguette stick. The bone broth was good and the price for the mini version is good for a light lunch. We both enjoyed the spicy baguette stick with the pork pate. A pleasant surprise. However i find the escargot a bit pricey with the quantity and the way it was prepared. Slightly too oily to my personal prefence The iced vietnamese coffee we ordered tasted similar to a regular iced coffee, missing the sweet condensed milk flavor for a vietnamese coffee

My wife and I stopped in for dinner one evening and each ordered the aforementioned noodle soup--she got a small ($11.75 plus tax) and I got a regular ($12.75 plus tax). We also got an order of salad rolls ($7.50 plus tax), which comes with 2 rolls. The rolls came quite late. They were pretty standard, coming with fried tofu, vermicelli, and lettuce. The peanut dipping sauce was on the liquidy, salty soy sauce side of things -- I wish it were creamier and less salty. 3/5 The soups were decent. The broth was peppery, with some nice, gentle spices detectable in there. I asked for a side of chili oil, which helped amplify the broth. You get a generous portion of noodles, fried tofu, and vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, carrot). Unfortunately the veggies were quite overcooked -- the broccoli was almost soggy, so were the carrots and bok choy. 3/5 All in all, middle-of-the-road veggie pho. The broth is pleasant. The veggies were overcooked, but plentiful and nicely chosen. Decent place for veggie pho.
