Nice meal at this Vietnamese resto on Queen East. Friendly service. Relaxed and casual ambiance. Very authentic. Great beef pho and lemongrass chicken. The iced Vietnamese coffee was perfect. Parking is on the street.

Honestly, I wasn't super impressed with this place. First of all, there really wasn't much meat in the soup. The broth was good and our server was really nice, but the food itself just wasn't great. They served fresh rolls, didn't quite hit. The inside of the place is cool and it seems like they're relatively popular, I just think there's a lot better spots for Vietnamese food in Toronto.

This was our first time trying Northern style vietnamese cuisine and we definitely enjoyed it. If you're use to southern style pho or bun bo hue then this will be completely different in a good way! The broth for pho isn't the typical clear broth, with aromatics of cloves, this broth is much more lemongrass with other added flavors. The broth for the bun bo hue is much less spicy with hints of shrimp paste, almost like with bun rieu. Nonetheless very good. You have to go in with an open mind if you grew up with clearer broth. The waitress was great in explaining the difference between the different styles from south and north and the interior was very comforting with relaxed vibes!

Quite disappointed with flavour and quantity for the price paid. The noodles I ordered the garlic chicken stir fry with yu Choi for $14 and it tasted like soy sauce.

Rare beef pho and chicken basil lemon leaf pho The chicken one was stellar!

I am not Northern Vietnamese Food Expert.. my usual experience is Pho and Bun, so I was really excited to try out some authentic Northern Vietnamese food at Hanoi 3 Seasons... But after eating here I am confused and a little disappointed. The good: The restaurant is really nicely decorated and have a Spa like feel to it and I love that! The owner is really nice and sincere when he takes out order and give us recommendation and I always love good services! Good, Clean washrooms, I really like that.. hardly any vietnamese places I been to have washrooms that clean! The bad: The food here is just to greasy. Everything are deep fried.. Even the Lemongrass Chicken with Coconut Milk are deep fried until the chicken are so dried out! The Cha Ca tasted ok but did not Wow me. The Fish sauce they served here is really weak, taste more like coloured water. Since the restaurant was full with a big group of 30 people ordering the same time, the kitchen might be stressed out and thus affect the quality of food? I might give the other Hanoi 3 Seasons a try but for sure I am not coming back to Queen Street location anytime soon. They accepts Visa and Mastercard.

I ordered the house special pho, it was okay. Not sure why there was the red spice. Not a typical pho. They have a cute back patio.

Mussels in ginger and lemon grass sauce, loved the size and taste even tho they are frozen mussels, quite good!!

Came here on a Saturday 45 mins before their closing time (10pm) and we still felt very welcome by the staff. Service was great and the food came quick. Spring rolls and calamari patties - basically squid balls, not bad as an app, nice chewy texture, not an excessive amount of flour used (which is a common mistake of a lot of squid balls I have seen) - $7.50 House special noodles - Authentic and unique soup base, very impressive and just the first spoonful of the soup already got me, it is pure, light, and clear. Noodles are also different from what you usually would get. Just loved it. Mussels in ginger and lemon grass sauce - $11.50 we got 15 pieces of medium to big size mussels - very satisfied with the sauce which was a bit gingery, I just loved that heat. Cozy and a bit hipster decor and I already can't wait to come back and try other items on menu.

A very nice Vietnamese spot on the east end. Lots of diverse flavours and pricing isn't crazy. Yes yes another Pho review. For me right now it has the right amount of protein and volume of food to keep me full. I found this place on yelp and wanted to see. Nice atmosphere. Quaint with a clear view through the restaurant. They have a back patio though didn't get to see it since it's winter time. Lots of street parking on nearby streets as well. The food is just right. House special with rich and fresh flavours that don't linger in a bad way. Fresh basil, sprouts and chillies as always with a broth that is done the right way. Nice find and glad into have a quick lunch here. Friendly staff and decent decor would have me book marking this as a spot I can come back again if people ask me "what's around here?" Solid 4.0

We were in the area and we like to try new pho spots. This came up on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. We walked in at noon on a Sunday and it was empty. She brought us to the backyard patio where there was another couple seated but otherwise a quiet place to take in a bowl of noodles. The server came to us promptly and gave us waters and chopsticks. After a few moments she returns to take our order: spring rolls, 3 Seasons Hanoi special, and cooked beef pho. I judge a pho place by their spring rolls. It's the first impression you get because it's the appetizer that comes first. I've had better to say the least, they used shrimp and they were small spring rolls. Our pho came and my special had used lemon grass broth. It wasn't a big deal to me but it would have been nice to been aware of it because the next person might be expecting beef broth. Mine had cooked beef, rare beef, and beef balls. The cooked beef pho that my partner had was great though, a good standard bowl of pho. They accept credit card here and we were on our way. Decent spot with real Vietnamese people working the business. I'm never in the area so probably won't return.

Food was excellent and service was accommodating. I had beef rib pho and complimentary warm tea. The sauce to go with the beef rib was quite good. I got the rest of the pho to go, as it was a huge serving. It was a bit of a challenge trying to put the contents of the huge bowl into the takeout containers and I imagine other people have this same issue. Will definitely be back. They specialize in meat platters where you can create DIY fresh rolls. The platters come with lettuce, mints, vermicelli, rice paper and house special sauce. They also have pho, rice, and vermicelli dishes as well. Washrooms are located downstairs which are not accessible. They only accept cash (with a 10% cash discount) or debit. I previously have had Anh Dao for take out before - their pork sausages (nem nuong) are delicious and perfect when you wrap them with vermicelli and fresh herbs. Even when I got take out, the restaurant gives you plenty of fresh ingredients to create your own fresh rolls. I recently went to Anh Dao for lunch to dine in at the restaurant on a Friday around 12:30pm. The place was pretty quiet as it seemed like I was their first customer that day. During my time there, there was another party of 2 that also came in to eat lunch. I opted for the house special soup pho ($19.95). Service was friendly and my food came at a reasonable time after I ordered. The house special pho included slice rare beef, beef brisket, beef balls, and tripe. The soup was slightly sweet with a nuttier flavour. The noodles were unfortunately not the fresh kind but there were ample beef ingredients in the bowl of pho for the price you are paying. I love how in addition to siracha and hoisin sauce, there is also ground up chili sauce as well as a pickled sliced garlic and jalapeno pepper mixture at the table. Moreover, you get bean spouts, a red chili pepper, fresh herbs, and lime that you can add to your pho broth. Overall, a tasty bowl of pho where the quality of the beef was good. Anh Dao is a tasty option for Vietnamese food in the College and Spadina area. Definitely do try their meat platters as they are quite delicious!

I tried to finish the broth because it was so good. I would have given that first bowl 4 stars! Today was terrible! It just felt like a super water-downed broth that I didn't want to drink. Everything was just boiled and dumped in a water-downed soup base. The least they can do is use broth and dump it in the seafood tomato based soup. This was a 9pm dinner. They had their own family visiting to close up shop at 11. I tried asking them what happened to the broth today but they didn't speak English or just decided not to. It was disappointing for a bowl of $21 + tax noodle that was just pretty bland tonight even though it looked the part.... Sigh 2 stars today but couldn't average it out to 3 because now I remembered the spring rolls from the first visit were soggy Yes they are friendly but don't know if it's a place you should come before 7pm to catch the good broth?

The soup was pretty tasty with a natural sweetness, 2 springy half fishballs & a large, very fresh shrimp. The sauce was basically oyster sauce but pickled garlic, red vinegar, hoi sin & chili sauce were available to add complexity. The noodles weren't wet but were not dry either. Large was a very big bowl it came with minced pork, thin sliced pork beansprouts & greens. The pickled garlic was good. Also got a shrimp fritter on the side for $2.50.
