portions could b a bit bigger but the first or second best pho in etobicoke (and there's a lot!) chicken is excellent great staff

#303 - grilled pork with spring roll vermicelli bowl

Our neighbourhood go to for vermicelli bowls. We also enjoy their pho and usually order extra meat on the side to get some more protein. Order is usually quick and is ready in 15-20 mins.

Chicken and spring roll vermicelli

Growing up I've had my fair share of Vietnamese cuisine. One thing for sure is that the food here is authentic and tastes good but there are definitely some things that can be improved on. The price isn't high, but is $1-2 higher than the typical Vietnamese restaurant and you don't get as much food as other places. Considering vermicelli noodles and rice aren't expensive, it wouldn't hurt to put more. I got the chicken and spring roll vermicelli. The taste was good but nothing spectacular and as you can see, a little burnt. My dad got the chicken and pork chop rice dish and though I didn't get a picture, it was quite burnt (we got takeout and obviously didn't see until we got back) I don't think I'd come back but I wouldn't discourage people from going if they're in the area and are in need of a Vietnamese dish.

The service is pretty good. They are friendly and then just leave you to your meal. Must be family run because they had their own table with their own food and belongings. Food came our fast and hot! It was really good too, first time in awhile I wanted to finish the entire broth. There was a good amount of noodles and meat also! Overall, a pretty good place to get Pho!

Best spring rolls I've ever had. The pho was ok, but I found it didn't have much flavor. The service was humble and very polite. I will definitely be returning - perhaps just for the amazing spring rolls.

Pho with rare beef. Not much of beef. Lots of onion though

The food is quite mediocre compared to other pho places in south Etobicoke. It is also a bit overpriced. Maybe we came at a wrong time of the day but pho broth lacked flavor and tasted a bit diluted. The rare beef had a little less beef than other places serve (and beef wasn't so rare as served by their competitors). We ordered two pho soups (medium size) and asked to put beef tripe into one of them which as we later discovered cost us extra $2. Paying over $20 for two pho's is a bit pricy, since we usually manage to stay within $16.

Menu

Standard Vietnamese food. Friendly owner. Usually grab take out and they always offer free tea.

This place is a hidden gem! I was craving Vietnamese food and found this in the area. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls , so yummy and crispy with a nice dipping sauce. Then I got the seafood pho , great broth nice and light, the seafood was perfectly cooked , noodles were good too. And my boyfriend got the crispy seafood noodles , amazinggg they had a light sauce and a nice crunch! I also had an avocado smoothie , it was not too sweet and very creamy. Definitely making this my new spot!

This place has been around for a while. I was glad to find out about it recently as its walking distance from our place. It's just a run of the mill mom n pop shop but quick n simple Vietnamese cuisine. Great for when you crave Pho at all times of the day (except Tuesday's). Will return often! They have takeout and delivery too!

Not the best decor but very authentic Vietnamese food. Not the best pho but this place has the best chicken/pork chop on rice dishes.

Their menu offerings are delicious , so fresh you can see everything being prepared in the kitchen .It is different variety of dishes than most Vietnamese spots Where as many of the other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to have pad Thai it's not on this menu. The meats are very tender. The prices I think are quite reasonable for the portions that you get and so far the wait for a table has been no more than 10 minutes. I hate to recommend this place although it is in a shopping mall I guess there is at least a lot of parking and there's a rollup ice cream place just a few doors away as a option for something other than mango or rice pudding I think for the dessert choices. And a pet peeve of mine that seems more restaurants are doing , I don't understand the logic behind it, but they don't do separate billing on weekends it seems to be a thing happening at More and more restaurants so one person has to take on paying the bill and then chasing down people to get their payment, which is a bit of a drag and that will likely be why we will only go on a weekday

I have seen a number of Pho Anh Vu restaurants open up in and around Markham and the surrounding area. I hadn't been to any of them. A recent Yelp event introduced this location in Mississauga to me. It's roughly a fifteen-minute drive from my workplace. This restaurant is next door to Crumbl. There is plenty of parking in this plaza. The Yelp event introduced me to these dishes: - Crispy spring rolls - Mango salad with shrimp - Chicken pho - Special beef pho - Grilled chicken with a fried egg on broken rice The crispy spring rolls were fabulous, especially with the dipping sauce. I want more! The prettiest mango salad with shrimp dish is at this eatery. The mango salad was piled up high with peanuts on top. The shrimp were grilled and sliced in half. Tasty! Everything was so fresh and yummy. The mango was not too ripe or unripe. Perfect! The chicken pho had yummy broth. The chicken had more bones than meat, which made me enjoy it less. Staff were good replenishing the broth, as I was eating something else and the broth was running low. The noodles were yummy. T The special beef pho came out. The broth was different. I felt that it didn't have star anise or good flavouring. It tasted earthy. I don't know if it was an off day. I had shared this pho with two friends. One of them got tripe that wasn't sliced, so I don't know if it was good. I only got beef. I didn't see anything else that would make this pho special. Thank goodness I had a lime wedge, mint, and bean sprouts. I used them in both pho varieties, but they were mandatory for the beef pho to add depth and flavour. The grilled chicken on broken rice was excellent. I loved the runny egg oozing onto the rice. The grilled chicken was flavourful and perfectly grilled. It was juicy. I loved it so much the first time that I returned to have it again. Delicious and a winner! Cash and debit are accepted payment methods. You pay at the counter. On my recent visit, I paid with a debit card. I tipped and tapped. Done! Staff were great getting whatever I needed and clearing everything off the table while dining in. They were fabulous. It's a decent eatery. I may return to try the beef and see if I can get my usual (rare beef and beef balls). Here's hoping that the broth is better. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy getting spring rolls, mango salad with grilled shrimp, and grilled chicken with a fried egg on broken rice. (213)
