I asked a friend to drive me to a few places and I would treat him to a meal. I came across this place while searching for chicken wings. I live about ten blocks from here and wanted to try this place out. FYI: if you go in the evening, the parking lot is rather small. Best if you can find parking on the street. That being said, I have to give this place an absolute "WOW" factor. Those wings were superb! I ordered the Korean and my friend order the Mexican style. Both were superbly delicious. Nice spacious seating. Please read the whole menu offerings at least twice before ordering and what comes free with your meal and what is extra. Just because you are asked if you want two different sides, doesn't mean they are both complimentary. We both ordered 12 pieces. My friend finished his order. I took my savoring my wings and finished 7, The remainder I'll reheat them another night. Fries were good. Fresh cut fries, not overdone. Will I return? Most definitely!! This is my third time trying Hangry's. I am trying to support my local businesses but Hangry's you're making it hard. My son placed a takeout order today, it was not good. Plenty of fries but, all like bricks, inedible. Wings 18, a lot smaller than previous which I understand with current affairs. But, they also were horrible; crunchy not in a good way and no moisture like fries and wings were cooked the previous day. The shrimp dish was also bad. After skipping lunch, I was leaving work and looking for a place to help save me from my Hanger and then I found Hangry's! Although a little bit of a drive, it was totally worth it. I called and ordered the Southern Handheld on a wrap (which totally elevated it, in my opinion) and a milkshake. Both were simple and delicious. I'd say this restaurant is pretty solid. I ordered through Ubereats and everything was well packaged. I had the chicken tortilla soup that came with the pasta diabla. Although the soup was salty the pasta diabla was great. The pasta diabla was generous with both pasta and shrimp. Even with the upcharge from Ubereats this place is worth the money. Great customer service. Hole-in-the-wall made to order fast food with real sit down restaurant feel. Decent food and decent prices. Wings are $1 a wing and surprisingly good. The standard buffalo sauce has a nice kick. Also had the tortilla soup which was a little boring. I'm used to this dish being slightly creamy with chicken. Theirs is more like a simple vegetable beef soup with tortilla slices on top. Very salty. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area. Go for the wings! So good! Honestly, I'm more of a salad person and had high hopes... tried to chopped salad. Very much NOT good. Weird combo of Parmesan cheese, buffalo (?) grilled chicken, and ranch. Just an odd combo and no satisfying at all. The wings though... so meaty and sauces are delicious! The burger was very delicious and cooked to order . The pasta was delicious as well, Very tasty and well seasoned. the Horchata slushie was AWESOME. Very delicious. The wings were not my favorite. I believe these are baked in the oven. Not the method of choice for me when wings are cooked. They were soggy and weird taste due to cooking style. We were famished and this is the closest fast food we found in the area. The place is clean and there are a few people inside. It has a nice ambiance and it feels comfortable inside. Staff are friendly and they treat us nicely with a smile. They have a bunch of good selection in their menu. We ordered quite a lot because we are seriously hungry that time. Mostly disappointing I've driven by this place many a times and I've grown up in this neighborhood decide to stop and I was really craving some kind of chicken and fries I looked at the wings menu and thought it seemed a little expensive but saw the words with fries. I ordered a six count and the person at the counter did not ask me if I wanted regular or boneless I asked if it's possible to get two different kinds of sauces and he said no not offering any other solutions are allowing me to possibly purchase something. After waiting about 15 minutes my order was Soggy and Luke warm at best. I came back in to ask about the fries and the guy at the counter just says the word "no" when I asked about the fries with the 6 piece. I do notice now that the small font of "with fries " isn't under the 6 piece. Which is totally correct looking at it again. - he just said the word "no" - didn't offer or ask if I wanted to buy fries to complete me meal - at this price point, wait time and temperature served it's not worth it. Today was their 2nd day open and let me just say that this is a fabulous new place for the neighborhood!! The food was awesome! French fries were amazing!
