And even with the reasonable prices the food was seriously amazing. I got the bacon burger and I also sampled my brothers pancakes and I was very satisfied with both of them. Food was good but definitely not the best place for those with food allergies, especially if you need to eat gluten free. Little to no gluten free options. I got the breakfast tacos which are on a corn tortilla and they were delicious and I didn't have any reaction. Other options they had would had been basic eggs and meat but there is going to be cross contamination. With this restaurant being in walking distance of the campus I encourage them to do something about their gluten option. Seems like this place is a Cincy brunch staple and for good reason! The interior was very cute and our server was very nice and attentive. I definitely recommend adding yourself to the waitlist on Google before heading over as the wait times, especially on the weekend, can get really long. We ordered the chi-chis omelette and sausage party, definitely liked the former more than the latter. I wish the sausage party had more veggies, it just got a bit heavy for me. We had arrived around 9a on a sat not to many people were out and moving about yet. I had heard positive reviews from colleagues and was excited to give their food a try. Came to eat here on my first Father's Day waited over an hour to get seated when we were told 35-40min and once seated waited an hour for us not to get our meal. In the middle of a college / hospital community this restaurant is tucked into Charlotte street. For my birthday, my friend took me for brunch. This is the most creative brunch I've eaten. I could tell that although there were many Mexican flavored dishes: the options for pancakes, English muffins, plain eggs and sausage gravy/ biscuits etc was also available. I ordered a pancake which was incredible. My main dish had sweet potato tots as a base, two over easy eggs, and so much Mexican salsa, fresh pico de Galla and I don't know what else. Wait was reasonable for a party of 3 on a Saturday morning/afternoon. Ross was our server. He was friendly and personable. Overall it was ok. I'd still tell people to try it out even tho we don't feel like we have to return. I wouldn't have anything to say really had we not interacted with the manager. He was... something. We ordered the carafe of mimosas. Ross said we could get the champagne and juice separately to be able to mix to our desired strength. He brought us our juice in larger glasses with the champagne in the carafe. Upon immediate pour of the champagne you could tell it was flat. The manager seemed extremely annoyed by us bringing this to their attention. He did offer to remove the $25 item but did so with the nastiest attitude. We indicated for him to take the champagne from the table because we weren't "complaining" to get something free. He removed the 3 glasses and carafe and slammed them on the bar across from us. It would be self centered to assume everything he did after that was about us but whenever we looked around the room or Ross would be at our table the manager would roll his eyes or storm off. It's not a big place and we were seated in the booths near the kitchen. We asked Ross if we should just leave as it seemed to be an issue. Ross ensured that we should stay and all was fine. Ross was great actually. He went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience and even thanked us for what he described as a calm and balanced disposition despite the situation. We ensured to tip him well, and in cash. Upon review of the bill, the manager made sure to take a dig at us with his note on the removal of the mimosa which was unnecessary. Pic attached. Overall... Best brunch place in the city. Fast casual diner that has a few locations throughout the state. Waited almost an hour but I am sure glad we did. Tried a few different things and everything was SO GOOD. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich topped with an egg and HOE fries. The chicken came out piping hot and crispy - fresh out of the fryer and to the table. Didn't really care for the HOE fries - just grilled potatoes without much seasoning. But the sweet potato tots were to die for. I could've easily just eaten a plate of it and been satisfied. The chicken and waffle was also really good - crispy chicken tenders similar to the sandwich. Recently, a girlfriend came in into town and we decided to go out for brunch. I don't know if the sewer was backed up or there was a sewage problem, but the restaurant smelled so horrible that we could not even order. We sat there for five minutes and had to leave. Upon arriving I had to wait at the counter for a significant amount of time because the employee was busy flirting with a customer (this customer was not actually waiting on an order). I was ignored for quite some time until another employee had to come take care of me. My order had been ready that whole time. When I actually got my order and brought it home, I then realized it was incomplete and missing items.
