Lrg hand cut fries
Belva L.

We went for the half-price burger night on Tuesday! When we arrived (5:15 pm) the place was absolutely slammed!!! I understand and sympathize with the waitresses (3 of whom) who were working as hard as they could, but ", it was one FULL hour after we placed our order before we got served! (Which obviously shows the my need more help in the kitchen!!!! Waitresses cannot serve until the kitchen supplies!!) Hand cut fries ALWAYS get my attention, this time HAND CUT SHOESTRING FRIES!!!! ONCE THEY FINALLY ARRIVED, they were hot & perfect. BURGERS WERE HAND PATTIED & done perfectly!! Our bill for 2 burgers, 1 lrg hand cut fries, & a lrg Blue Moon draft was $17 WITH 20% TIP!! Only wish the kitchen could keep up with the demand.

Favorite local place to grab a bite. Great food choices and service. Usually busy and kind of loud but well worth it.

If you're willing to wait the food is good. Service, the order that your items come out in, the time it takes to be greeted and get a drink

Good service and good food, had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. Would not suggest the pizza, it was horrendous.

I'll just say, the buffalo wings are the best item on their menu so far. Other things I've had were just so-so.

This is our go to Saturday ride to Amish Country. I can't believe this is my second week in a row…read more You get there and you add your name to the list and step back, or go outside and wait. It's packed but do not get impatient, they have this down to a science and you are usually called within 20-30 minutes or less. It depends on the line. The food is tasty, very delicious. The pies... yum o'lala. Clean, everyone is kind. Oh and the Amish families eat there, so you know it has to be good. Our guest ate from the Buffett, we eat from the menu.

I would argue that this is very good down-home cooking! There was a lot of people who came at once…read morebut they have plenty of seating so there wasn't really a wait. There's a buffet or menu items to choose from. We got the buffet. Full salad bar with fresh ingredients, local cheese. Cold salads like macaroni and broccoli. The croutons were good, crunchy but not break your teeth and they had a variety of breads they used. Fresh bacon pieces. The hot foods bar had: -fried chicken (VERY good, highly recommend) -cabbage casserole (little too cheesy for me) -corn (very very sweet, interesting) -noodles (YUM!!!) -dressing (what they call stuffing, it was good) -bbq ribs (fall of the bone but I thought the sauce could be better, have more flavor) -green beans (basic, would be better with seasoning/butter) -mashed potatoes and gravy (yum!) We had good service and overall the buffet was a better deal than ordering something off the menu, especially if you wanted to try a couple different things. It was a good way to get a wide variety of items. Lemonade was very fresh

First I want to thank Cork and Tap Excursions for posting this on their Instagram page. I had never…read moreheard of this place. It had opened in Labor Day of 2021. Arrived and they have lots of parking outside. Inside the place has two levels. We didn't adventure to the top but remained on the first floor. They have a wonderful 17 year old dog that will come up and sit by you. She is very friendly. We tried some wine. They're limited on dry wines. They had several dry wines, maybe more than I assumed that they would have. I did like the dry wine made in a bourbon barrel. It had a wonderful taste. I did sample some of the sweeter wines. The Peanut and Butter wine was sensational. The woman that helped wait on us said guys come in here and say I drink dry wines. They all walk out with the "thingamajigga" peanut butter and jelly wine. I fell into the same trap. That great. We enjoyed two glasses of wine and had some small bites. This is a cute location. They have amazing wood work inside the place. The interesting thing is that we were at Terra Cotta Vineyard and winery earlier that day. The owner said the owner of this winery was a wood worker. He had did amazing work for them. It shows with his winery. Highly recommend visiting this place. How could I forget the nachos were the best we've had anywhere.. hands down amazing..

BF and I were trying to do everything Amish and local for our Valentine's weekend in Dresden, OH…read moreand we picked this place based on their really nice website. Gotta say, the website was much more impressive than the actual place. This wasn't too far of a drive from Dresden Inn but coming back, we got turned around because of the lack of lights, signage and skinny roads. They have plenty of parking and the string of lights outside was cute. I asked the waitress TWO times whether the sweet potato fries for the sandwich entree was extra and she confirmed TWICE that it was not an extra cost. Welp, upon paying, guess what? It was $4 extra! Just look at my picture to see that like 12 skinny AF fries are NOT worth the extra charge! Their house chips were great. I ordered the brie & jam sandwich and it was filling and delicious. I also ordered a crispy chicken salad and was pretty disappointed at the quality. I abhor cheese shavings on salad (they don't belong on salads!) and there was just mounds of very processed looking cheese. There was not enough chicken pieces for the price, too many croutons, no onion or enough tomato; just cheap lettuce. They don't serve regular glasses of water here. It was all crushed ice! We suspected they were just pre-wine slushies! This was really odd. There's not real wait service but since we sat upstairs, people needed to bring stuff up so I did tip a usual amount. I wanted to experience more of a country, made from scratch type of setting so was not too happy with the very Chilis/Applebee quality and presentation of their food.

We were in the area and looking for a brunch spot and Early Birds Breakfast popped up with good reviews. The menu had so many options, decision paralysis! We found a spot and our server (who happened to be one of the owners) was over to take our drink order. I had a coffee, being our first time we asked for recommendations. According to the owner they are known for their gravy and French toast. Guess what I had... the stuffed French toast was a generous portion, cooked perfectly and had a lovely cream in between the thick slices of bread. I added sautéed bananas, which was absolutely delicious! I didn't add any syrup as it was perfect as it was. I opted for bacon which was delightfully crisp! Being known for their gravy, how could I not? The gravy had small pieces of sausage crumbled in it, creamy and milk based took me back to grandmas kitchen. Inside is rather small, so go early. If you go on a weekend, prepare for a bit of a wait.
