I dropped off a new jacket on Tuesday May 20. Spent a few minutes discussing how to embroider my name on the front. At first he quoted $45, but after agreeing that the font didn't need to match a sample jacket precisely, he lowered the price to $30. FOR ONE NAME. I only paid $40 for the jacket! He said he would have it done "by the end of the week". I waited a full week and called him on the next Tuesday the 27th. He apologized for not having it ready and again said it would be ready "by the end of the week." When I walked on Saturday afternoon May 31, expecting my jacket to be ready, the door was locked, even though the sign on the door said they are open until 8PM on Saturdays. Fortunately he was inside and unlocked the door. After a brief moment of him giving excuses and me expressing disappointment, he handed me my jacket as though he was refusing the job. I left with the intention of taking it back to my regular embroidery place: T-Shirt Mart.

Frankly I'm amazed to not see a ton of awesome reviews here for Rich - or any reviews, for that…read morematter! Rich has been around for a while and DEFINITELY knows his business hands-down. My club worked with Mr. Soergel on the creation and embroidery of a large back patch, and through the whole (sometimes painstaking) process, Rich was superb. Through several iterations on artwork (that was the hard part - since we had a committee of reviewers and a bunch of small tweaks to work through as a result) Rich was great to work with, and maintained good communication and professionalism. Once we got together to pick the actual thread colors based on our artwork, it was clear that he has years of experience and knew exactly how to recommend the solutions that would result in the kind of outcome we were hoping for. Once we got the physical "proof" version in actual thread that we could touch and see in different light/angles, we were all thrilled - even the subtle shading elements were exceptionally well-captured and represented, and we're now eagerly awaiting our final products. Again, Rich was super professional, made great recommendations after getting to know our style, what we were looking for in a patch, what kind of use-cases we had, and made the whole process much easier than I anticipated it was going to be. When I brought it to her attention she got very aggressive with me telling me that she knew what I ordered. I responded back saying I know mw and I know what I ordered and she made a mistake. I had called to complain but that complaint fell on def ears. The guy I spoke to (one of the owners) very rude, spoke to me and accused me of lying about the situation. I had explained "why would I lie?" but that did nothing. I also asked for my artwork back that I had paid for them to do years earlier to take to another company and they refused. It wasn't worth going to court over so I found another company that I went to that does a WAY better job and treat me nice. They ever recreated my artwork for free! I have been with them for the last 5 years and am very happy. On one hand I am unhappy that I got treated bad but on the other I am a lot better off without this company doing my shirts. I hope it was worth it!
