Han Palace is your average Chinese restaurant. The menu has all the standard fare and the prices won't break the bank. I've only had takeout, so I can't comment on the service inside. As for the food, I usually stick to the following: pork lo mein, chicken chopped suey, and crab rangoons. The hubs always gets the General Tso combination plate. Every takeout order comes with all the sauces (soy/duck/mustard), dinner rolls, and decent fortune cookies. Their duck sauce is some of the best I've had around here - which might sound trivial, but it can make or break my lo mein. In fact, I usually sop up what's left with those rolls. read more

I'm so disgusted by this place I've been coming hear for years and I ordered chow main no meat well when I got home I opened it and they gave me wrong order so I called them and Keith answered and said don't worry when you can come up you'll get a free order of chow main I put your name in book.. now mind you I walk with a walker so for me to get up there is difficult even though I live right behind there it very hard for me. So when I was finally feeling better I went up there to get my food that was clearly owed to me. When I got there I said to Keith my name and how they owed me a chow main with no meat!!! I can't believe what happen next!! Keith flipped out on me calling me a liar and a bunch of inappropriate names!!! Here I am handicapped who has a harder enough time for me to get up there is getting screamed at and called a liar!!! I'm so hurt by this and I wish I could do more then write on yelp!! Han's is one of my favorite places for chinese food in the Warwick area. If you like crab rangoon, theirs are great. Also, if you like a spicy dip (more spicy than the mustard), they have a chili paste (looks a little like catchup) that is really good. When I go I stick to the more common dishes and they have always been good. I will agree with a previous review about the bathrooms. They aren't kept up that well and (at least the ladies room) is always freezing. The drinks are good (and are probably the reason I can never remember the name of the chili past I mentioned) and the prices are reasonable. Overall, a good meal at a good price. read more

I don't normally like American Chinese food. I went to Han Palace with family on New Year's Eve for the first time. We were worried we wouldn't get a seat because it looked packed. Turned out that line out the door was only for take-out customers. So we were seated inside quickly. We were seated at a booth that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. The seats were sticky. The menus were sticky too. I tend to shy away from goopy Chinese entrees, so I ordered pork fried rice, egg rolls, and hot & sour soup. Our food arrived but no egg rolls for me. I amicably told the waitress that I ordered egg rolls but she snapped back that I hadn't ordered any. Really?? Why tell the customer they're wrong? And with a temperamental tone, even. Just say "sorry sir, coming right up," instead of attempting a Jedi mind trick on a customer. Whatever, I got my egg rolls eventually. While the rice and egg rolls were exceptional (in the sense that greasiness and MSG's can make things taste good), the soup burned my throat like battery acid. I've had hot & sour soup at other places, and I normally enjoy it. But Han's broth tasted like boiled malt vinegar. I split an order of mu shu pork with a relative, and it was actually really good; it even made me forget about my burning throat for a while. I feel like all American Chinese restaurants suck for the most part. But each place has a few things I'll stick with if I go back. I ended up getting take-out from Han's recently. The egg rolls were soggy and tasted like an old sneaker. The rice and mu shu pork were tasty again though. read more

I have been coming here for almost ten years and after tonight I will probably never come back. Besides the food being unusually subpar, the service was horrendous. The older chinese woman that was our server was so rude it completely ruined our meal. I asked if there was a children's menu and before I could even finish asking she snapped at me and told me to order a combo before I could even get my whole question out. Then she never brought our appetizer and when I told her, she said it was my fault for not telling her before our entrees came out, which would have been impossible since the only time I saw her was when she dropped off our drinks after ordering. Being given the option to take home our app or not pay for it because she admitted to never putting it in was the last nail in the coffin. No manager came to speak to us and she didn't bother to come back. A decade long tradition has come to an end and I'll make sure to tell everyone of my experience to spare them the same. And the volcano bowl was terrible. read more

Worst Chinese food I ever had in my life (if you can call it food). Worst food period. I mean it. I'm not just an internet troll looking to trash a restaurant. I grew up eating a variety of Chinese food and of different qualities. Yes, I am Chinese myself (well, Taiwanese, technically) and I do know what is good, what is edible and what is pure crap. The meal I had at Han Palace is by far THE WORST I ever had. And the servers are not Chinese. I'm sorry but if I go to a Chinese restaurant, I expect at least Asian-looking people to serve my food. Service was horrible; the server went away for about 15 minutes without checking back on us. She also messed up when taking our order (she couldn't understand "Ma Po Tofu" which is a VERY basic Chinese dish and gave us some other dish that was not even remotely similar). Sesame chicken was tasteless and the quality of the chicken was solidified chicken by-product mush) Rhode Islanders, go to Providence for Chinese food. Don't be lazy; don't cheat yourself. Go to Phoenix Dragon. Great Dim Sum there. I haven't tried their other stuff but I'm sure that its regular meals are just as decent. Or, go to Boston or NYC if you're willing to try some AUTHENTIC Chinese food. Even better, meet some Chinese people and ask them to cook for you. This food was INSULTING; I could not believe that it is labeled as a "Chinese restaurant." Thanks for reading. P.S. This would have no stars if I had a choice. I am outraged at the audacity of the service at this establishment. Waitress carelessly spilled a whole glass of red wine all over my new jeans and shirt.
