I almost never give up on a restaurant after a single visit. This place earned that distinction in under an hour. One star. Plenty of better KBBQ in this price range go find it. If you're considering this spot for AYCE KBBQ, save yourself the trip. At $39 for the entry-level package, the value here is genuinely baffling, I can rattle off five better options at the same price point without breaking a sweat. Frankly, the quality on the table felt closer to a $20 experience. Let's start with the meats, since that's the whole point. They landed in two camps: bone-dry or aggressively over-marinated to the point of fatigue. I started calling it the McDonald's of KBBQ -- uniform, oversalted, and progressively less appetizing with every bite. Not what you want from an all-you-can-eat concept that lives or dies on protein quality. The cost-cutting shows everywhere once you start looking. The sauce tray they brought out was portioned for exactly one round, and despite making eye contact with our server multiple times, it was never refilled. Our ginger bowl was leaking onto the table, the server noticed, cleaned it up, took the bowl away, and then simply never returned with a replacement. On top of that, they cap orders at three meat trays at a time, which isn't even enough for two hungry adults. We spent more time flagging down staff for the next round than actually eating, and by the time food arrived, the appetite we'd built up was long gone. The dining room itself is one of the few bright spots, spacious, open, and far enough between tables that you can really go to town without an audience. But take a closer look. The exit signs are wearing visible dust bunnies. The window sills and decor haven't seen a rag in what looks like a month. When the sun cut through the windows, the air was full of floating particulates. Not exactly the vibe you want while eating. Credit where it's due: the spicy tuna rolls were solid. We came here on Saturday to celebrate my sister's birthday--our first time visiting, and we were excited to try it out. Unfortunately, the first impression really set the tone. The host, Laura, was quite rude from the start. As the first person guests interact with, you expect at least a welcoming attitude, but that wasn't the case. She didn't greet us warmly or ask our seating preference--she just assumed we wanted to sit inside. When I asked to sit outside, she glanced at the dirty tables and told us it would be a 10-minute wait. We agreed to wait. Once our table was ready, she tried to seat us in direct sunlight even though there was an open shaded table nearby. When I politely asked to switch, she responded rudely and muttered something about having to move everything "again," even though this was the first request we made. I also mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and asked if she could let our server know so I wouldn't have to say it in front of my sister. She gave me a look that made it clear she didn't want to bother, so I just dropped it. On a positive note, our waitress Dee was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and professional. She made sure we had everything we needed, checked in often, and never made us feel rushed. The food came out in a reasonable time and was okay overall--not amazing, but fair for the price. My girlfriend and I went to Han Korean BBQ House on a Sunday evening around 5 PM while we were traveling. One thing to know ahead of time is that reservations online are only for parties of five or more. If your group is four or fewer, you just walk in. There are two entrances, one from the mall side and one from the street side, and they're very close to each other. They offer both à la carte and all-you-can-eat options. The all-you-can-eat menu is divided into four categories (A, B, C, and D). House Special (A+B) is about $38.99 per person, Premium (A+B+C) is about $48.99 per person, and Premium Plus (A+B+C+D) is about $58.99 per person. We chose the Premium option and were very happy with that choice. Compared to some Korean BBQ places in Koreatown LA or on the Central Coast, they probably have fewer banchan (side dishes), but what they did have was good, including kimchi, potatoes, bamboo, etc. You do have to ask for steamed rice since it's one of the menu options rather than automatically brought out, but that wasn't a big deal. One thing I really liked was that they did not try to slow you down with ordering. They were constantly checking on us and asking if we wanted more food. A lot of all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ places slow down service after a few rounds, but this place didn't do that at all. You definitely won't leave hungry. The quality of the meat was good, and nothing seemed low quality. They also changed the grill frequently, which helped a lot with the marinated meats so the grill didn't get overly burnt or carbonized. We also had a few drinks, including Mexican candy shots and Japanese lagers, and everything was great. Service was fast, the waiter was fantastic, and the pricing felt fair for what you get. Parking is what you'd expect in a busy Burbank area. You'll probably park in a nearby parking garage for the mall and walk about 5-10 minutes. Came here for their premium all you can eat, I had been looking at it for a while and it was so worth it. It's extremely hard to find a kbbq spot in the valley with sushi/sashimi options! Their sushi was so fresh and the portions sized were great. One of my favorite rolls was the red dragon. The meat options are great as well, they have lots of different cuts of steaks plain and marinated. The marinate filet was great, it melted in your mouth. I also love how they have lots of little appetizers! Really yummy for the table to pass around. No yogurt at the end, but overall this place is really great. I like that I can enjoy both the aspects of Korean BBQ while also having Sushi in the same place. The food is good quality, the staff is there to make sure you have fresh food and a clean grill which is nice so your food does not burn. Very good quality meats & wide variety of sushi rolls and side dishes! I really enjoyed the Beef Belly (super fatty) and the Pork Belly! The spicy tuna crispy rice was delicious and the Salmon Truffle Roll...OMG. It was HEAVENLY. The Crab Rangoons were also delectable and I loved the unlimited rice papers and salad! The waiter was very kind and was consistently checking in on us and making sure our grills were being changed every once in a while. It's a very large establishment so there is seating inside and outside. I HIGHLY recommend sitting INSIDE. My party chose to sit outside, and unfortunately, it was a huge turn off having so many flies and bees swarm around our grill and food. This spot can also be a bit pricey, but honestly, I wouldn't mind spending that much money for AYCE every once in a while because the quality of their food is amazing. This isn't quite a "purist" Korean BBQ restaurant ... it's probably more accurately described as a "Pan-Asian" eatery. If you opt for the AYCE Menu, you can choose from 3 tiers: the bottom tier entitles you to a fairly limited selection of meats (which does NOT include Galbi - booo!!!!), the middle and upper tiers increase the number of meats you can choose from (note: some cuts/selections in the latter 2 tiers are *NOT* AYCE). All tiers also entitle you to order various sushi roll options, as well as items from the "wok kitchen" (fried rice, noodles, miso soup, etc.). To further diminish the credibility of this place as a legitimate dedicated KBBQ establishment ... the banchan set is extremely spartan - during my visit, I noted salad, kimchi, potato salad, and pickled radishes. Nothing else (YMMV). I'd describe menu pricing as being on the high side for what you get (the location of the eatery is likely a significant factor). Conversely, the AYCE dining window is on the lower side - 90 minutes. All that said ... overall, this place is not bad. The service was fantastic (grill changes were frequent, staff were patient and pleasant to deal with), and the variety in cuisine options certainly has its appeal/upsides. Parking options are paid street (you will need to use the ParkMobile app and pay electronically), paid lots and mall parking. The latter two will require a bit of a walk to the restaurant entrance. Venue 4: Quite large and nicely appointed. Indoor and outdoor tables and booths, a large bar on the patio. They take reservations on Yelp ONLY IF your party is larger than 5!) or you can join the Yelp Waitlist online. Their grills are different from many other Korean Barbecues that I have been to, as they are vented from under the grill rather than from the above (no vent hoods above your table). This is common in Japanese style Yakiniku barbecue houses. The net positive effect is that you do not smell of food and smoke when you are done! Service 3.5: Our server was friendly and helpful but not very attentive. Food 3: After about a 15 minute wait, we were seated at an indoor booth complete with the grill. Upon being seated, you receive a few small plates of Korean Banchan (side dishes; Kimchi, Picked Radish and Potato salad), a bowl of green salad, and some dipping sauces. These are complimentary for all diners. Both AYCE (All You Can Eat) and a la carte menus are available. Offerings, in addition to the customary raw beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and vegetables that diners grill at the table, include Asian-inspired appetizers, a limited assortment of sushi, sashimi and carpaccio's, and a larger assortment of specialty rolls. We are not big eaters (quantity-wise) so we opted for the a la carte menu. The food itself is the same regardless of whether you order a la carte or AYCE. The AYCE option has multiple pricing tiers which give you access to different groupings of meats and sushi at different prices (see the many posted pics of the AYCE menu on Yelp). We ordered the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice, the Crunch Roll and the Peacock Roll as appetizers. We also ordered the Beef Brisket, the Beef Bulgogi, the Beef Kalbi (Marinated Short Rib) and the Filet Mignon to grill at the table. We also got the Kimchi Beef Fried Rice to complement our food. While the portion sizes are good, unfortunately the food did not live up to our expectations: The Rolls were about average and nothing to write home about, they were rather bland and lacked in flavor. The meats were very fatty and got pulverized badly on the grill. By the time they were cooked, very little was left of them as all the fat had melted away. The Filet Mignon (obviously the least fatty of the four) was the most tender and the tastiest. All of the meats lacked in flavor. The Bulgogi was not tender at all and hard to chew. The fried rice was also average and not memorable, it also lacked in flavor. Drinks 4: Full bar with specialty drinks and a good selection of premium spirits, along with beer (tap and bottle), wine, sake, soju and soft drinks. We had the Sapporo draft which was quite good as it always is. The Last Word 3: We visited with high hopes, but the food and service fell short of our expectations. However, I must note that for AYCE customers who are primarily looking for large, all you can eat portions up and above everything else, these shortcomings may not be as important as if you are going for the dining experience. read more

Solid KBBQ joint in Burbank, plus outdoor seating/dog friendly patio is always a plus for these type of restaurants! It's obviously not authentic like the ones you easily find in Ktown, and the "Han" in the restaurant sign is obviously from the middle letters in "PF CHANG'S" which used to be in this area (efficient re-use of letters LOL), but as a Burbankian I love that I can easily grab KBBQ so close. This place is AYCE with sushi available as well on their menu. It is categorized into 4 tiers. Since I was celebrating my belated birthday here with a few friends and it was also a post 1/2 marathon meal for me, we went with the A+B+C menu, which included a lot more premium types of meat. You get 1hr30 min to order and eat. My favorite cuts were the beef tongue, short ribs, beef belly, and brisket! Their brisket was actually surprisingly good. I did like that we could order some basic cuts of sashimi and also rolls as well! One thing I wish they had more though was a variety of banchan, like other KBBQ restaurants do. The spread really could've used some cheese corn, fish cakes, or you know, the usual stuff. But it's fine cuz everything was AYCE anyways. Not a bad place forreal! I have been to this location twice. They offer lunch specials Monday- Friday which is very reasonable price for the food you can get. I highly recommend garlicky Brussel sprouts. They are out of this world. They are so delicious and full of flavor. They offer a variety sushi options too. Sushi is good too. There is both dine in and outdoor dining area too. Outdoor is perfect for times that weather is not too hot. If it's too hot, it makes it harder to do the barbecue. Service is okay. Servers come and check and ask if you need anything. They have an inside and an outside and I guess most people eat inside but the outside is a much better vibe. You can see the people walking outside in downtown Burbank, they have lights they have a music TVs everywhere. They have tables with hot plate centers to cook your meat. The bartender we had was great went there for happy hour. Great food offers for happy hour. Great drink offers for happy hour plenty of parking at the mall. I strongly recommend the A + B + C menu that includes a bunch of sushi rolls, premium meat and the basic set. Everything I had here was to die for. The meat quality was shockingly good. My favorite was the marinated short ribs, the truffle salmon roll, and the salmon carpaccio which tasted like it had truffles. Pork jowl, tongue, and steak were also amazing. They don't offer actual sushi and mainly rolls but it's still really good! You can't go wrong with anything here and the kimchi fried rice was actually authentic. Heads up they charge you $15~ for leftovers so order intelligently. They offer a lot of different sides and include rice paper and salad. The vibe is so nice inside and the service was on point. One of my favorite AYCE places to eat in the area with friends. You can find parking everywhere, and you can enter the location through the mall or from the outside. The meats at Hanz Korean BBQ are definitely solid. The marinated filet and bulgogi are my go tos every time, and the salmon sashimi and salmon carpaccio are also delicious. The food has consistently been fresh and flavorful, which keeps me coming back. That said, the service could use some improvement. On our last visit (party of 5), our server felt a bit disengaged, she was very quick to leave the table, even when it seemed like someone at our party needed something. I assumed she was busy, but I noticed her being more attentive to smaller groups nearby. With gratuity automatically included for larger parties, it sometimes feels like there isn't the same level of care or attentiveness. This has actually happened on my last two visits with different servers, so I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or just the way things are managed when it's busy. The restaurant is conveniently located next to the Burbank Mall, so you can use their parking structure or the parking structure in Downtown Burbank. When we walked in, the place was pretty empty; we got a table right away. We ordered à la carte because we all wanted different things. We started with drinks, and I had a lychee margarita, which was delicious. For food, I ordered a miso soup, spicy tuna roll, and chow fun with pork belly. Parking is easy in the garage directly across the street. I had the pork belly noodles and house red. Noodles where plentiful and hearty. I sat at the bar where the bartender was very helpful and attentive.
