My son was stuck on the 15 freeway and needed a tow to a local shop. After calling AAA they sent Hamner towing. We had the option of sending the car to another shop but decided to go ahead and send to Hammer towing. They had the car for 2 weeks which I thought was a little long, however they took care of the issue at a reasonable price (I checked other shops and they would have been more). About 1 week later the engine light came back on and we called them thinking it was the same issue. They corrected the problem (different issue than previous). They did this at no cost to us. He exemplifies professionalism, genuine kindness and courtesy. He effortlessly turned the proverbial "bad day" into a stress free experience. Gerry is very professional, trust-worthy, and did an excellent job. He had a print-out of the status of the battery and charging system, which is perfect so you can see the facts. Since the battery was dead, I decided to go ahead and purchase a new AAA battery from them that he said he could bring back in about an hour from the shop & install. Great price and 3 year warranty. I had a scary situation on the 15 north freeway when my window was smashed out by a rock or something. I got off the freeway and dealt with my window but in my stress I must have left my car on so my battery died. I just thought my car was broken. lol In any case AAA called Hamner Towing out to tow me to my dealer. Although they said they would be to me within an hour Ray from Hamner towing called me in about 5 minutes and said he would be there in 10 minutes and I also received a text alert he was on his way. Yup, I only had to wait about 15 minutes from when I made the call to when he rolled up! Ray was super helpful and friendly. Assessed the situation and said it was probably just my battery. It was a very hot and muggy day so he had me sit in the cab of his air conditioned truck while he jumped the battery. He then recommended where to go to have my battery checked for free. Had my car break down on the 15 south last week. Apparently, flat bed tow trucks are pretty hard to come by during rush hour. Anyway, they had the earliest one (which was still a 30 min wait), but the guy was very nice, was very careful with my car, and did a good job. I paid $150 because I don't have AAA, which seemed a little high, but not unreasonable. I would use them again (although I think I might buy AAA now). read more

Our truck was stolen early last week. The police found it on Friday and our truck was parked here. We weren't notified until Tuesday, in the meantime being charged $50 per day + the towing charge. I get the towing charge, I understand the cost of having our truck stored here. What I don't appreciate is the process between the police, them, me getting my truck back and my $660. read more

Best customer service for having a bad start to my week Monday morning. I called AAA to open a service request due to my car not turning on and Hamner Towing was sent out. The technician that came out to me was very polite, but failed to test my battery after jump starting my car. I completed the survey and I was very surprised to receive a follow up call because most businesses don't care to reach out after receiving negative feedback. KC was very professional and understanding to my situation. He offered to send out a different technician as a courtesy to follow up with Monday's service call. Gerry, the new technician, came the same day at my convenience. Gerry was very knowledgeable, apologetic, efficient, and literally provided the best customer service I could have asked for. I left my lights on at the doctor's office and ended up with a dead battery. Called AAA. The guy took a long time to get there. Weak battery he said, so I agreed to buy a new battery for $99.00. It took him forever to install the battery......and then he cranked so hard on the hold-down nuts that he broke the battery hold-down. Instead of offering to fix the thing, he told me I could get one at the dealer. I give him the benefit of the doubt and even tipped him, but I am bummed because the whole process took so long that now I'm sitting in traffic on account of it. I get home, and it turns out that there was nothing wrong with the hold-down clamp, he really did break the thing because he was careless. So now, I've lost enough time that I could have driven to Auto-Zone, bought the battery, installed it myself, and been money ahead. It took me a good hour to fix the battery hold-down, but at least I didn't have to buy a new battery tray and hold-down from the dealer. I needed a motorcycle tow on a Saturday afternoon. Called AAA and they called Hamner Towing, our driver was Carl. He was stuck in a little traffic (but who isn't out off the 91/15 change?!?) but he called to let us know of the delay. When he arrived, his truck was super clean! It looked brand new, inside and out!!! Loading the bike he treated it as his own. Everything on the truck was organized - he wasn't running around the truck trying to find whatever it is he needed. He used motorcycle straps on the handle bars (instead of metal hooks on my chrome!) and secured the rear with straps on my frame. He put a towel between the strap and the frame so it wouldn't scratch my frame. Attention to detail was awesome! His personality/attitude was outstanding. We were 38 mi from home, in the middle of a heavy traffic area. He took us the back way, to avoid some of that traffic. Always an A+!! ((IF I GET TOWED AGAIN, I WANT CARL!!!)
