Second, why do i need to provide my medical insurance? I was told in case I come in with a medical emergency and too upset to provide medical ins info, my card would be on file. He has a perfectly reasonable, logical explanation for whatever ails you, and he does whatever he can to explain it to you. He also uses technology that - prior to visiting his office - I hadn't seen in other optometrists' offices, like the camera that takes a big, clear photo of the inside of your eye to check for any horrifying abnormalities and to compare the overall state of their health year after year. The rest of the staff was really helpful. An employee that was awesome helped me pick frames and I personally didn't feel any pressure to buy, just helpful suggestions about the shape and color of the frames. There is a reason Carolina Family Vision was voted "Best Eye Doctor" in Holly Springs this year.

They take their time all the way through and were all pleasantly patient with my questions and very considerate with all my concerns. I knew a brand of frames that works well for me but there appear to be many frames to choose from and the frames fitter was knowledgeable. I frankly enjoyed my visit.

This is against a Federal law called the FTC Opthalmic Practice Rules--the Eyeglass Rule. What is most disturbing is to see elderly people receiving services here and more than likely they are not aware of this law. Without $80+ dollars this can mean the difference for affording necessary medication, food, utility bills etc.

Manager Brittany at HS wants to charge me 80 plus tax for replacement/repair and argues on the phone with me that's the best she can do. If you're thinking about going here I'd think twice. She claimed the year warranty was over. But if a merchant sells a defective frame - and I've had quite few glasses in my lifetime with never a problem- if it sellls a defective frame it should make good. My husband had an appointment today 12/30 which had been scheduled for 2 months. His appointment was at 3:40 pm, but he was delayed because of an accident. He received a phone call at 3:43 pm in which he explained the delay, but the office woman rudely informed him "Well we're going to have to cancel if you aren't here in 2 minutes." He told her the GPS showed him arriving in 3 minutes, so she told him they could not accommodate him. Are you joking? Literally every time we've been to this office, we have sat in the waiting room and/or in the exam room for 15-30 minutes... we have been more than accommodating of the office/doctors' schedule, but they can't extend the same courtesy for someone who took time off of work after 2 months of waiting to be seen? Ridiculous.
