Transparency and attention to detail; these are the two adjectives that come to mind with my experience at this service shop. I had issues with my wifi on my surface pro, I am not a novice at troubleshooting my device, but after being unable to figure it out, I sought yelp for solutions. I had gone to "you break it I fixed" first because of the good reviews, upon arriving, the guy didn't really look over my computer after I gave a good idea of the issue. Instead, he was more concerned about selling a coverage plan that seemed too good to be true. After a brief discussion, I determined that the laptop had an external issue, so I went to Geek Squad. Again, the representative did not look at my computer and told me the product had to be shipped to Microsoft, so I asked for an external wifi adapter. Went home, the problem with my wifi persisted. The next day, I found a little shop near my apartment and decided to give it a try. Upon explaining my problem, the technician looked over my computer and did a thorough check. We shortly found out that the problem was not with the hardware, but software corruption. He showed me the settings I had overlooked and fixed my computer within a few minutes. Many of the bigger competitors do not have time to care for sitting with a customer for a few minutes to resolve an issue, but it is obvious that Hammes cares about his craft and his clients. The few minutes he spent fixing my technical issues has earned my respect as a customer for as long as I live in Glendale. Last week my desk top computer stopped working. I have had it for some time and was very concerned that it could not be repaired. Vache at Hammi Computer provided exceptional customer service.
