excellent experience with LA Wifi Guys!…read more I had a crappy security camera set up, and a failing doorbell cam and needed them replaced. Out of frustration, I was determined not to cheap out and dug into the options. Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I've already shared videos and stills with the neighborhood (as we are having coyote issues), and it was so quick and easy to do. A+++ experience all around! Thank you so much, David!

Communicative, professional, punctual, and friendly. Due to the nature of the installations, jobs can take days which meant he was booked quite a ways out. We asked for his earliest availability because our move-in was going to be dependent upon the installation, and he started work on a Sunday. Pretty much unheard of and I was super surprised! The quality of work is indisputable and I have no regrets. Wires hidden--he was adamant about making things look the best they can even when we were whatever about it if it was easier--and everything installed beautifully. Cost wasn't cheap especially with the Unifi equipment but it was very fair, and I don't know how much better it can get than this for a regular homeowner. My friend is a huge Unifi nerd and my husband a huge A/V nerd and neither had a single complaint. And they installed a recessed box and put up my Frame without charging me for it! Gave suggestions on how best to do it, brought the parts, and got it all setup. My electrician then added an outlet to the box and the base of the wall so everything is cleaaaan. Team work makes the dream work! Can't recommend Gbit enough.

Other contractors had argued this point with me during the quote process, but Andrei said he'd be happy to oblige, after assuring me that he would take great care with my walls with no plaster damage if that was my concern. This ended up being a project that took a lot more knowhow than I expected. They had to change wires and adjust the air conditioner on the roof in order to make it work properly. Despite having to do way more than expected they still only charged me the estimated amount. After this experience I had them do several other projects at my condo including mounting my TVs, installing smart locks and security cameras. When I moved into a house they uninstalled everything from my condo and reinstalled it in my new place. At my new house I had them mount 4 TVs and hide all wiring in the wall and cable boxes, install routers and internet, sound bars and smart lights throughout the entire house. This work was exhaustive and despite that, Artur was friendly and efficient. At every turn, he was able to recommend the best product and system for my project as well as help me to know more about extending and building on those systems in the future. They are very affordable and did everything professionally; never leaving before the job was completed and I was happy with it. This review was long overdue and I look forward to continuing to work with them on my future projects.
