Robert knows his stuff! I called him with a few issues. I had a dead laptop and needed to save the data to a hard drive, also bought a "new" old Mac Pro that needed an OS update, and finally I was having trouble with my wireless router that the manufacturer was unwilling to help me with. I called Robert in the morning, he arrived at my home in the afternoon and in two hours everything was done and running beautifully. Plus he advised us on our Internet package. He informed us that were paying for more speed than we needed so we downgraded and saved $50 on our cable bill without noticing any loss of Internet speed . THANK YOU ROBERT! I couldn't be happier. read more

Robert is the BEST there is. He came to me-big plus! He solved my problems quickly and got me back up and running. I had two elderly laptops that turned out to be dead....actually, Robert told me that they were just "retired". He took them to a place where the parts could be recycled. So it was sort of like an organ donation. I feel better about it. Seriously, Robert is my new go-to guy for all things technical. read more

I was so happy to find Robert from JewelCity. He came over on time and solved our home wireless issues when others couldn't. Now we have 5 bars of coverage everywhere in our 5000sqft home, and he even found a way to improve our cellphone coverage, whereas before our house was a complete deadzone for AT&T read more

I don't usually rate businesses that aren't restaurants, but this one saved my life. I had been having some problems with my computer for a while then I let one of my friends borrow it because his got stolen. To repay me he gave me my computer back even more messed up than it was before and I noticed it was taking a little while turning on. Eventually the computer crashed and wouldn't turn on and I needed help getting my files out of what I thought may have been a very corrupted hard drive. I needed some files for a project I was working on that had a deadline later that week so I needed it back fast, they said they could do it in a day. They took my mac and restored everything onto a hard drive and I had everything the next day. Not too pricey either considering my whole life was on that stupid computer. read more

I was referred to JewelCity because of a really great experience a friend of mine had. So when it was that time to rejuvenate my macbook, I called up Jewel City. I was so surprised, a tech was sent out immediately and he fixed my laptop while I was sitting right next to him in the comfort of my own living room. If privacy means anything to you, definitely go with these guys. I couldnt believe that my 2008 macbook pro could be so fast. I ended up upgrading the hard drive and ram memory to the maximum limits and now I can continue to squeeze a couple more years out of my beloved mac. In all honestly this company is AMAZING. The service they offer is one of a kind and I would recommend them to anyone. It takes a lot for me to write a review, and usually is a hit or miss, this time it was definitely a hit! Thank you Jewel City for helping me out! read more

5 stars is not enough for this business. I found them on yelp and I got way more than I expected. He came to my house the same night I called him and at a pretty late time. Robert is not only a computer genius but he also has good character and human skills. All I called was for a data back up on my MacBook but he diagnosed my hard drive before anything and found corrupted files. He said I needed a new hard drive but a day later, he called me and said I don't need one anymore because he cleaned everything. He backed up my data. He restored my MacBook. He did some computer stuff and he delivered everything earlier than expected. I put my name and reputation on the line for this guy. THANK YOU! read more

I am a heavy user on my MacBook Pro as a freelance designer. I keep a whole host of files on my laptop, so it wouldn't be hard to believe that my Mac was literally on the verge of dying. For this reason, I took my Mac to Robert for a quick consult, and almost immediately, he was able to tell me that I had a hard drive problem, with a few other problems to boot. Hours later, he brought back my fully functioning laptop, which he cleaned incidentally. He ended up installing a solid state hard drive, and now my computer is FAST. All things considered, he did this all for a fraction of the cost with premium service. If you're a business who needs personable service with excellent and quick turnaround, I highly recommend Jewel City Computers. read more

Robert is a total straight shooter, very personable, and he definitely knows his stuff when it comes to IT support. I've gone to a few other people to have my old Dell laptop fixed, and not only could they not do the job, they charged me an arm and leg. He was able to fix the many issues, and in record time as well, without breaking the bank. Thank you Robert! read more

I found this place on Yelp and they did an excellent job cleaning my PC of viruses. I have taken my computer to other places and the viruses kept coming back. It has been months since I got my computer back from Jewel City Computers and it is running flawlessly. They really fixed my computer and the price was very reasonable. The customer service was excellent and Robert is very professional. He even followed up with me weeks after the repair service to make sure everything was still running smoothly! It is easy to rate this place with five stars. They deserve it. read more

Jewel City Computers is the best IT/Data recovery service I have ever worked with. I went to the Apple Store with my distraught wife's water damaged macbook and waited for the "Genius Bar" for half an hour, only to be told there was nothing they could do. Undeterred, I searched data recovery on Yelp and unfortunately everyone was closed on the Sunday before labor day. Luckily, I found a gem of a person in Robert from Jewel City Computers! Not only was he prompt, courteous, and professional-he came to me! He picked up my wife's computer and within 20 minutes let me know he could save all of her files and in less than an hour he was back with a usb full of her precious work files and her hard drive. Robert is a consummate professional who is honest and does not try to upsell you. I will definitely use him for all of my business and personal IT/Computing needs and I recommend him to anyone looking for a true professional read more
