First off the staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable, I've walked in with questions on certain treats that can recommend to me for my dog as well as my moms doggy because she tends to be a little anxious and hyperactive. They were so sweet there and gave me options on what they have, it was very helpful. My dog loved the treats which was a huge bonus! I have seen the sign since I lived out in Spanish Springs (5 years), however, today was my first time visiting and I am completely Impressed! I called looking for a specific brand of dry food, which they didn't have, but the owner(?) was SO nice and asked us to come in with our dog and sample some options. Met at the door by an absolutely stunning, sweet Great Dane named Gandalf() we spoke with the owner about training and picky eaters while our little guy sniffed some options. Amazing customer service and great business. As expected on New Year's Day most local businesses are closed, we needed a specific over the counter supplement for our German Shepherd. We had ordered it over a week ago via Amazon, only to have it disappear during delivery. We researched and discovered some local shops carry it. Upon calling the business it was closed, again expected. What wasn't expected was the owner calling me back and telling us she was heading to the shop, she believed she had one container remaining and would wait for us to arrive to get it. This store is inside Vista Village (shopping center) along with Pinocchio's restaurant and several other businesses. It's across the street from Spanish Springs Center another shopping center. This is a wonderful quaint little store. The owner is super friendly and kind. I asked her advice for purchasing a new snack that I could hide our dogs medication in. She made the suggestion of Bark Pops white cheddar and they look a lot like Cheetos. She suggested that I use a chop stick and make a hole in the Bark Pop and hide the medicine inside it. I purchased that and a couple of other meals. My dog seems to enjoy a variety of foods and tastes. We discussed my dog liking variety and she made several recommendations. She was very knowledgeable and kind. So gave me a couple of treats for free to try. The owners Great Dane Morphius is in the store and is quite the gentleman! He is super sweet. Robin is extremely knowledgeable in a wide range of pet health and wellness issues, and goes out of her way to provide solutions and support. When she heard about my beagle Tyrion's glaucoma, she even donated some of her own supply of eye drops to assist in his treatment! Great place to get dog AND cat foods. They also have plenty of toys and accessories too! The owner is so nice and helpful and so is Morphius the Great Dane! I've been a regular shopper here since it was previously owned under another name, for at least nine years, and still love it! The place is neat, tidy and well organized. Since Morph moved in, I've never noticed a dog poo issue, ever! I know that was a very Unusual fluke. I wish I had the time to constantly pick up after my own dogs when they potty in their yard but I have to settle for a once a day pick up because that's all my time allows.
