With all of that said also, I highly recommend this certain brand of dog food: primal pet foods inc. (pic attached)-- back in 2013 my Chihuahua was poisoned by Fresh Pet brand dog food. she made it out alive and the vet recommended this primal brand.. She is now 17 years old and her (new) vet is blown away with how healthy she is and keeps joking that he will see her when she's 25. He has mentioned multiple times that that food is phenomenal. I know it's kind of pricey for a big dog, but I highly recommend for any dog!
