We have stopped here many times over the years to eat, before going to a concert. Food has always been good except for this time. We ordered sliders. Sorry but they were disgusting. They were each in small plastic bags (never had them elsewhere like that) and tasted like they just came out of the microwave. That made the buns taste doughy. And we hardly got any fries with it. There are a lot of mixed reviews about this place and honestly, I wouldn't have chosen it based on the reviews (a friend picked it). When we entered we were greeted by a hostess (even though the sign said seat yourself). We told her we needed to sit close (we had an elderly person in our group). As she started to seat us, we questioned her choice right next to another table. She said they didn't have any social distancing regulations - odd as current regulations are 50% max capacity WITH 6 feet between tables. Our table was definitely not 6 feet from the other. We were not concerned, but thought it was so odd that she'd say that. Our waitress was on point the whole time. I really liked her. She was quick, attentive, and helpful. She gave me suggestions on favorite dishes and I chose the chicken tacos with grilled chicken. And they didn't disappoint! So full of a wide variety of flavors and the chicken was tender. I also tried some of my friend's homemade chips and I really enjoyed them. There were 4 in our party and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The atmosphere was pretty cool and I enjoyed the food so I would be willing to go back if in the area. Good/Bad- It's great they have live music several nights a week but when a popular sporting event is going on at the same time then you are stuck listening to music as you watch the game! Ordered a pizza and asked for extra sauce and they charged me for it! (never has that happened to me at any other pizza place in my life) $6.00 for a miller lite is a bit steep. Service was average, seemed some were working their ass off and others not as much. Will go back but only when no live music is being played. read more

Hamlin Pub has a great, welcoming vibe and the staff is friendly, outgoing and professional. It is the kind of place that you would look forward to whiling away a few hours in the admirable pursuit of respite. Hamlin Pub is a small, regional chain and while this is the only location that I had ever been to, I was impressed with it and enjoyed my visit and embraced that pursuit of respite. Their food is what you would expect from a bar or tavern, but let us not underestimate the merits of bar food (or, if you prefer, "pub grub"). Some of my best memories were with friends enjoying some great bar food and great conversation. The pizza here was good and you can't go wrong with one of their burgers or sandwiches. Hamlin Pub was definitely a great place to kill a bit of time (again, that pursuit of respite) and enjoy a cold drink and something to eat. I would definitely recommend here and I will give it five stars. read more

First off, nice place, drinks & food. Our issue (party of 4) was that it was freezing with the A/C on high. We were going to stay & have some drinks after dinner with the one-man band about to start, but it was so cold, everybody wanted to leave. As i looked around, most everybody ran back to their cars to gram a sweatshirt/jacket. Our waitress said "that's just the way it is here" wtf !! Our young waitress couldn't be found for another drink order or ice tea refill....had to chase her down chatting with co-workers. A nice local pub that reminds me of Cheers. They have a very long draft list with rotating beers. Also a full bar with several liquor choices. When it comes to food my go to is the pot roast. It's delicious and served with mashed potatoes, carrots and onions. I also like the sliders with fries. The pretzel sticks and spinach & artichoke dip are both great options for an appetizer. I had a very good time here with my family. It is definitely a bar/ pub type atmosphere so go there with those expectations. Between me and my family, we tried boneless wings, nachos, a large southwestern style salad, mozzerrella sticks, and their spinach and artichoke dip. We loved the boneless chicken. Out of all the sauces we tried, the 2 alarm is AMAZING. It's got a kick tho so beware. The nachos are HUGE and can definitely be split by 2 people minimum. Especially if you have other appetizers/food. Everything else was good but didn't necessarily blow us away. I also had a Moscow mule that tasted fantastic. The appetizers were quick to arrive, however the food took around 30 min (after the apps) which felt like quite awhile. But in the end we all enjoyed what we ate, and also our server was very nice. And she was quick to get drinks and clear the table. I would definitely come back here if I'm looking for a nice bite to eat, with a good atmosphere. I was assigned a delivery from here via Grubhub. When I arrived and told the hostess I was there to pick up a delivery order, she told me to wait a minute. I waited, and waited. The male (manager on duty?) then approached and told me they were not taking delivery orders at the time and admonished me. He wanted me to let Grubhub know to stop sending deliverers for orders because it was inconveniencing customers. Which I agree customers shouldn't be inconvenienced, but I also show up as a representative of customers and am inconvenienced and admonished myself. I have delivered hundreds of orders for Grubhub and DoorDash. This is probably the worst treatment I have had at a restaurant as a driver. read more

Went here this past Tue after my Grandson graduated. There was about 12 to 14 of us, we ordered some appetizers and 3 pizzas. The food all took FOREVER!! After waiting well over a hour for the pizzas, every single one of them was ICE COLD!! No one wanted to send them back because of how long they took and the kids had school the next day and adults work. They always tell us they have Coors Light on draft by rotating it with another draft but every single time we have gone in its never on draft. 5 of us that were there that night drink Coors Light on draft and was very disappointed to find out again it was not on draft. Take Bud Light off!! By the way, your after 9 menu is for the birds!! Nothing great on it. We used to drive 45-50 minutes just to come to this Hamlin Pub, don't think any of us will be any more, :( read more

Love this place! I go about 3 times a year and look forward to every visit. I've honestly only had two things on the menu, the nachos and the chicken stew. The chicken stew is my favorite comfort food of all time. I get a quart to take home on every visit! The bartenders are super nice. I was beyond shocked today when not only did he recognize me, but remembered my drink after one visit, 3 mos ago! The atmosphere is great for everyone. Waitresses pulled them down when they walked away from your table and pulled them back up when they returned, but sometimes they forgot. I usually always love Hamlin Pub, but this weekend my love for Hamlin died. The Hubby and I had date night, after our earlier outing we decided we would take Uber to Hamlin and hangout, have some drinks and maybe split an appetizer. Uber dropped us off and Hamlin was packed. The hostess said we could wait for seats to open at the bar or she could seat the two of us immediately. I was kind of shocked we would be seated right away because the place was packed for dinner, and it looked like a band was setting up to play. She sat us literally at a two top table right directly in FRONT of the stage & band. I said 'When will the band start?' (Only because I know it'll be loud, everyone will want to see the band I'm sure without me sitting dead center in front of them, and I won't be able to talk to my Husband, I'll have to yell). The hostess said not until after 9pm. That would be great except they started at 8pm... Our server was nice & I did feel bad for being rude/pushy to have her move us to a different spot. Two seats opened at the bar and she moved us there after we cashed out. My whole point is not one person communicated with us that the only two seats left in the place were right in front of the band & the band is going to start playing in X amount of time... I don't mind that we had to sit there, but at least let us know that the band begins playing roughly at 8pm and if were okay with sitting there then great.. If not, I'm sure we would have waited by the bar for seats to open, or waited for a different table. read more
