Great vibe, great service, incredible wine selection. They also have gelato and an amazing store of items from Italy. Must visit!

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Brunch steak and eggs

Waitress asked if I had any allergies, I said no but my friend joining me soon was gluten free. My friend still had to specifically request the gluten free menu when she got there, after looking at the regular menu & not finding any markings of what food was gluten free. It would have been nice if the waitress had just brought it right away. I had the lunch size Gnocchi Carbonara, which was delicious! I did have the suggested wine pairing, which was very good with my food. And what a great idea to offer some lunch sized portions of some of the dishes (ends at 3pm). My friend had the gluten free grilled mahi mahi sandwich & side of Asian slaw, which she enjoyed. They weren't super busy & we sat quite awhile to chat. Really enjoyed it & will definitely go back. Looking forward to trying some of the other menu items!

A group of 7 of us met at Cooper's Hawk for dinner. I liked the entry way with the gift shop area,…read morealthough I didn't really stop to shop. But I found it odd that the bar didn't have any chairs. Our server (I think his name was Darren, or something like that?) was very good. He explained about the bin numbers next to the entree descriptions and was just generally kind and helpful. Several people ordered salads, and they looked very good. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken from their Life Balance section. I enjoyed it very much. I don't usually like warm tomatoes, but the ones in this dish were really good. Honestly, I'm surprised that this was a lower calorie dish, as it certainly was plentiful, filling and satisfying.

Vino & Vibes absolutely lives up to the name. Can I give this place 10 stars??…read more First off, the food was amazing. Everything tasted super fresh and the menu leans more "snacky" in the best possible way -- perfect little plates that are clearly meant to pair with wine. We ordered a few things for the table and it felt like the kind of place where you just keep ordering one more thing because everything sounds good. Nothing heavy, just really well done bites that let the wine shine. Speaking of wine, the selection is awesome. It's not the usual predictable restaurant list. There are some really interesting bottles and styles on there, which makes it fun if you actually enjoy trying different wines instead of just defaulting to the same thing every time. Service was great too. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, and you can tell the owners are really hands-on and working hard to make the place special. That always makes a difference. And the ambiance... chef's kiss. Moody lighting, cozy, stylish but not pretentious. Just good vibes all around. It's the kind of spot you want to linger at with friends and a second bottle of wine. Already planning my next visit :)

Food & Wine: I really want to love St. Julian Winery - Troy,…read moreand there are good things here. The wine itself is... fine. I'm more of a dry-wine person, and honestly I probably only enjoy about 5% of the menu, but I will say the prices are great and the menu is huge. There's truly something for everyone, just maybe not for the dry crowd. I do appreciate that they offer snacks for purchase and the wine club is actually a great deal. Service: This is where it slipped for me. I've been to other St. Julian locations and had genuinely great experiences, so I know the bar is higher. Here, the service was just ok. The staff didn't seem very engaged and gave off more "going through the motions" than "happy to have you here." It felt like regulars got the warm treatment, while everyone else was kind of an afterthought, which was a bummer. Ambiance: It's always packed, which says something, but the space itself feels cold and a little warehouse-y. I really wish this location had that cozy, homey winery vibe the others do. The energy is busy but not welcoming, and the location doesn't help much either. If I could give one suggestion to the team, it'd be to soften the space and the experience a bit, warmer lighting, more interaction, something that makes people want to linger instead of just drink and leave. I know this place can be great, it just doesn't quite get there yet.

Our server was so kind and helpful with my husband's odd allergy. They made sure he knew exactly what he was eating. Our soup and salad were very delicious, but very small portions. We both had the kids grilled cheese and then shared a browned butter chocolate chip cookie. The setting is cute and a little quirky. It's not very close to home, so I don't think I'll be back. I did enjoy my lunch and I really liked how it was very clear that the food was fresh and homemade.

It was a lovely experience and the food was for the most part very delicious. Service was friendly and good but a tad on the slow side (not our server's fault, they seemed pretty busy and I think she may have been the only waitress working, so she was absolutely juggling a ton). They were out of the "pretty potatoes" which was disappointing because they sounded super delicious. The restaurant is a little dark and when very busy can get a little loud. The three women at the table next to us were having a very loud conversation (of which I picked up every word) and I could barely hear my fiancé, which I didn't love, so the acoustics are a bit odd. That being said, the decor and vibe is very home-y and everyone that works there was very pleasant and lovely, from the hostess to the man that refilled our waters. We got the charcuterie plate (selected two cheeses and two meats; comes accompanied by fig jam, mustard, sardinian crackers, and cornichons), the caesar salad, the short rib, the arctic char, and the olive oil cake for dessert. All of the food was really exceptional and delicious except I found the short rib to be a tad dry. We each ordered a cocktail, I got a spritzer and my fiancé got a seasonal Pimm's cup-type cocktail that used house-made cranberry syrup. They can accommodate gluten free diets easily which is also a plus. Overall, we will absolutely be coming back!I want to try that Wagyu Pastrami Reuben!
