While in Lewes we decided to grab a bite to eat at Half Full. When you enter, there are plenty of places to sit. We were immediately greeted and given menus to look over. When you are ready, you walk up to the counter, order, and pay. Your food is than delivered to your table. There are a large variety of wines to choose from and the menu truly has something for everyone. I was in a party of 5. My husband and I split the house salad which came with artichokes, a ranch type dressing, tomatoes, cheese, and cucumber. The salad was really good and refreshing. ($7) We also split a smokin' margharita pizza and I ordered a side of balsamic and fig dressing. The pizza was $10 and was easily shared. I also really wanted to try the artichoke goat cheese pizza $10 but it would have just been too much food for the two of us. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Half Full was a great experience. As soon as my friend and I walked in it was so cozy and welcoming. We walked to the front desk and got menus that had much to pick from. We went with the pizza and we're not disappointed. We could see the cooks in the back making our pizza right after we ordered and it made the experience 10x better. When looking for a dog-friendly lunch place in Lewes, we stumbled across Half Full. With no wait at lunch, we were happy to sit down and enjoy some pizza here. We ordered the Smokin' Margherita ($12) and Not Your Average Pepperoni ($11). I preferred the smokin' margherita, as it was unique in flavor and perfect for a hot summer day. There was plenty of fresh cheese and basil, which I really enjoyed. The pepperoni was fine, but a bit heavy on a hot day for me. This was a good amount of food for three people. All in all, a good place for a quick lunch and a reasonable price on the beach. read more

This tiny restaurant was an amazing find! The chicken soup tasted just like how our Italian Aunt used to make it. The pizzas are on the smaller size but are filled with flavor. This is a must if you are in Lewes visiting. Will be coming back! read more

This place was incredible! We picked up take out on a busy Friday night. Called about an hour ahead of time. We got 3 pizzas- the margherita, Brie and berry and the vegetable with balsamic. All were delicious. I have to say the desserts here may have been better than the pizza. I'm still dreaming about the Nutella mousse parfait! It was incredibly rich but so so good! The carrot cake was outstanding as well. We also got 3 beers to go off the tap which went great with the pizza. Would certainly come here again! Parking could be a little bit of an issue but we found a space right away. read more

Small restaurant with big flavors and great atmosphere. They bring you to your table, give you some menus and then you order at the bar. We got some salads, a pizza and some beers. What could be better? Some beers are on tap, but most are bottled. They also have a nice selection of wines to choose from. I had Dogfish Head 61 on tap. The salads were excellent and our kale thin-crust pizza was very tasty. The service was excellently paced and they were great at keeping our table cleared as we finished our salads. We noticed a number of people came in and picked up the pizzas to go. I picked up a blondie bar to go and it was also very tasty. I feel you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. We were there about 7 pm on Saturday night which was busy but we lucked out and only had to wait about 5 minutes. We can't wait to visit them again in the first town in the First State. read more

Had a really great dinner here. The pizza was great and the beers were good. Great service too. Unfortunately it seems like there's something wrong with the ventilation system in there. By the end of our meal all of our eyes were watering from the smoke throughout the room coming from the pizza ovens. Not sure if this would pass indoor air regulations. I was so excited when I saw Artichoke, Red Pepper and Goat Cheese - so I had to order it. They also have a great selection of beer and wine, we saw JCB No. 21 in the cold case inside, that's a lovely sparkling wine from California! We stopped here on a cool fall afternoon for some wine. We sat outside which was perfect. I like the idea of a wine bar where you order at the register and they bring it out to your table. Then you are free to just sit and enjoy the company of others. I had the pinot gris and my husband got a dogfish head brew! I have been here multiple times. Romantic dimmed lighting vibe good for date night. The pizzas a made fresh to order and they are delicious. Sometimes a little too heavy on the toppings. Half full has good food and drinks, but struggles a bit with the executing their untraditional serving method. It's still worth a try! My girlfriend and I decided to pop in to try out the new location this weekend. When you walk in you are seated at a table, and provided drink and food menus. But you must go to the counter to order. Then they deliver the food and drink to your table. In my time there, I saw a couple get up to order at the counter and someone tried to steal their table. I also saw a waiter mis deliver a pizza to the wrong table. I understand there's going to be growing pains, and hope the system works out. As far as food, the pizzas are square and served on a doughy flatbread like crust. The toppings are numerous, and yummy. My girlfriend and I tried the midnight something or other that had ricotta and onions and goat cheese and it was good, but not overly flavorful. They have a good selection of wine at reasonable prices. read more

This was a Great Pizza. Good Beer and they have wine if that's your bag. The service concept is unique and they let it stay closed until 4, when a lunch crowd would have to be worth the additional staff. Minus 1 star for odd order at the counter concept, lack of hot pepper flakes / grated parm shaker. All said if you are already parked, and don't have to trifle with parking, and aren't hungry before 4, this is a great option. The pizza is great, the toppings are fresh, and you could do so much worse than craft beer and craft pizza. read more

Seven of us ate there on a very busy August sat night. We only waited 15 minutes and got a great booth in the back. We had not been before but liked the unique ordering set up. You get drinks from the wait staff but order your food at the counter. Although a few of us ordered, all of our food was delivered at once. We had a few of the pizzas from the menu and 2 pick your own with just bacon for my kids. They loved it and so did the adults. Pizza was excellent! Caesar salad was basic and good. We had some rose and Sauvignon blanc and they both were very good. Kid friendly but many of the table have high chairs which is why we waited for the booth. read more
