Half & Half never lets me down! This is my first time at this location, but I used to go to the two City of Industry spots all the time and the drinks are always consistently good. The perfectly chewy boba is made fresh you can tell because even with a cold drink, the cup feels warm. Service is also quick and always good.

Decided to get a drink since I was already in the plaza. Menu has a lot of options, milk tea, shaved ice, snacks, pretty much everything, but the drink itself was just average. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing that really stands out compared to a lot of boba spots now. Flavor was okay, sweetness level was fine, but didn't have that strong tea taste I usually like. Place looks a little older but still clean. Service was quick and ordering was easy. Good if you're already here, especially after ramen, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Too many better tea places around now. Still decent, just nothing special.

Half & Half brings back good memories of my high school days making boba runs with my friends. When I was running errands at Aldi in this same plaza, and saw Half & Half Express at this Arcadia location, I stopped by to pick up some boba. Their menus with the drinks they offer had no pricing, and instead there was a list of pricing on the wall. I'm assuming that's to save money on reprinting menus when they change their prices. I ordered my parents a Taro Black Tea with Honey Boba ($7.10/each) and I ordered an Almond Black Milk Tea with Pudding and Honey Boba ($7.82). I received a free size upgrade to a large on my order for their weekday promotion. Note they charge for bags here, and do not offer any cup holders when you're ordering multiple drinks. Most other tea houses will give you a cup holder or bag to hold a large order with. Isn't it in their best interest I order more? I was so excited for my drink but I was a disappointed when I sipped it. Doesn't hit the spot like it used to... and it's so expensive now. Just like all of the other things I've outgrown, I think I'm over it with Half & Half unfortunately. Don't plan on revisiting any time soon.

This was one of the first popular milk tea spots when I was in high school! They're open daily 11:15am-8pm So impressed that the quality and price is still very reasonable! Got Doordash and my order came within 30 min or less! NOTE: Doordash has a promo currently - 25% off (up to $8) on orders $12+ There was a good variety of different kinds of teas, such as milk teas and fruit teas! Prices were reasonable and most drinks were $6-$7+ and toppings are +$0.69! Loved that there were ice and sugar adjustments! The Almond Milk Green Tea ($6.95) with less sugar and less ice with honey boba & taro (+$1.38). It was not too sweet and the almond flavor was slightly nutty. The green tea was not bitter and very refreshing. The honey boba was so chewy and soft! There were huge blocks of taro and was very good! Overall, I really enjoyed this drink! Milk Tea ($7.67) with honey boba and less sugar was very delicious! The boba was very fresh and chewy. The tea wasn't overly sweet or bitter. Definitely enjoyed how refreshing this drink was!

Store is extremely small. Registers are right when you walk in making you hold the door to stay in line if two people are in front. Feels like the layout needs to be reimagined so that the register is towards the back of the store so that more people can be in line. There's also a Kiddleton claw machine taking up space by the entrance as well. My kids loved playing the machine but I had to wait outside because it started to get claustrophobic as more people started coming in. I ordered my usual milk tea with honey boba and it was good. I feel the Pasadena location makes it better.

They're currently running a winter promotion offering a free size upgrade Monday through Friday. I grew up in Rowland Heights and moved to NorCal after college, but while visiting, I wanted to go back to my roots and was excited to see they had a location in Arcadia. I ordered my usual passion fruit Yakult and took advantage of the complimentary size upgrade. The boba was perfectly chewy and nicely sweetened, though the drink itself tasted a bit watered down. Next time, I'll probably go with 75% sweetness instead of half. My friend ordered my other go-to, which is the the green apple green tea and that one was spot on and absolutely delicious.

I got the rose green milk tea with OSMANTHUS MOCHI JELLY!! Such a unique texture and nice flavor. Great service, the cashier was chill.

Fire drinks with fire sizes. It's big and the tapioca balls are cooked to perfection. Truly LA's Top 5 boba tea shops. Come check them out.

Iced Milk with Caramel, Taro Pudding and Honey Boba (special request). Delish! $4.34 (include tax).

Your drinks are full delicious but I think y'all tacky for charging customers $1 for asking drink with no ice!

Pretty solid spot for boba. This was my first time coming here in a very long time so the price was a bit higher. They did offer a free size upgrade which is probably a better bang for your buck. I ordered a mango yogurt drink with 50% sweetness and it was very good. The boba tasted fresh too. They have a huge selection of drinks to choose from too.

The only place I prefer to go for my favorite cold honey milk boba with grass jelly. Everywhere else cannot compare so far in my opinion.

The shop feels very nice and clean with a simple interior design. My top drink is probably the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea, which has an oolong tea base with floral notes and a kick of sweet white peach. I like how creamy and fragrant it is. At 50% sweetness, I feel like there is the perfect balance of sugar, tea, and milk. Another solid drink is the Oops Cheese Matcha Smash, which is easily one of their best sellers. This drink is creamy, rich, and indulgent. The layer of cheese foam deepens the flavor of the matcha, making it extra creamy with an enjoyable contrast. Aside from drinks, there are also some snack food options like popcorn chicken and fries. The savory snacks would pair perfectly alongside the sweet drinks. This is for sure a boba spot I would recommend.

It's tucked away so deep in the middle of nowhere that even the locals forget it exists. You will not stumble upon it -- you will summon it. But once you've completed your side quest and arrived, the popcorn chicken is legit. Like, "grandma-would-approve" legit. And the tea? Actually tasty enough to make you forget you're drinking it in what appears to be an abandoned shed. Service is... well, let's call it leisurely. Price aside, the drinks are good and on par with what you would find at typical boba shops. The food is where this place really shines. They have a large menu, ranging from rice to noodles to grilled meats served on a hot plate. I got the $21 NY steak today, which was a generous portion, served with sliced onions, corn, broccoli and choice of rice or spaghetti. It's not Morton's but, c'mon, $21 for a steak fix these days is a heck of a deal. Most of their entrees are in the $14-18 range. To top it off, the service is great - attentive and very friendly. Free parking lot in the back.

Unfortunately they have discontinued their weekday combo menu making it less worth the drive for us…read moreso we're not sure when we'll next be back. The good news is, their chicken steak is still just as yummy! We ordered: - Grilled chicken steak with black pepper sauce and spaghetti (4/5): Super crispy skin and juicy chicken. The black pepper sauce adds a fragrant touch - much better pairing than the mushroom sauce we got on a previous visit. The spaghetti portion is smaller than at most other HK cafes and isn't as good though. - Baked sole filet with rice and white sauce (3/5): Had high expectations for this dish but it didn't quite meet them. The rice used was plain white rice which isn't what I'm used to at other HK cafes and it left me a bit disappointed since it meant the dish was much more monotone in flavor and there were bites that were unflavorful. The fish itself was generously portioned and easy to eat with the warming cheese and white sauce combo. Wouldn't get again only because I know other spots that do it much better but decent overall. - Beef stew with noodle (3/5): Had expected this to be dry style with the beef stew over softened egg noodles but it came out as a soup. Beef pieces were tender and generous. Egg noodles were a bit overcooked. - Sticky Rice Dim Sum: They were massive and decent in flavor. They were a little mushy I think because it had been steaming a while (which was probably why they were quick to be served) but we didn't mind - Siumai: Generous amount of fish egg on top and was pleasantly meaty. We found parking in the front but also know there's a lot in the back. The restaurant itself is big and pretty empty and quiet. We were glad that service was friendly and quick this visit since the first time we were there one of the servers gave us attitude.
