Half & Half brings back good memories of my high school days making boba runs with my friends. When I was running errands at Aldi in this same plaza, and saw Half & Half Express at this Arcadia location, I stopped by to pick up some boba. Their menus with the drinks they offer had no pricing, and instead there was a list of pricing on the wall. I'm assuming that's to save money on reprinting menus when they change their prices. I ordered my parents a Taro Black Tea with Honey Boba ($7.10/each) and I ordered an Almond Black Milk Tea with Pudding and Honey Boba ($7.82). I received a free size upgrade to a large on my order for their weekday promotion. Note they charge for bags here, and do not offer any cup holders when you're ordering multiple drinks. Most other tea houses will give you a cup holder or bag to hold a large order with. Isn't it in their best interest I order more? I was so excited for my drink but I was a disappointed when I sipped it. Doesn't hit the spot like it used to... and it's so expensive now. Just like all of the other things I've outgrown, I think I'm over it with Half & Half unfortunately. Don't plan on revisiting any time soon.

Store is extremely small. Registers are right when you walk in making you hold the door to stay in line if two people are in front. Feels like the layout needs to be reimagined so that the register is towards the back of the store so that more people can be in line. There's also a Kiddleton claw machine taking up space by the entrance as well. My kids loved playing the machine but I had to wait outside because it started to get claustrophobic as more people started coming in. I ordered my usual milk tea with honey boba and it was good. I feel the Pasadena location makes it better.

This was one of the first popular milk tea spots when I was in high school! They're open daily 11:15am-8pm So impressed that the quality and price is still very reasonable! Got Doordash and my order came within 30 min or less! NOTE: Doordash has a promo currently - 25% off (up to $8) on orders $12+ There was a good variety of different kinds of teas, such as milk teas and fruit teas! Prices were reasonable and most drinks were $6-$7+ and toppings are +$0.69! Loved that there were ice and sugar adjustments! The Almond Milk Green Tea ($6.95) with less sugar and less ice with honey boba & taro (+$1.38). It was not too sweet and the almond flavor was slightly nutty. The green tea was not bitter and very refreshing. The honey boba was so chewy and soft! There were huge blocks of taro and was very good! Overall, I really enjoyed this drink! Milk Tea ($7.67) with honey boba and less sugar was very delicious! The boba was very fresh and chewy. The tea wasn't overly sweet or bitter. Definitely enjoyed how refreshing this drink was!

They're currently running a winter promotion offering a free size upgrade Monday through Friday. I grew up in Rowland Heights and moved to NorCal after college, but while visiting, I wanted to go back to my roots and was excited to see they had a location in Arcadia. I ordered my usual passion fruit Yakult and took advantage of the complimentary size upgrade. The boba was perfectly chewy and nicely sweetened, though the drink itself tasted a bit watered down. Next time, I'll probably go with 75% sweetness instead of half. My friend ordered my other go-to, which is the the green apple green tea and that one was spot on and absolutely delicious.

I got the rose green milk tea with OSMANTHUS MOCHI JELLY!! Such a unique texture and nice flavor. Great service, the cashier was chill.

Iced Milk with Caramel, Taro Pudding and Honey Boba (special request). Delish! $4.34 (include tax).

Your drinks are full delicious but I think y'all tacky for charging customers $1 for asking drink with no ice!

Pretty solid spot for boba. This was my first time coming here in a very long time so the price was a bit higher. They did offer a free size upgrade which is probably a better bang for your buck. I ordered a mango yogurt drink with 50% sweetness and it was very good. The boba tasted fresh too. They have a huge selection of drinks to choose from too.

I have been at Half & Half Tea Express in Arcadia on several occasions whenever I pick up ramen from their next door neighbor Ramen Yukinoya. Food and drinks go hand in hand at least in my book LOL. Wow, it has been 4 years since my original review. Time flies that's for sure. Well, things have changed since the last time I was here. They now charge for no ice which is a bummer... so ask for less less ice which is an option... thank goodness... I don't like my drinks watered down by ice if possible. They don't have a rewards program... I don't recall if they ever did. You may super size your drink for some extra change... sorry I don't remember the extra cost... probably no more than $1.00, but close to it. I ended up getting 3 drinks... 1 Kumquat lemonade with aloe plus lychee jelly and basil seeds, 1 Honey lemonade with aloe, 1 Brown sugar milk tea with honey boba... all with regular sweetness and less less ice. I didn't super sized them because I forgot about it, but will do so next time. All our drinks were amazing... flavor and taste were on point! Both my daughters and myself enjoyed our drinks very much. Staff was super friendly and nice. Thank you ladies! Always enjoy coming here for fantastic drinks and great service. Ambiance is simple cute. If you haven't already, give Half & Half a try! Enjoy!! Btw, if you walk towards the restroom, you'll see a very antique phone on your right... don't touch, look and photo only!

Ordered the ice milk with boba and pudding which is the most famous drink here. Really good if you wait for the warm boba to cool down from the ice. Only downside is the price which was $7.50 for a regular and a $1 more to upgrade. Service was quick! Parking - a lot bc in a market plaza

My experience at Half and Half is nothing but great! Been loving their Ice Milk Drink with pudding & Honey Boba. But I actually ordered the wrong order which is with Milk Tea, and tastes even better! Ambiance itself is a quick grab & go, not a place to hang out. There were lots of places before now it's downsizing. Wish they still keep the tables for us to dine in though. Service was good, no complain)

There is nothing that sets me off more than bad boba. I requested that the barista remake my tea because it was too bitter, only for the new tea to be more bitter than the last. Not to mention, no refunds. I BARELY touched my drink; not even worth the $8 I had to pay for it; and they can't even give me my money back so I can pay for THERAPY because my god I'll need it after having to wait in a cramped room to taste that. Needless to say, I drove over to Au79 IMMEDIATELY and gave them the fattest tip that I've ever tipped a place because I realized how easy it is to take good boba for granted. This place gave me psychic damage. It's a huge downgrade from the old location on Foothill. Never coming here again when I can drive to the plaza over and get a much better tea for LESS. DO NOT COME HERE!!

I ordered their employee top choice mango Jamaica with aloe and lychee jelly. The color and taste is not like mango (50% sugar) but more like Chinese bayberry 杨梅。 it's otherwise refreshing and tasty, but this shop can get busy and I waited 20 mins for my drink.

Humongous size for such delicious boba balls

The only place I prefer to go for my favorite cold honey milk boba with grass jelly. Everywhere else cannot compare so far in my opinion.

Parking - Street parking only, no dedicated parking lot. Interior is pretty clean, cafe vibes, and some tables around but not too many. There's a huge table for big groups as well which is nice. There's also a self ordering kiosks which is always a nice sight to see when you visit tea shops. We tried the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea and the Oops Cheese Matcha Smash which seems to be one of their more popular drinks. The white peach is what you expect, refreshing and easy to sip. Very happy with the drink overall. As for the Oops Cheese Matcha Smash, aesthetically, the drink is great for photos. It looks more like a swirl drink than anything. I love the overall texture of the drink. It was also as refreshing as the white peach. The cheese mix with the matcha created a swirling feeling, each sip is filled with both flavoring, highly recommend. Excited to revisit again later on, love their menu options, and it seems like a decent spot to hangout with friends or a group despite the smaller space.

It's crisp black tea, salty & sweet brulee foam, and non-dairy milk with bouncy, perky boba pearls. I sipped happily. I arrived at Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City) on Sunday (around 11:12AM). Parking is simple since there's a nearby neighborhood with street parking. I quickly found a spot. Customers can order at the self-service kiosk or the counter. I chose the self-service kiosk, and I regret it because I dislike how the self-service kiosk requires the customer's phone number to proceed. Staff communicates well. After ordering, Staff honestly & politely informed me that they'd need 20 additional minutes for their Boba since they recently opened. I was perfectly fine with that since they spoke upfront and honestly. After the 20 minutes passed, the drink took four minutes and 14 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Baked Brulee Milk Tea ($6.59) with Boba (additional 75 cents). It's delicious. This chill drink carries a crisp tea flavor. The foam is also zesty with a soft sweetness. It reminds me of a creamy milk tea. In addition, they made wonderful boba pearls. These boba pearls are sweet, bouncy, and playful. YUM! On ambiance, Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City) is a wonderful spot to study/work. There's a long wooden table with 9 electrical plug spots, and there's four available electrical outlets. The location also includes customer internet with password; the details are confidently shown on the counter. The location also has a gender neutral restroom in the back, and there's plentiful hand sanitizer bottles in reach. The location felt clean and comfortable. Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City) uses its space well. There's four tables and one long wooden table. There's also two small outside tables. During my stay, it felt very comfy as I listened to its smooth music. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Oops Boba Tea & Coffee (Temple City). They serve wonderful drinks and boba. If searching for a place to study/work, this is an easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5

Price aside, the drinks are good and on par with what you would find at typical boba shops. The food is where this place really shines. They have a large menu, ranging from rice to noodles to grilled meats served on a hot plate. I got the $21 NY steak today, which was a generous portion, served with sliced onions, corn, broccoli and choice of rice or spaghetti. It's not Morton's but, c'mon, $21 for a steak fix these days is a heck of a deal. Most of their entrees are in the $14-18 range. To top it off, the service is great - attentive and very friendly. Free parking lot in the back.

Unfortunately they have discontinued their weekday combo menu making it less worth the drive for us…read moreso we're not sure when we'll next be back. The good news is, their chicken steak is still just as yummy! We ordered: - Grilled chicken steak with black pepper sauce and spaghetti (4/5): Super crispy skin and juicy chicken. The black pepper sauce adds a fragrant touch - much better pairing than the mushroom sauce we got on a previous visit. The spaghetti portion is smaller than at most other HK cafes and isn't as good though. - Baked sole filet with rice and white sauce (3/5): Had high expectations for this dish but it didn't quite meet them. The rice used was plain white rice which isn't what I'm used to at other HK cafes and it left me a bit disappointed since it meant the dish was much more monotone in flavor and there were bites that were unflavorful. The fish itself was generously portioned and easy to eat with the warming cheese and white sauce combo. Wouldn't get again only because I know other spots that do it much better but decent overall. - Beef stew with noodle (3/5): Had expected this to be dry style with the beef stew over softened egg noodles but it came out as a soup. Beef pieces were tender and generous. Egg noodles were a bit overcooked. - Sticky Rice Dim Sum: They were massive and decent in flavor. They were a little mushy I think because it had been steaming a while (which was probably why they were quick to be served) but we didn't mind - Siumai: Generous amount of fish egg on top and was pleasantly meaty. We found parking in the front but also know there's a lot in the back. The restaurant itself is big and pretty empty and quiet. We were glad that service was friendly and quick this visit since the first time we were there one of the servers gave us attitude.
